Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Keter

Special Containment Procedures: The site of SCP-XXXX is secured by a 2 meter high fence in a 3 kilometer radius and is under constant video surveillance. Additional facilities for permanent security and research staff are in place and maintained by the foundation under the guise of a scientific environment project. Civilians trying to enter the security perimeter are to be detained and transferred to local authorities. In case of an attempted containment breach by instances of SCP-XXXX-1 or SCP-XXXX-2, on site security personnel are to use all force deemed necessary to prevent instances from leaving the secure perimeter, including experimental measures provided by research staff.

Should containment be broken or the structure of SCP-XXXX be activated, security personnel is to evacuate on site staff. Following emergency protocols for natural disaster response, large-scale evacuation of the civilian population in the surrounding region is to be initiated.
10 rapid response scenarios for activation events of SCP-XXXX are currently in place and are to be enacted according to the consequences of SCP-XXXX's activation with approval of a O5 council member or the highest ranking security personnel available.

Description: SCP-XXXX the designation of a structure built by extraterrestrial entities in ██████, Japan, following a destructive conflict against an enemy of unknown nature.
Instruments and sensors deployed by the foundation at a distance greater than 300 meters have been unable to collect conclusive data. Visual observations both by the human eye and camera equipment appear heavily distorted and unusable for precise measurements of the structures dimensions. Energy emissions registered at this distance vary randomly between 540 and 6021 megawatts with no apparent effects of this extreme energy emission being measurable.
At a proximity of less than 300 meters, visual data of SCP-XXXX becomes consistent, depicting a quintic Calabi-Yau manifold with a diameter of 3 meters, surrounded by a framework of unknown purpose or function. The design however is remarkably similar to a primary weapon system observed by eyewitnesses during the incident that lead to SCP-XXXX's discovery.
Energy emissions at this proximity occur in form of unidentifiable radiation being emitted from the structures center as well as measurable tremors in the ground. At the same time, the air temperature begins to decline rapidly, reaching as low as 0°C/32°F. Objects entering this proximity have been observed to loose mass and being pulled by abnormal gravitational force towards SCP-XXXX. Indications of significant time dilation setting in around 100 meters distance from SCP-XXXX have been reported but research staff on site has been unable to confirm this phenomenon.
Humans entering a proximity of 300 meters or lower will experience severe nausea, panic and disorientation and will require assistance to leave the area of influence again.

The terrain within a 1.21 kilometer radius of SCP-XXXX has been heavily affected by the initial battle leading up to SCP-XXXX's discovery. Extreme heat and detonations burnt flora and fauna of the affected area, leaving the soil barren and displaced. Craters caused by explosions show a diameter between 2-10 meters. Local flora and fauna actively avoids the general proximity of SCP-XXXX. Several bird swarms have been shown signs of distress and disorientation when flying over the general area.
Contamination of the area of SCP-XXXX with an unknown threat is suspected due to the nature of SCP-XXXX's discovery, but could not be verified by the foundation as any samples taken during expeditions have been destroyed by instances of SCP-XXXX-2.

Presumably biological entities constructing and maintaining SCP-XXXX have been collectively designated as SCP-XXXX-1. The entities possess a body of two main segments and two sets of three extremities used for locomotion as well as operating. SCP-XXXX-1 stand at a height of 2.03 cm.
All instances of SCP-XXXX-1 observed wore identical suits and varying instrumentation, dedicated to specific tasks performed within the area of SCP-XXXX. No audiological or visual communication between instances of SCP-XXXX-1 has been observed, although complex coordinated behavior indicates organization and collective reaction to outside influences.

Technological artifacts associated with SCP-XXXX-1 have been collectively designated as SCP-XXXX-2.
Instances of SCP-XXXX-2 vary in size and function. All instances consist primarily of an unknown, extraterrestrial material with greater resilience than any known element or alloy. The structure of SCP-XXXX-2 surfaces appears organic, depicting scales, bones and ribbed surfaces that are colored in shades of dark sage green and black.
Instances of SCP-XXXX-2 have been observed to utilize high concentrated beams of energy and radiation, exotic particles and highly condensed energy bursts.

