SCPs:
- - A flock of extradimensional Carrion Crows who exist mostly in an intangible state. They "select" a human to serve as their protective "nest," by which I mean they crows lay their eggs inside the human (the eggs are also intangible, but containend within the host's electromagnetic field).
- Things to think about:** How is the host selected? What happens when the eggs hatch (Do they kill the host or does he survive?)? If the host does survive, what are the side effects of the hatching? Do they use one human host endlessly, or do they choose a new one each time? Where did the birds come from (Artificial or natural?)?

Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: When not being tested, SCP-XXXX-A is to be kept in a Standard Storage Locker at Site-██ all times. Handling and study of the object is to be performed by male personnel only, in order to prevent accidental activation of the object’s anomalous effect. No female personnel are allowed within a three (3) meter radius of the object.
Female personnel who become accidentally exposed to SCP-XXXX-A are to be immediately escorted to the nearest medical center for an emergency abortion. The individuals are to guarded by no less than four (4) armed security staff, for the express purpose of delaying SCP-XXXX-B from reaching its intended target until the abortion procedure has been completed.
SCP-XXXX-B is to be contained within a Standard Humanoid Containment Cell at Site-██ with a single entrance leading to a reinforced hallway. This room has been outfitted to dispense 3-Quinuclidinyl benzilate in order to incapacitate the subject should it attempt to breach containment. In the event of a breach, security staff are reminded that the subject is capable of limited self-healing when not attempting to feed and are therefore authorized to use sufficient force as to delay the subject until the prey subject has given birth, at which point SCP-XXXX-B can be safely escorted back to its cell.
Description:
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: As SCP-XXXX-A cannot yet be removed from the affected area without instances of SCP-XXXX-B manifestating and extreme loss of life, Provisional Site-██ has been established to monitor the anomaly and terminate all instances of SCP-XXXX-B. On-site personnel are reminded that instances of -B are extremely hostile towards humanoids and lethal force has been authorized against them.
A 3m high electrified fence has been constructed 0.5km from the edge of town in order to limit the feeding zone of -B instances. Video surveillance cameras have been installed throughout the affected area to enable staff to monitor SCP-XXXX-A and manifestations of SCP-XXXX-B. Attempts at implanting RFI ("Radio-Frequency Identification") or PIT ("Passive Integrated Transpoder") devices into -A have lead to the spontaneous manifestation of -B instances and the deaths of all personnel involved in the surgery. Further attempts at microchip implantation have been discontinued.
Update: As of ██/██/20██, instances of SCP-XXXX-B have begun destroying security cameras and attempting to damage the fence limiting their feeding zone. Repair and replacement of damaged security cameras and fence segments is to be undertaken immediately. An engineering team is to be deployed with an armed security escort, consisting of two (2) armed D-Class personnel per SCP-XXXX-B manifestation in addition to two (2) sniper-spotter teams serving as overwatch.
Description: SCP-XXXX-A is a female Ailurus fulgens styani ("Styan's red panda"), 83cm long and weighing approximately 11.8lbs, occupying a small town 200km east of ████ ████, Alaska. Since coming to the Foundation's attention, SCP-XXXX-A has remained constant in height, weight, and age, despite ██ years having passed. The entity is also seemingly unaffected by local weather conditions and lack of proper foodstuffs, but the cause of this is unknown. The town itself occupies less than one (1) square kilometer and appears to have been abandoned in the 1930s. However, there are signs of habitation by humans from later years. Foundation archivists have been unable to locate any information regarding the settlement of the area or name of the affected area.
Once per day at exactly 3:15pm, Eastern Standard Time, SCP-XXXX-A will dematerialize over the course of one (1) second. SCP-XXXX-A will remain dematerialized until all humanoids within a 2.5km radius are dead or until ten to twelve hours have passed. The afflicted area will hereafter be referred to as the feeding zone. Once all humanoids within the feeding zone are dead or following the conclusion of twelve (12) hours, SCP-XXXX-A will rematerialize at a random location within the town1.
