Special Containment Procedures: Information regarding SCP-XXXX series of events is to be suppressed outside religious sources. Known potentially accurate information from religious sources of SCP-XXXX is to be corrupted where possible and contradicted where impossible. Mobile Task Force Theta-XXXX is assigned to disinformation operations regarding SCP-XXXX.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a number of possible scenarios constituting an XK-class end of the world scenario (classified under the Jackson K-class classification system, 3rd revision), all incorporating and event commonly referred to as "The Rapture" and associated eschatological event sequences.

These events are predicted to have differing effects on two different groups of humanity. The first (referred to as "believers") will generally have more beneficial long-term effects. The second (referred to as "non-believers") will generally have less beneficial long-term effects.

How the "believer" group is determined varies by source. Largely, "believer" refers to humans who adhere to a specific, correct subset of Judeo-Christian beliefs. Which subset is correct varies significantly by source. Sometimes, the subset is wide (for instance, "all Christians"), but most often, the subset is limited to a specific community of Christians only.

Note that many adherents to Judeo-Christian beliefs (including nonhuman adherents do not believe in the literal possibility of SCP-XXXX scenarios, and of those who do, many do not believe that the events listed below are likely to specifically occur, especially not in ways that coerce or harm humanity in general (regardless of believer or non-believer status). It is unclear how or whether SCP-XXXX scenarios would affect these adherents, due to extreme variation in sources.

Likely events involved in SCP-XXXX scenarios:

"The Rapture": Takes place either before, during, or near the end of these sequences of events. Involves either mass disappearance of believers from everywhere on Earth (with their souls and possibly bodies transitioned to heaven), or for believers to rise bodily into the sky to meet a supernatural figure identifying itself as Jesus Christ.
Mass alteration of human behavior by unknown means, causing non-believers to act in ways considered particularly cruel or immoral (near-loss of parent-child attachment, generalized lack of empathy, urge to harm or kill other humans), as well as significant loss of intelligence with regards to future action ("hardening of hearts").
"The Tribulation": Mass torture and killing of all remaining humans on Earth (usually but not always excluding believers) via supernatural intervention over a period of seven or more years. This includes plagues, earthquakes, poisoning of water sources, and dangerous anomalous creatures introduced to the ecosystem.
"The Second Coming": Arrival on Earth by one or more supernatural beings, one or all identifying themselves as deities, and at least one identifying itself as Jesus Christ. Direct killing of most remaining non-believers by divine intervention.
Destruction or alteration of the moon, sun, and stars, either directly or via mass perception shifts.
"A New Heaven And A New Earth:" Destruction and reconstitution of the Earth, constituting an SK-Class Dominance Shift in which a deity or deities control most or all aspects of human life on Earth, and Earth itself is transformed beyond recognition. Only believers are allowed to populate the Earth.
Death of remaining non-believers. Eternal torture of all non-believers.

The precise likelihood of any particular SCP-XXXX event series taking place is unknown. Whether any SCP-XXXX event series will take place is also unknown. Exact triggers of these events are unknown (and may vary).

Whether the possibility of these events taking place indicates the truth of associated religious beliefs (such as the existence of God), or merely a possible extension of other anomalies (such as a branch of Judeo-Christian cultists using anomalous means to reshape reality) is unknown.

Other information on SCP-XXXX requires the Special Access Program "Domitian-2000" and is classified Level 4.

Some SCP-XXXX-1-C compounds have been successfully reverse-engineered; components that do not exist in the natural world may be extracted from unconscious SCP-XXXX-1 entities.

SCP-XXXX-1-C effects have many variations, some of which change over time and some of which remain consistent but vary in degree of effect (notably, most effects were approximately 50% at the beginning of SCP-XXXX events, and increased to 100% by the end of SCP-XXXX events). SCP-XXXX-1-L superficially resemble very large Schistocerca gregaria (the desert locust) and refer to themselves as locusts when communicated with by Foundation personnel. However, on closer examination, their bodies (while winged) are shaped like horses (but with wings and exoskeleton resembling those of locusts, and possessing six legs). Their heads appear human, with long hair and sharp teeth resembling lions' teeth. Each of them wear iron breastplates and armor of unknown material on their wings (which does not interfere with function), and wear crowns of an unknown gold-like material. They possess a scorpion-like tail, which delivers stings that deliver intense pain and additionally confer immortality on their victims for as long as the effects last.

SCP-XXXX-1-L will not attack fundamentalist Protestant Christians under any circumstances. Due to the effects of SCP-XXXX compounds, no human on Earth converted to Christianity to avoid being targeted, during the five-month time period in which SCP-XXXX-1-L were active.

