The Playroom

Item #: SCP-n/a
Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: As the nature of SCP- n/a has caused many separate entities to come into existence, their Special Containment Procedures shall be listed separately for clarity sake.

General Procedures: The age range of 18-65 is classified as a death age when in the presence of any instances of SCP- n/a -1-a or SCP- n/a -2-a. No personnel of this age are to interact with SCP-3367-1-a or any instances of SCP- n/a -2-a without an 05 majority vote approving such a procedure.
When a subject of the death age enters SCP- n/a -1 or SCP- n/a -2 they are to stripped of all belongings including clothing before entering. A reminder for onsite staff, this is not a humiliation tactic, any further reports of subjects being belittled whilst in the nude will be met with harsh consequences. No subjects, no matter what age, with an implant are permitted entrance into SCP-3367-1 or SCP- n/a -2 under any circumstances.

As both SCP- n/a -1-a and the instances of SCP n/a -2-a show no desire to leave SCP- n/a -1 and SCP- n/a -2 respectively, minimum security is required to keep them there. For SCP- n/a -1 both entrances are to be locked by chains and a military grade padlock and a standard double airlock is to be used for personnel gaining access to the research area. For SCP- n/a -2 a standard double airlock is to be used to secure the entrance into Cell A and B.

Protocol 29-31: In the event that a secured, non-sentient object should need replacement a team of no less than 5 maintenance workers are to be brought onsite to preform procedure n/a -29-31. Once procedure n/a -29-31 is preformed the maintenance team is to leave the site. In the event the procedure 3367-29-31 is preformed inside SCP- n/a -1, procedure n/a -30-31 must also be performed simultaneously.

Procedure n/a -29-31: A team consisting of 5 maintenance workers and 2 armed guards are to enter SCP- n/a -1/SCP- n/a -2. They are remove the broken/damaged items as quickly as possible. While the maintenance workers remove the broken item/s the armed guards must keep time of how long the team has been inside SCP- n/a -1/SCP- n/a -2. The team must evacuate before the 5-minute mark no matter what, along with any foreign items brought with them. If any foreign items are left behind (especially inside SCP- n/a -1) the individual responsible will be punished severely. The team will repeat this process until the item/s are removed successfully. When replacing these items, they must be bolted to the surface they are attached to and those bolts welded in place. In the case of electrical appliances all electrical work must be completed before bolting and welding are to commence.

Procedure n/a -30-31: In the event an essential item is in need of repair/replace inside SCP- n/a -1 every available researcher over the age of 65 is to distract SCP- n/a -1-a by requesting it to build items. Researches distracting SCP- n/a -1-a are to be very persistent and do everything possible to make sure SCP- n/a -1-a does not see any maintenance workers or guards that are preforming Procedure 29-31. In the case that SCP- n/a -1-a becomes aware of the maintenance crew or armed guards all personnel distracting SCP-3367-1-a are to remain calm and stay still. The armed guards are to evacuate the maintenance crew and themselves as quickly as possible. Deadly force is authorized in this event to keep SCP- n/a -1-a at bay. In the event SCP- n/a -1-a causes a fatality the body is to be removed before 5 minutes have passed.

Site n/a -A: Site n/a -A is to be secured by a 10m high electrified chain-link fence 15 m away from each side of SCP- n/a -1. At least 25 armed guards disguised as security officers are to patrol Site n/a-A’s perimeter at all times. Guards are to be armed with the following, a standard issue P90 submachine gun, a Glock 45 sidearm, 2 flash bangs, a single standard issue shrapnel grenade and a flashlight. Deadly force is to only be used in the case of a containment breach, weapons are to only be used on trespassers as an intimidation method. In the event any civilians attempt to break into Site n/a -A they are to be escorted from the premises and held until local law enforcement comes to collect them. It should be noted that most trespassers are minors as it has become a custom in [DATA EXPUNGED] for adolescent boys to break into Site n/a -A as a rite of passage. If a trespasser sees any classified material they are to be given a class one amnesic, escorted from Site n/a -A and held until local law enforcement arrives to collect them.

