Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Safe/Euclid

Special Containment Procedures:

SCP-XXX should be placed in a wheelchair and kept in a standard underground holding cell at Site-████. Two (2) medical personnel (With the exception of Dr. █████████) are to enter SCP-XXX’s cell for assistance if it falls out of its wheelchair. Due to SCP-XXX’s disability, it is not considered a threat at this time. However, SCP-XXX is to be monitored by security cameras at all time, to ensure no changes of its demeanor occur.

For testing, SCP-XXX is to be provided a modestly outfitted blacksmith’s workshop, where it is to be monitored by four (4) armed guards until testing ceases.

Any instances of SCP-XXX-1 created by SCP-XXX during testing, as well as those located prior to the capture of SCP-XXX, are to be placed in a tank containing 2500 liters of Sodium Hypochlorite until all functionality ceases. Afterwards, they are to be placed in to a standard storage locker until needed for study.

Description:

SCP-XXX appears as an elderly disabled human male of Greek descent, described by test subjects and Doctors to be extremely ugly. Treated burn scarring is located across approximately 65% of the subject’s body and face. Although SCP-XXX possesses massive upper body strength, its legs have been rendered unable to function due to massive trauma, presumably caused by a fall suffered during its infancy. SCP-XXX rarely attempts to communicate with foundation personnel, but the few words it has spoken have been determined to be an unknown dialect of Ancient Greek.

Reports of SCP-XXX first originated from a small mining community located in ██████, ██████ when large quantities of raw tin and copper ore had gone missing from factories and mines around the area. Miners also reported hearing a loud, rhythmic clanging noise when journeying in to deeper caves. The foundation was called in to investigate when a resident reported theft of a bronze timepiece by, what the resident described as, “A golden mechanical man.” Reports of the foundation’s mission to capture SCP-XXX can be found in Field Log XXX-A.

SCP-XXX shows extraordinary blacksmithing ability, with the skills to craft nearly any non-electronic metal item, if first given some sort of plans to do so. SCP-XXX also seems to be able to replicate Ancient Greek weaponry perfectly, even without reference.

Instances of SCP-XXX-1 (To be classified Euclid) appear to be 1.8 meter tall partially sentient humanoid creatures made entirely of bronze. They have no facial features, and are typically shaped after Spartan Hoplite soldiers. While SCP-XXX has been observed creating them, it is unknown how they are able to move, as they are made of solid bronze.

After their creation, Instances of SCP-XXX-1 immediately begin to attempt assist SCP-XXX with its blacksmithing. This assistance comes in forms such as procuring metal for SCP-XXX, or simply providing help with activities that SCP-XXX’s disability inhibit. While not aggressive by default, they will immediately turn hostile to anyone attempting to get in their way when they are working. They have shown immense physical strength when attacking, at one point collapsing the skull of a D-Class personnel with a single punch.

Instances of SCP-XXX-1 seem to only be harmed by corrosion or melting back in to bronze alloy. If corroded, Instances of SCP-XXX-1 immediately go stiff, and become little more than bronze statues.