At the time of -A's disappearance, instances of SCP-XXXX-B will materialize over the course of one (1) second in groups of as few as █ and as many as ██. Instances of SCP-XXXX-B will materialize within approximately 3m of -A's location, prior to its disappearance, and will remain materialized for the duration of -A's disappearance. At the conclusion of this period, all instances of -B will dematerialize. This effect also extends to terminated instances in addition to blood and tissue samples taken from instances.
Instances of SCP-XXXX-B are hairless facultative bipeds, approximately 1m in length and 120lbs in weight, bearing little resemblance to currently known non-anomalous mammalian species. Autopsies perfomed on terminated instances revealed an internal structure similiar [REDACTED]. Behaviourally, instances will operate in packs lead by an alpha, easily distinguished by its increased size and/or physical scarring.
Following successful manifestation, instances of -B will attempt to locate all humanoid prey within the feeding zone. Instances will proceed to stalk and chase prey subjects over the course of a several hour hunt, indicating -B instances possess a form of prey drive. Testing has revealed that instances will only engage live prey within the feeding zone and will ignore dead prey specimens. -B's preferred method of killing prey is to disorient prey followed by damaging the jugular vein or common carotid artery leading to hypovolemic shock and death via blood loss. Once prey specimens are deceased, instances will [REDACTED] SCP-XXXX-A and dematerialize.
SCP-XXXX was brought to the Foundation’s attention when K███████ B█████, a blogger and urban historian and four other civilians uploaded footage of the town to their website ████████████████.ca on ██/██/19██. A missing persons report was filed one week later when the group failed to return home and 30 seconds of an instance of SCP-XXXX-B, accompanied by muffled audio, was uploaded to the internet2. Alaska State Troopers sent to investigate also disappeared, at which point the Foundation sent in an assessment team, which lead to the discovery of SCP-XXXX-A. The disappearances were blamed on a rabid bear. No further inquiries have been made.

Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX-1 is to be housed in 2m by 2m by 1.75m clean room in order to minimize chances of accidental exposure to SCP-XXXX-2. Research personnel attempting to harvest SCP-XXXX-2 must wear protective biohazard suits to prevent contact between SCP-XXXX-2 and the epidermis. Personnel who have suffered accidental exposure to SCP-XXXX-2 are to be continuously monitored until they begin displaying Stage 5 or Stage 6 symptoms, where they are to given Class-B amnesiacs3.
As SCP-XXXX-1 cannot yet be moved from its current location, temporary Research Site-09 has been established using standard cover story 21- “Rare Plant Species” in order study and monitor SCP-XXXX until such a time as relocation becomes feasible. Research Site-09 has become a permanent installation due to the recent discovery by Dr. ██████'s research team. Please review Addendum XXXX-A for further information. Cover story 21- “Rare Plant Species” is to be maintained.
Description: SCP-XXXX-1 is a copper statue of a winged female figure which shows signs of extreme oxidization. A copper plate at the base of the statue appears to bear a name, but is illegible due to corrosion4. SCP-XXXX-1 was found in the Black Forest of Germany and displays no anomalous properties except during instances of Event XXXX-A. During these instances, the artifact will begin to produce a viscous, black fluid from its eyes, which has been designated SCP-XXXX-2.
Event XXXX-A is triggered once per lunar cycle, approximately twelve hours before a new moon. During this time, the artifact will enter an active state, wherein it will begin to produce SCP-XXXX-2 from its eyes at a rate of five (5) mL per hour. SCP-XXXX-1 will remain in an active state until twelve hours following the peak of a new moon, whereupon it will enter a dormant state until the next instance of Event XXXX-A. The mechanism by which SCP-XXXX-2 is produced is currently unknown.
SCP-XXXX-2 is a black, viscous liquid, which appears to contain a miniscule amount dust particulates, produced by the artifact during instances of Event XXXX-A. Upon physical contact between SCP-XXXX-2 and the exposed epidermal layer of a human subject5, a small amount (no more than ½ mL) will be absorbed through the skin of the subject. Exposed subjects will then begin to progress through the following stages:
Stage 1- Exposed subjects begin displaying a fever. This stage lasts from initial exposure to roughly 3 hours post-exposure.