In the unlikely event of a containment breach any onsite personnel above the age of 65 are to attempt to calm SCP- n/a -1-a while all personnel in danger of harm evacuate. If SCP- n/a -1-a does not calm down the onsite personnel whom holds the highest rank is to call in a 33-21 distress call to Site 82 and Site n/a -B. In the event SCP- n/a -1-a does calm down all personnel above the age of 65 are to lull SCP- n/a -1-a back inside SCP-3367-1.
The inside of SCP- n/a -1 is to be monitored by a large 5m x 10x viewing window constructed of 1 way, reinforced, bullet-proof glass. Onsite researchers are to observe SCP- n/a -1-a’s movements and behaviour at all times. If any unusual behaviour is observed it is to be recorded and reported to the highest ranking official immediately

Site n/a -B: Site n/a -B is located on the [DATA EXPUNGED] floor of Site 82. Site n/a -B is to be used to house Cell A and Cell B for the containment of SCP-3367-2 and any instances of SCP- n/a -2-a. There is to be a small 3m x 5m security station attached to Cell A by a 1m x 1m window made of reinforced, bullet proof glass. Inside the security station there is to be a minimum of 2 researchers above the age of 65, 2 security guards and 1 armed guard at all times. Researchers are to observe and record all details about the movement and behaviour displayed by any active instances of SCP- n/a -2-a. If an unusual behaviour is observed it is to be recorded and reported to Site 82’s Director. SCP-3367-0-1 through to 0-5 are to be kept inside the security station on Dr. Blank’s desk by the request of Dr. Blank.

Cell A: Cell A is a standard sized concrete cell. It is to have a 1m x 2m steel table placed in the centre of the room using procedure n/a -29-31. Cell A is to also have one over head lamp fastened to the ceiling using procedure n/a -29-31. Cell A is to be secured using a standard double airlock. Inside the airlock there is to be a set of lockers used for the storage of test subject’s personal items. If a test subject is pronounced diseased due to testing inside Cell A their belongings are to be disposed of by mean of the onsite incinerator. Cell A is to be used to contain both SCP- n/a -2 and any instances of SCP- n/a -2-a.

Cell B: Cell B is a 10m x 5m storage room used for the housing of instances of SCP- n/a -2-a after their testing is completed. Instances of SCP- n/a -2-a are to be held until they cease all signs of life. No more than 4 instances of SCP- n/a -2-a are to be held at once as this will most certainly cause a repeat of incident Confractico-3367-1. Once an instance of SCP- n/a -2-a is pronounced “dead” they are to be disposed of by the onsite incinerator. Personnel may request to keep an instance of SCP- n/a -2-a after testing for personnel use if permission is granted by an onsite supervisor.

Description: As the nature of SCP- n/a has caused many separate entities to come into existence, their descriptions shall be listed separately for clarity sake.

SCP- n/a -0-1 through to 0-5: SCP- n/a -0-1 through to 0-5 are a collection of 5 small, metal toy cars with the same markings as those of the race cars used by the company known as Nascar. To the knowledge of the Foundation SCP- n/a has no connection to Nascar or any employees of Nascar. As of the time of the writing of this report the original 5 instances of SCP- n/a are classified as neutralized as all unusual properties of SCP- n/a -0-1 through to 0-5 have been eliminated. Before neutralization SCP- n/a -0-1 through to 0-5 were fully sentient, having the ability to drive themselves around at approximately 5 km/h. SCP- n/a -0-1 though to 0-5 displayed cognitive abilities that of average intelligence, they were estimated to have an IQ of 20-30 but is impossible to accurately measure as SCP- n/a -0-1 through to 0-5 displayed no ability to communicate.

SCP- n/a -0-1 through to 0-5 were able to understand speech, follow instructions and consciously taunt personnel by shaking the rear of their chassis. However, this playful behaviour was only displayed when around a living being outside the death age. When SCP- n/a -0-1 through to 0-5 came into contact with a living being of the death age they would attempt to kill them by getting underneath the victim’s feet to trip them. If this was successful SCP- n/a -0-1 who was assumed to be their leader would attempt to enter the windpipe of the victim and choke them to death. SCP- n/a -0-1 through to 0-5 unlike most SCPs does not only attack humans, any living being who is considered an adult in relation to their species will be attacked. If a being that can be considered a child or elderly came into contact with SCP- n/a -0-1 through to 0-5, SCP- n/a -0-1 though to 0-5 would display their playful behaviour and would actively attempt to play with the individual.
SCP- n/a -0-1 through to 0-5 was only able to exist inside of the area were they first gained sentience, that room being SCP- n/a -1. When SCP- n/a -0-1 through to 0-5 was removed from SCP- n/a -1 it ceased all signs of sentience after 1 hour away from SCP- n/a -1. Any attempts by personnel to regain SCP- n/a -0-1 through to 0-5’s sentience failed, they are now no more than toy cars.