9/26/2011 - 9/29/2011: SCP-XXXX-1-H-100 is killed by an unidentified assassin. After three days of his body lying in state, he spontaneously reanimates, and declares himself to be God. He grants his right-hand man (SCP-XXXX-1-Q) reality-bending powers. SCP-XXXX-1-Q animates a statue of SCP-XXXX-1-H-100, and gives it the ability to kill anyone who does not worship SCP-XXXX-1-H-100.
9/30/2011: SCP-XXXX-1-H-100 travels to Jerusalem and ritually desecrates the Temple by sacrificing a pig in its inner sanctum and splashing its blood on the altar. Negative Israeli reaction causes SCP-XXXX-1-H-100 to break the peace treaty with Israel and withdraw his protection from the country, instead placing it under military occupation.

Due to the effects of SCP-XXXX compounds, human members of the army compulsively blaspheme God during the hailstorm.

3/30/2015: SCP-XXXX-0 finally makes an appearance on Earth, identifying itself variably as God, as Jesus Christ, and related monikers. SCP-XXXX-0 leads an army of SCP-XXXX-1-A instances (identified as angels; humanoid in appearance and capable of their physical form), though the army does not take any action. SCP-XXXX-0 easily destroys the remaining Earth's population (besides Foundation members) and SCP-XXXX-1 instances that are not allied with SCP-XXXX-0 (notably SCP-XXXX-H-100).

Notably, during these events, SCP-XXXX-0 opens portals to two extra-dimensional planes of its own creation. This allows Foundation agents to enter these planes, using devices to prevent immediate detection. Anomalous elements from XXXX-Gamal and XXXX-Dalath, in combination with technology from Thaumiel devices such as [DATA EXPUNGED] allow Foundation researchers to quickly develop rudimentary containment devices for SCP-XXXX-0 and other SCP-XXXX entities, while SCP-XXXX-0 marches its army across the Middle East and destroys the remaining world population through various anomalous means.

XXXX-Gamal is an extradimensional location identified by SCP-XXXX entities as "Heaven". It is now the location of Area-███-Gamal.

XXXX-Gamal is a extensive plain with no known outer boundaries, though most of its features are located in a singular area. An undetermined light source brightly illuminates the entire area. It was formerly populated by many instances of SCP-XXXX-1-A ("angels") as well as large numbers of altered humans. A city is located on a mountain in the center of the populated area, designed largely from a translucent gold-like substance and various precious stones. Located inside is a massive white throne, which is the source of a large river of a clear water-like substance. A fruit-bearing tree of unidentified species is located in the center of the river. SCP-XXXX entities refer to these as the "river of water of life" and the "tree of life". Their anomalous properties [DATA EXPUNGED]

Humans inside XXXX-Gamal appear to account for all members the world's "Raptured" population, as well as any fundamentalist Protestant Christians who appeared to die during subsequent SCP-XXXX events, and [DATA EXPUNGED] These humans are barely conscious, and are in a constant state of euphoria. Sexual organs have wilted and withdrawn into their bodies (these organs had to be partially removed and re-grown later). [DATA EXPUNGED]

XXXX-Dalath is an extradimensional location identified by SCP-XXXX entities as "Hell." It is now the location of Area-███-Dalath.

SCP-XXXX-0 is an entity comprised of three distinct parts that may act independently or in concert with one another.

SCP-XXXX-0-A typically appears as an old, powerfully built man of European descent with long white hair and a full beard. SCP-XXXX-0-A claims to be God the Father.

SCP-XXXX-0-B typically appears as either a man in his thirties of (variably) European or Middle-Eastern descent, with a small beard and long brown hair, a male lion, or a male sheep. SCP-XXXX-0-B claims to be Jesus Christ.

SCP-XXXX-0-C typically appears as either a nearly invisible entity of humanoid shape, or a white dove. SCP-XXXX-0-C claims to be the Holy Spirit.

All three entities claim to cumulatively make up the Judeo-Christian God.

All three entities are permanently kept under sedation. Despite this, they still occasionally are able to act.

SCP-XXXX-0 are able to communicate via apparent telepathic means with personnel within approximately 1 km radius of their containment chamber, despite their sedation, but generally choose not to. Telepathic contact may be blocked with devices designed by Foundation researchers based on studies of SCP-XXXX-2.

All elements of SCP-XXXX-0 are also able to telepathically communicate with certain humans located anywhere in the world, based on criteria that is not immediately apparent. Most humans with whom contact has been verified identify as members of the Christian religion, and most of that sub-group identify as evangelical Protestant or fundamentalist Protestant Christians. Thus far, SCP-XXXX has not been able to convey any coherent message [DATA EXPUNGED]

Not all contacted subjects (even if they identify as Christian, or evangelical) believe that this contact is coming from their God. Full ramifications of this are as of yet unclear.

SCP-XXXX-0 does not appear to have any connection to SCP-343, SCP-239, SCP-████-2, SCP-████, SCP-2000-████, entity LTE-████-[REDACTED] documented in SCP-GOC Joint File 8-1762, nor any of the other entities claimed to be some version of the God of Abrahamic tradition.

SCP-XXXX-0 continually adapts to sedation compounds, rapidly developing temporary immunity. This necessitates the cycling noted in the containment procedures.

If containment procedures begin to fail by any percentage, it is extremely likely that SCP-XXXX-0 will break containment within days.