Stage 2- Subjects begin experiencing mild auditory hallucinations which they describe as inaudible whispers. The previous fever is still present. This stage lasts from 3 to 8 hours approximately.
Stage 3- Subjects will begin to experience more frequent auditory hallucinations, described as verbalizations in an unknown language. Subjects will also begin to experience insomnia and the fever show signs of abating. This stage lasts from 8 to 15 hours approximately.
Stage 4- Subject's fever will disappear entirely and they will begin to experience visual hallucinations described as sudden temporary changes in colour perception and momentary (1-1.5 second) glimpses of an unknown female. In addition, the previous auditory hallucinations were described as shifting between the previous unknown language and the primary speaking language of the subject. This stage lasts from 15 to 25 hours approximately.
Stage 5- Subjects enter an asymptomatic dormant state until the next instance of Event XXXX-A. No auditory or visual hallucinations occur for the duration of this stage.
Stage 6- During the next instance of Event XXXX-A, all subjects currently experiencing Stage 5 symptoms will experience resurgent auditory and visual hallucinations, centered on the nude form of an emaciated Caucasian female with black hair, estimated by subjects to be in her late thirties. Subjects report that the hallucination will follow them regardless of spatial obstructions, but will not interact with subjects for any reason. This stage is permanent, unless treated with amnesiacs.
Subjects reported that at random intervals following the onset of Stage 6 symptoms, the hallucination would vocalize the phrase "Break the chains"6 before disappearing. At this vocalization, subjects experienced a five (5) minute period of paralysis, during which they were unable to respond to outside stimuli. At the conclusion of this period, all subjects experienced a temporary psychotic break, wherein they began exhibiting persecutory delusions, querulant paranoia, and violent outbursts towards SCP-XXXX-1 and individuals perceived as protecting the artifact. This psychotic break varies in length but lasts roughly two (2) hours and no satisfactory correlation has been found between these episodes and instances of Event XXXX-A. These episodes will continue to occur, unless the subject is administered amnesiacs or suffers severe neurological damage, both of which have been shown to cure subjects of the effects of exposure to SCP-XXXX-27. Further information on the effects of SCP-XXXX-2 has been recorded in Interview Log XXXX-1.
Recovery Log: SCP-XXXX-1 and -2 came to the attention of the Foundation when an embedded agent in the Drug Enforcement Administration flagged a new halluciongenic drug, colloquially known as "Angel Tears," as being potentially anomalous. The Foundation was formally requisitioned using [REDACTED] after several agents involved in the acquisition of the compound suffered from simultaneous psychotic breaks, now believed to be the result of exposure to SCP-XXXX-2. Leading a joint operation between the D.E.A. and the Foundation, Agents ███████ and ███ traced the source of the unknown ingredient to Germany and local crime lord ████ █████████. During interrogation, ████ provided the Agents with directions to the source and was then given to the D.E.A. and extradited back to America. Using this information, Overwatch approved a recovery team and SCP-XXXX-1 was promptly located █.█ km from ██████████ in the Black Forest. Research Site-09 was established on ██/ ██/19██.
Incident Report XXXX-1: On ██/ ██/19██ a total solar eclipse occured over Europe at ██:██am. During the eclipse, seismographs at Research Site-09 logged a localized microearthquake measuring 2.0 on the Richter magnitude scale. All test subjects exposed to SCP-XXXX-2 exhibiting Stage 5 symptoms during the eclipse began experiencing migraines, nausea, photophobia, phonophobia, emesis, epistaxis, and posterior hemorrhaging of the nasolacrimal duct. Subjects then proceeded to self-terminate via [REDACTED]. Out of ██ subjects, only █ deaths were prevated. The remaining test subjects after Incident XXXX-1 experienced marked increases in aggresion and began displaying symptoms characteristic of the covetous subtype of antisocial personality disorder. Surviving subjects also expressed a strong desire for freedom from Foundation care. The subjects were sedated and moved to Site-██ for further study following 13 escape attempts and a resistance to amnesiacs. Further information on the this phenomenon has been recorded in Interview Log-XXXX-2.
Interviewed: D-2406, subject exposed to SCP-XXXX-2.