SCP- n/a -1: SCP- n/a -1 is a 20m x 40m x 7.5m warehouse used for storage located in [DATA EXPUNGED]. SCP- n/a -1 is believed to be where SCP- n/a -0-1 through to 0-5 were originally created but this is not known for sure. SCP- n/a -1 holds the ability to give inorganic objects or non-sentient objects sentience. After 5 minutes of being inside SCP- n/a -1 any object that lacks sentience will gain sentience, these objects are known as SCP- n/a -1-a. Any objects created inside SCP- n/a -1 still maintain their original properties. Apart from sentience and the ability to move objects given sentience inside SCP- n/a -1 do not gain any other unusual properties. However, any object that is implanted inside the walls, ceiling or floor of SCP- n/a -1 will not gain sentience. Creating new instances of SCP- n/a -1-a is now strictly prohibited and any personnel caught doing so will be court marshalled.

SCP- n/a -1-a: SCP- n/a -1-a is a collection of an estimated 20,000,000 individual LEGO bricks. The bricks vary in shape and size, ranging from small pieces used for technical builds to large flat pieces used for foundations. This large variety of LEGO bricks allows for SCP- n/a -1-a to construct itself into very large and complex beings such as; a large 10ft tall humanoid with a fully a functioning semi-automatic weapon, a cannon, an army of 20-30 humanoids with blunt weapons and a huge pair of hands capable of lifting a fully grown adult human with ease. All of SCP- n/a -1-a’s forms are still susceptible to damage, still maintaining the normal properties of LEGO. It should be noted that SCP- n/a -1-a can create seemingly anything it wants with enough practice.

SCP- n/a -1-a has displayed the cognitive ability of an average adult human. Being able to communicate, think on a higher level than that of an animal (high order think, abstract thinking etc.) and be able to complete complex tasks. This high level of intelligence makes SCP- n/a -1-a extremely dangerous as it can and has developed hunting strategies (see incident report 3367-1.) SCP- n/a -1-a can adapt quickly to a new threat when encountered, being able to quickly counter any new weapons, attack strategies or defence strategies. As of the time of the writing of this report, all testing with SCP- n/a -1-a is to be suspended.

When interacting with children or the elderly SCP- n/a -1-a will act differently depending on whether the subject is a child or of elderly age. When interacting with a child a portion of SCP- n/a -1-a will go into a dormant state for the child to build with while the remaining portion will become one big mound and move about the room to make sure the child is safe. If SCP- n/a -1-a notices the child is struggling with building it will offer assistance. Once a build is complete that object will act independent of SCP- n/a -1-a and will also play with the child. These creations (aka SCP- n/a -1-b) show no significant signs of intelligence, acting like a pet for the child who built it. Once the child has left SCP- n/a -1, SCP- n/a -1-a will store SCP- n/a -1-b in a safe area using what appears to be human sized hands to pick up any creation. SCP- n/a -1-a can have as many hands as it can build at once, with the highest recorded being 48 when a 16-year-old test subject built a large rocket. If the child does not return within 2 weeks SCP- n/a -1-a will dismantle the creation and add it back to its own mass.

When interacting with an elderly subject SCP- n/a -1-a acts as a carer for the subject, making anything the subject desires. Over the blank years that testing has commenced SCP- n/a -1-a has learned to construct a large variety of objects such as; a rocking chair, a table, a mug, a pool table, a working scaled down car, a catapult (fully scaled), a bed, a couch and a [REDACTED]. Unlike with the child subjects, SCP- n/a -1-a will not keep any objects it builds for elderly subjects but it does get better at constructing the object each time it is requested. Subjects claimed [REDACTED] almost felt real.

