SCP-XXXX in containment.

Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is currently contained in a standard Site-1274 climate controlled storage locker, with the temperature of it's interior dimensions to be maintained below 47°C.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a small piece of obsidian, that bares anomalous properties when exposed to a temperature over 69°C. SCP-XXXX will begin to sublimate into a thick, black, smoke. The smoke will emit a small explosion and begin to form into a humanoid shape, at which point it will begin to show signs of sentience. From this point, it will be designated as SCP-XXXX-1.

SCP-XXXX-1 is initially docile, until a living organism comes within 3m of SCP-XXXX-1, at which point it will begin to direct a focused ray towards the organism, with approximately 202°C. It will continue to project this heat for approximately one minute. After the organism has been killed, SCP-XXXX will begin to emit 176.667°C until the body of the organism has been disintegrated.
