Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is currently stored in Site-77. SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a room with humidity of no more than 20% to prevent excessive rusting and should not be kept in a room smaller that 10 m x 13 m x 4 m. It should be maintained every one (1) month for general servicing and rust removal. Its room should be guarded by least two (2) armed guards at any time to prevent unauthorised access and usage. Testing of SCP-XXXX requires the approval of at least two (2) level 3 personnel.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a Mitsubishi A6M2 (Model 21) long-range fighter aircraft used by the Imperial Japanese Navy during World War 2 from 1940 - 1945. The wing span, length and height is 12 metres, 9.06 metres and 3.05 metres respectively. Majority of its fuselage is navy green, with yellow on the wings and a large red dot bordered with a white circle on the centre of the fuselage.

SCP-XXXX's anomalous properties manifest when it reaches speeds exceeding ███ km/h. At this speed, the plane will appear to [REDACTED] before disappearing completely. In 89% of instances, the plane will go back in time, however, there is a 11% chance that the plane will go forward in time. There is no apparent factor in the plane choosing to go forward or backward in time, it appears to be completely random. SCP-XXXX is able to be powered with regular diesel fuel.

SCP-XXXX-1 is a ██-year-old Japanese male and was observed to be the pilot of the plane. When the plane stopped working and started falling directly towards The ███████ Airfield for unknown reasons (presumed to be the plane running out of fuel), SCP-XXXX-1 committed the traditional Japanese "seppuku" after the plane landed with a bayonet before he could be detained for further interview. SCP-XXXX-1 is currently stored in Site-77 cryogenic facility. The material of the uniform, the design of the bayonet and the material of the name tag sewn on the uniform all date back to the early 1940s. The name on the tag and DNA analysis of the blood on the bayonet all confirm SCP-XXXX-1 to be ███████ ██-████, reported MIA by the Imperial Japanese Navy on ██/██/1943.

Recovery: SCP-XXXX was sighted over the ███████ Airfield near ████████, ████████████, England on ██/██/14. SCP-XXXX-1 did a successful emergency landing, thus preserving majority of the plane in workable conditions. Mobile Task Force Stigma-9 ("Valkyries") was sent to the location of the anomaly to recover the plane. CCTV footage recovered from the control tower and witness accounts revealed it to have killed himself via "seppuku" (See above). All witnesses were then given Class A amnestics and CCTV footage is confiscated. CCTV footage is currently stored in Site-15 low value storage and is available to all level-3 personnel and above.

Footnotes: Due to the lack of D-class personnel with Piloting skills, Assistant Researcher ████ was asked to help with the test. One (1) Medical team as well as one (1) technician team was on standby in event of unforeseen circumstances.
Procedure: ████ was told to operate SCP-XXXX at ███ km/h at an altitude of ██ km above sea level.
Result: 5 minutes before commencement of experiment, a plane identical to SCP-XXXX (know known as SCP-XXXX-2) materialised exactly ██ km above experiment location. When the plane landed, a personnel exactly identical to Assistant Researcher ████ emerged from SCP-XXXX-2 (know known as SCP-XXXX-2-1). SCP-XXXX-2-1 reported that he was Assistant Researcher ████ from fifteen (15) minutes in the future. The present ████ was told to follow the procedure he was told to do. SCP-XXXX, carrying Assistant Researcher ████, promptly [REDACTED] and disappeared exactly fifteen (15) minutes later. SCP-XXXX-2-1 proved to be identical to Assistant Researcher ████ in both personality and general knowledge of an Assistant Researcher, and displayed no anomalous properties.