It should be noted that SCP- n/a -1-a will continue to gain intelligence the longer it stays sentient.
It should also be noted that all creations and forms of SCP- n/a -1-a are entirely made of LEGO construction bricks and that LEGO has no connection with the creation of SCP- n/a.

SCP- n/a -2: SCP- n/a -2 is a standard sized concrete cell located in Site n/a -B. Before the Confractio- n/a -1 incident occurred SCP- n/a -2 was a standard holding cell (Cell A) for new arrivals of D class personnel. Due to the foundation’s ignorance of SCP- n/a’s properties the holding cell was transformed into SCP- n/a -2. SCP- n/a -2 is an identical clone of SCP- n/a -1 in terms of properties. Like SCP- n/a -1 if any non-sentient being or life form enter SCP- n/a -2 for more than 5 minutes they shall begin to gain sentience and are then classified as an instance of SCP- n/a -2-a. Any instances of SCP- n/a -2-a will still attack living beings of the death age and act peaceful towards children and the elderly. After being removed from SCP- n/a -2, SCP- n/a -2-a will cease all signs of sentience or life. The time this takes varies depending on the object, time taken ranges from 10 minutes to 6 months.

When 5 or more instances of SCP- n/a -2-a (or instances of SCP- n/a -1-a) is introduced into an empty room for more than 2 hours that room will gain all the same properties of SCP- n/a -1 and SCP- n/a -2. In this event this room shall be renamed as SCP- n/a -3. This knowledge was not known to the foundation prior to the Confractio- n/a -1 incident.

SCP- n/a -2-a: SCP-3367-2-a are sentient beings created by SCP- n/a -2. When an instance of SCP- n/a -2-a gains sentience it will go through the stages of cognitive development similar to that of a human but at an accelerated rate. Although not all objects develop fully, development of cognitive abilities in instances of SCP- n/a -2-a is not effected by the type of object but instead the object itself. (See Report Log n/a -1-15)

Stage 1 – Sensorimotor Stage (infancy): Instances of SCP- n/a -2-a will have a limited understanding of the world and objects around them. In this stage instances of SCP- n/a -2-a will begin to learn of any abilities they possess and of what is and isn’t a threat. Instances of SCP- n/a -2-a will act aggressively towards beings of the death age from the moment they gain sentience. Instances of SCP- n/a -2-a will attempt to find a fully developed instance of SCP- n/a -2-a for protection and guidance.

When interacting with a child in this stage most instances are seen to go into a docile state, going limp or staying still. They will stay in this state until the child leaves the room. When interacting with an elderly being instances of SCP- n/a -2-a in the infancy stage will follow around the being around like a pet. SCP- n/a -2-a will attempt to get on the elderly subject’s lap. It should be noted this happens no matter the size of an instance of SCP- n/a -2-a.

When interacting with a subject of the death age instances of SCP- n/a -2-a will attack in an unorganized manner, usually simply charging at the subject to knock them over. To this date there has only been one case of an infant instance of SCP- n/a -2-a successfully killing a subject. Infancy lasts roughly 1 week.

Stage 2 – Pre-operational stage (early childhood): Most instances of SCP- n/a -2-a will make it to this stage with ease. Instances of SCP- n/a -2-a will begin to have a better understanding of the world around them and personality traits begin to develop.

Instances of SCP- n/a -2-a will now no longer go docile in the presence of a child if the instance is accompanied by a fully developed instance of SCP- n/a -2-a. Although behaviour around the elderly remains the same (Instances of SCP- n/a -2-a in this stage of a large size should be kept away from the elderly.)

When interacting with a subject of the death age the strategies used by instances of SCP- n/a -2-a become slightly more developed. They may start to produce vocalisations if they are able to so to intimidate subjects before charging. Although most subjects report this to be “cute” more than it is intimidating. Childhood can last from 2 weeks to 2 months.

Stage 3 – Concrete operational stage (early adolescents): About half of all instances of SCP- n/a -2-a make it to this stage. Instances of SCP- n/a -2-a do not go through any obvious signs of puberty but they will start to distance themselves from fully developed instances of SCP- n/a -2-a.

When interacting with child subjects, instances of SCP- n/a -2-a will actively play with the child by acting out scenes that the child creates. At this stage SCP- n/a -2-a has no imagination of its own and will simply follow the commands given by the child, despite this instances of SCP- n/a -2-a for the most part seem to enjoy themselves whilst doing this.

