GOI-425 Aperture Science
Aperture Science (hereby designated GOI-425) is an underground complex located in an abandoned salt mine in ████████. The facility is currently considered abandoned by the Foundation despite the appearance of upkeep. The facility is currently controlled by SCP-XXXX a sapient A.I. who maintains the facility and continuously conducts "tests".
GOI-425 was founded in 194█ by Cave Johnson (now deceased) as a non-anomalous shower curtain manufacturer under the name Aperture Fixtures with contracts for the U.S. Military. In 194█ Cave Johnson changed the company to Aperture Science Innovators and began developing and constructing anomalous objects. These include SCP-XXXX also known as the "Portal Gun", SCP-XXXX an anomalous neurotoxin, SCP-XXXX the Counter-Heimlich maneuver and many others, the full list can be found here.
Currently Site-425 is located on the surface above the underground complex with the dual goals of suppression of public knowledge of GOI-425 as well as research and containment of SCPs found in the facility.