Interviewer: Dr. ███████, chief medical lab technician at Research Site-09.
Foreword: The following series of interviews were conducted to map out the symptoms of exposure to SCP-XXXX-2.
<Begin Log, 00:00:01>
Dr. ███████: Alright, we are now beginning the experiment. I am injecting a sample of Scip-XXXX-2 into D-2406-
D-2406: Are sure this is safe Doc?
Dr. ███████: Of course. Now hold still, this won't take but a minute. [Injects 1mL of SCP-XXXX-2 into subject's right basilic vein] And all done. We'll check back on you in an hour, and this Ecg will be monitoring your heart rate. If there's a problem an alarm will sound and we'll come running. In the meantime, you sit back and enjoy the bed rest and reruns of Survivor.
<Begin Log, 01:00:47>
Dr. ███████: Hello D-2406, how are you feeling?
D-2406: Not so hot Doc.
Dr. ███████: Lets take a look. [Begins performing a physical examination of the subject] Heart rate is well within the normal range. Looks like some slight bruising around the injection site, we'll make sure to check later to see if it worsens. Any headaches or coughing?
D-2406: No, I'm just really cold. Can you turn off the AC?
Dr. ███████: I'm afraid not, but I'll have some blankets brought in. You just have a mild fever, nothing to be worried about. I'll be sending a nurse to check on you again for the next couple of hours while I check on my other patients. If you start to feel worse let the nurse know and they'll come get me, okay?
<Begin Log, 04:21:12>
Dr. ███████: You told the nurse there was a problem?
D-2406: Yuh-yeah, I'm feeling even shittier, s-see. [Subject raises his left arm and displays tremors] And the-that's not all Doc. I'm st-starting to hear things!
Dr. ███████: [While examining the subject] Slight elevation in heart rate, but still within normal range. Bruising near the injection site is unchanged. Any pain when I touch it?
D-2406: N-no.
Dr. ███████: Alright. Now what kind of things are you hearing? Any specific words or sentences?
D-2406: No D-Doc, it's like someone's wh-whispering nearby. I c-can hear the noise but nuh-not the words.
Dr. ███████: Hmmm. I'm going to have the nurse bring in a memo pad. If you hear anything specifically I want you to write it down, okay? I'll be back in a few hours to check on you.
<Begin Log, 09:47:15>
D-2406: Doc you have to stop this, please.Dr. ███████: What's the problem?
D-2406: I think I'm starting to lose my mind! I can't even sleep now, I hear things all the time!
Dr. ███████: Interesting. What are you hearing?
D-2406: I don't know, it sounds like gibberish! But you're going to stop it right?Dr. ███████: Of course we'll stop it. But not yet. Nurse! Help restrain the patient, I'd like to get some scans of his brain.
<Begin Log, 14:59:34>
Note: The following exchange took place while Dr. ███████ was examining another patient.
D-2406: Just remember ████, she's not real. It's just a fever dream. You'll wake up and everything will be fine. [Patient continues vocalizing in this way for 4 minutes 23 seconds]
D-2406: Ohgodohgodohgod, not again. Go away! [EXPLETIVE] off! [Patients begins exhibiting signs of distress and his heart begins beating arrhythmically, triggering the alarm]
D-2406: Let me go, please! I have to get away from her! [Dr. ███████ enters the room] Doc! Doc, you gotta stop this! I keep seeing her. She's always watching me and she won't stop!
Dr. ███████: Sedate him! Dammit, this is going to skew the data.
<Begin Log, 22:12:59>
Dr. ███████: Hello D-2406, feeling better?
D-2406: Loads since I stopped seeing all the weird shit. Listen Doc, I just wanted to apologize. I know I said some pretty nasty things to you-
Dr. ███████: Perfectly alright. You weren't feeling quite yourself after all. Now, I'd like to talk to you about some of the things you said during your recent…episode.
D-2406: I don't really remember, it's all kinda one big blur.
Dr. ███████: You mentioned a woman being in the room. I want you to think back and try to describe her.
D-2406: Okay. Umm, lets see. She was white, like pale white. Almost like she hadn't been outside in a while you know? Long dark hair that covered her face. Ummm what else? Oh, she had some kind of scratches on her wrists.