When interacting with elderly subjects, behaviour is roughly the same except instead of playing with the subject, instances of SCP- n/a -2-a will attempt to assist the subject and perform tasks for the subject. Again instances of SCP- n/a -2-a in this stage lack any sort of individual thought, relying on the instructions of the subject to complete tasks.

When interacting with a subject of the death age, attack strategies used by instances of SCP- n/a -2-a greatly improve and are now considered to pose a threat to human life. The instances of SCP- n/a -2-a have knowledge of military tactics such as flanking, use of terrain, surprise attacks and the most dangerous tactic know at this stage, stealth. Instances of SCP- n/a -2-a may also attack in large groups, using pack hunting strategies. Early adolescence lasts, either 6 months or is the last stage of development for 78% of instances of SCP-3367-2-a.

Stage 4 – Formal operation stage (adolescence and adulthood): Only a small portion of the instances of SCP- n/a -2-a make it to this stage. Once at this stage instances of SCP- n/a -2-a are considered fully developed and at their most dangerous. Fully developed instances of SCP- n/a -2-a will actively seek out infant stage instances of SCP- n/a -2-a and care for them, showing them how to hunt and accompanying them when interacting with a child or elderly subject.

When interacting with child subjects, instances of SCP- n/a -2-a will actively invent games and activities for the child that involve said instance of SCP- n/a -2-a. When the child subject becomes noticeably bored of the game the instance of SCP- n/a -2-a will keep making new games and activities. For the most part instances of SCP- n/a -2-a have an extremely vivid imagination, being able to create complex games that keep children entertained for hours.

When interacting with elderly subjects, instances of SCP- n/a -2-a will perform actions it seems necessary to maintain the comfort of the elderly subject. Providing themselves as foot rests or bringing them food if supplied by personnel but for the most part fully developed instances of SCP- n/a -2-a will act the same as stage 3 instances in that they will simply just follow commands.

When interacting with subjects of the death age, instances of SCP- n/a -2-a will follow a routine attack plan. Instances of SCP- n/a -2-a will first immobilise the subject by mean of tripping, entanglement, blinding etc. Then instances of SCP- n/a -2-a will attempt to kill their target by mean of strangulation, smothering, blunt force trauma and in rare occasions mutilation. When subject is killed the instances of SC- n/a -2-a will leave the corpse alone and act like nothing unusual has happened.

It should be noted that unlike the three previous stages of development this stage is where instances of SCP- n/a -2-a will work together despite being different objects. For example, a pack of playing cards will work together with a skateboard to kill a subject.

Confractio- n/a -1 Incident: On 1/5/blank a portion of SCP- n/a -1-a was collected for researching purposes. Its final destination was to be Site 64 but due to the at the time unknown properties of SCP- n/a -1-a this did not occur. A large crate containing roughly 20,000 pieces of SCP- n/a -1-a was kept in storage inside Cell A. However, when the portion of SCP- n/a -1-a arrived it had ceased all signs of life. The senior researcher in charge of all procedures involving SCP- n/a -1-a ordered the pieces be held in Cell A anyway until the planned whole site wide waste collection was to commence. After 2 hours of being held inside Cell A the portion of SCP- n/a -1-a regained signs off sentience, although it had restarted its cognitive development. As well as the portion of SCP- n/a -1-a regaining sentience every single non sentient object inside Cell A also began to gain sentience. This list provided is a record of every single instance created in the Confractio- n/a -1 incident.

-The portion of SCP- n/a -1-a
-The crate used for transportation of the portion of SCP- n/a -1-a
-The bench used for new D class personnel to sit on while awaiting a cell
-A candy bar wrapper

This event went unnoticed by personnel for 5 hours until a janitor entered Cell A to collected the portion of SCP- n/a -1-a for disposal. The janitor suffered multiple fractured ribs, a broken nose and extensive mutilations and bruises. A small team of armed guards attempted to terminate the portion of SCP- n/a -1-a but failed in doing so. The attempted termination resulted in the portion of SCP- n/a -1-a breaking containment and rampaging though the facility. The portion of SCP- n/a -1-a eventually was recaptured when it lost sentience after 1 hour of being outside Cell A.
