SCP- 2439

SCP- 2439

Object class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-2439 does not require any particular confinement procedures, compared to other SPCs, as it can be contained in nearly any cell of any Site or Area: cement walls, with twenty centimeters of thickness, being the standard. Consistent maintenance to the current room must be given weekly, however, due to the fact that is majorly focuses on attempts of escape, by intensely ramming its body at the walls and exits, with little to no results. This irrational and seemingly counterproductive behavior must not be overlooked, since SCP-2439 is a highly agile and intelligent organism.

SCP-2439 must be sedated with the usage of methyl propyl ether before maintenance personnel may enter the room, as it will approach and attempt to kill and eat any kind of organism within its reach. Afterwards, the room will be examined for any kind of damage or change in the cell, caused by SCP-2439, which may lead to a breach.

Description: SCP-2439 appears to be a Caucasian female, estimated around eighteen years of age, wearing a white blouse and skirt, remaining clean and intact regardless of the treatment they receive. The physical features of SCP-2439 are those attributed to a highly attractive woman, which complement the seductive behavior which it originally had.

However, when SCP-2439 decides to attack its potential prey, as well as when assuming any violent behavior, it takes the form of a human-horse-like chimera: it loses its skin, showing the muscle tissue and bones beneath it. Its head loses all non-osseous organs, and the cranium takes the form that of a horse skull, which cuts off the head of the victim in a single bite to the neck. The hands are replaced by hooves, which also allow a much stronger hit on the body of the prey.

SCP-2439 was discovered in Central America, after the killing spree of 18 men in ███████████, █████████. The surviving witnesses, claim that “the woman” lured them away from the group they were joined by, so that it could attack the unsuspecting targets. The ones who were approach by it alone report that it simply proceeded to seduce them and then waited for the perfect moment to charge at them. All occurrences took place at night, being the earliest at ten pm. All of the attacks were towards men.

Ever since its detention, SCP-2439 has changed its behavior patterns: when it was first contained, SCP-2439 didn't interact in an impolite manner towards the researchers. It used its seductive skills to attempt to manipulate the scientists which would try to get information from it, most likely to murder them and escape when given the opportunity. However, any kind of trap set by SCP-2439 has been completely futile. In that state, it developed an adamant nature and has started to use brutal force in order try leave the facility, being its primary method ramming the walls of the cell, with its horse skull head. Personnel can't approach SCP-2439 while it's conscious, as it will assassinate them inmediately. Fortunately, It lacks the physical strength to accomplish major damages to its containing cells and safety measures have been applied.

SCP-2439 does not require feeding in order to remain alive. The lack of eatables or water does not weaken it, though it is still vulnerable to any harm that would also affect other living creatures. While the resistance that its body opposes to physical damage is higher than the human standard, it’s possible to handle it with the regular equipment that the facilities possess. Therefore, in order to stop the actions of SCP-2439, the main method used is sedation, but gunfire and melee weapons will also cease its movement. The damage will not remain on it, as it can grow back all of its flesh in a period between ten minutes and one hour. This advanced regeneration ability is most likely the reason why SCP-2439 can endlessly tackle the walls of the cell, since it can do it with as much force as possible without causing itself permanent damage. Even so, the source of its energy is still unknown. This also explains how it can assume its chimera form, by losing part of its flesh, yet it can turn back into its woman-like appearance for attracting a new victim.

SCP-2439’s apparent impulse to murder and eat humans is thought to be purely based around joy and not hunger. It seems to get satisfaction from tricking naive men into a false sence of security, not just from devouring them. Even though it was originally found as a “man hunter”, it has attempted to attack female scientist just as much as male, most likely due to the fact that it can no longer select its prey. This lack of flesh consumption has probably been the reason of its personality disorder.

Incident Log 2439-A:

Incident 2439-1: A team consisting of four Class D maintenance workers attempted to enter the cell containing SCP-2439, for the bi-weekly cleaning routine, the sixth week after its detention. Due to its seemingly non-violent personality, the procedure consisted of entering the room, scorting it to another location, then inspecting for any visible damages and fix them, so that afterwards, they could return it to its original cell. However, SCP-2439 attacked instantly the first worker to enter, the moment the door opened, beheading and killing her with a single bite, from SCP-2439's horse jaw. The rest of the team sedated SCP-2439 inmediatly, until it fell unconscious, requiring sixty percent more methyl propyl ether than the amount expected. SCP-2439 did not attempt to defend itself, as it could only focus on eating the flesh of the victim, allowing the rest of the team to leave unharmed.