The primary instance of SCP-XXXX-2, designated SCP-XXXX-2-A is a small space vessel located in the center of SCP-XXXX and used as base of operation by SCP-XXXX-1. The items main body is a ovoid shape and measures 56.2 cm in length, 34.2cm in width and 24.2cm height at its widest points. Several smaller superstructures cover all sides of SCP-XXXX-2-A.
22 apertures have been observed releasing secondary instances of SCP-XXXX-2 and instances of SCP-XXXX-1. A 23rd orifice was only once observed open during the discovery, housing the vessels primary weapon system emitting directed radiation identical to readings from SCP-XXXX.
SCP-XXXX-2-A is capable of hovering and rapid movement, utilizing 32 small jets located in symmetrical positions on its surface. Instances identical in design to SCP-XXXX-2-A have been observed to be able to accelerate to relativistic speeds. Although the maximum speed and rate of acceleration of these vessels is unknown, their ability to generate the energy needed to accomplish relativistic speeds on this scale vastly exceeds any known technology. Excess energy released by accelerating vessels measured by foundation satellites reached 500 megawatts, surpassing the generating capacity of a small nuclear reactor.
Damage to SCP-XXXX-2-A's lower frontal hull that was recorded during discovery by the foundation has been repaired by the hulls regenerative capabilities within three days. This damage was inflicted during the incident immediately prior to discovery by an unknown force that instances of SCP-XXXX-2-A fought.

The foundation was able to collect samples of partially destructed instances of SCP-XXXX-2 hulls. Instruments have been unable to penetrate the surface more than 0.12 mm. The material appears to be extremely resilient against heat and radiation. The most successful attempts of penetration were conducted applying punctual kinetic energy. Plans to test the effectiveness of experimental armor piercing weaponry are ongoing. The deployment of equipment used in these tests has been permitted in case of a containment breach.
All entities within the perimeter of SCP-XXXX show no reaction to animals, humans or RC units, as long as direct contact is avoided. Any attempt of separating, containing or directly affecting any instances of SCP-XXXX-1 or SCP-XXXX-2 have provoked rapid reactions by all instances in the general area. Equipment will be rendered unusable by power surges and dismembered. Personnel will be killed instantaneously by a directed energy beam severing the █th vertebra. Bodies, if not removed, are disintegrated by instances of SCP-XXXX-2 within one hour.

Discovery: Incident report XXXX // On the 24th of July 20██ at 10:32am sightings of smoke, flames, unidentifiable lights and noises such as sonic booms and were reported to local authorities in the ██████ region, Japan. These anomalous reports were brought to the foundations attention by local embedded Agent █████ who was sent out to reassess the situation. At 11:57 am, contact to three teams of the local fire department was lost and Agent █████ requested immediate backup of a mobile task force.
At 12:29 am, rapid response teams of the foundation arrived on site. Embedded agents redirected local authorities to initiate the evacuation of civilian population in the nearby area and facilitated a wild fire to cover the situation up. Foundation forces proceeded to enter the area and found ██ units of the local fire department incapacitated. Cause of their death was an ongoing combat between at least 14 vessels accompanied by an large number of smaller entities(later identified as instances identical to SCP-XXXX-2-A and SCP-XXXX-2) and an unknown opponent.
Visual records of this opponent depict a rapidly metamorphosing swarms, dissimilar in design to all entities associated with SCP-XXXX. These swarms were capable of engulfing, damaging and destroying opposing vessels.
The vessels deployed primary weapons, identified on records as non-euclidean manifolds causing visual contortions within the swarms before fragmenting their structures and making them vulnerable to secondary weaponry. Attempts of foundation forces to interfere were met with complete disregard on both sides.

The incident ended at 13:12pm with the destruction of the last swarm. Five vessels remained, accompanied by several dozen smaller entities, disintegrating debris of destroyed vessels and carefully scanning for remains of the swarms.
Foundation personnel managed to gather █ samples of damaged hull material before being forced away by the remaining vessels, loosing nine agents in the process.

At 21:02pm, the site was cleared from debris by the remaining vessels and four of them began rapidly ascending at a accelerating rate. Attempts by foundation satellites to track the object were unsuccessful as it soon proceeded to reach relativistic speeds.
The remaining vessel released 20 unknown entities (identified on records as SCP-XXXX-1). These began setting up a precise network of smaller devices and taking ground samples, before beginning construction of what would later become SCP-XXXX.