Dr. ███████: Alright. I'll be sending in a sketch artist later, I'd like you to work with her to show us who you saw. But first, I'm going to do a physical and keep you here for 48 hours on observation. I just want to make sure the illness has run it's course before you go.
<Begin Log, 22:12:59>
[DATA EXPUNGED]
Note: This segment of the interview was damaged by D-2406 during his escape before it could be uploaded to a cloud server. Any attempts to recover the data lead to a thirty (30) second clip of the room where D-2406 was being held partially obscured by blood splatter and a pair of woman's legs, believed to be █████ ████████ the sketch artist, being dragged of camera.
Closing Statement: D-2406 was successfully recaptured on route to SCP-XXXX-1 with a fire extinguisher and a steel rod (obtained from breaking a chair in the surveillance booth) and administered Class-A amnesiacs. No further incidents were logged by on-site staff and D-2406 was terminated on the first of the month per routine. Scans of D-2406's brain reveal no abnormal activity. Unfortunately, the sketch and relevant entries from the memo pad were ingested by the subject during D-2406's escape. Security personnel should also be on the look out for the body of █████ ████████ which has yet to be located.
Interviewed: D-6893, one of █ test subjects who survived Incident XXXX-1.
Interviewer: Dr. ███████, doctor in charge of overseeing subjects who survived Incident XXXX-1.
Foreword: The following interview was conducted 3 months after incident XXXX-1 in order to ascertain the possible side effects of the incident on surviving subjects.
Dr. ███████: Good morning, D-6893. How are we feeling today?
D-6893: She's angry. So angry.
Dr. ███████: Who's angry?
D-6893: [unintelligble]
Dr. ███████: I'm sorry, what did you say?
D-6893: [Subject begins showing signs of distress] She's angry and trapped but I can help her. I just have to break the chains!
Dr. ███████: We going to help her and you, I promise. Now just relax-
D-6893: You're just like the rest of them! You don't care, you're just jealous of her! ! need to break the chains! [Subject begins attempting to break free from restraints]
Dr. ███████: [Turning to an orderly] Get me a sedative!
D-6893: No! Let me out! Let me the [EXPLETIVE] out! I can help her! I know I can! Please, someone help me!
Dr. ███████: [Injecting sedative into Subject's IV line] Shh, now. It's okay. Everything will be okay.
D-6893: Please… only wanted to be free…
Closing Statement: D-6893 and the other █ survivors of Incident XXXX-1 have been subcutaneously injected with a remote-tracking chip in case of escape. The subjects have made 12 attempts to escape since the incident and treatment with amnesiacs has proven ineffective. Subjects continue to express aggression when questioned about the identity of the female entity they believe to be trapped.
Addendum XXXX-A: On ██/ ██/19██, shortly after the discovery of SCP-XXXX-1, a research assistant tasked with harvesting SCP-XXXX-2 accidently made contact with the copper plate on the base of SCP-XXXX-1. The subsequent sound seemed to indicate that SCP-XXXX-1 was a hollow structure, which was confirmed via x-ray scans. In light of this discovery Research Site-09 has been designated a permanent installation. Dr. ██████ hypothesizes that the source of SCP-XXXX-2 is somewhere below Research Site-09 and has requested authorization to expand the site's borders in order to allow Foundation personnel the necessary room for excavation. The request was approved but, as of ██/ ██/20██, the source of SCP-XXXX-2 has not been located.
Addendum XXXX-B: On ██/ ██/20██ a second, partially-destroyed instance of SCP-XXXX-1 was located in the Gibson Desert of Australia by Foundation agents in pursuit of an instance of SCP-███. This instance of SCP-XXXX-1 was observed to be non-functioning and produced no anomalous effect upon Event XXXX-A. The only remaining intact piece of the artifact was the base of the stature, copper plate intact. The Hebrew word "ית" was observed which, when combined with the earlier corroded text, translated to nocturne or night spirit. One analyst also noted that "לילית" also translates to [REDACTED] entity alluded to by D-6893 in Interview Log XXXX-2. It is currently unknown if there are further instances of SCP-XXXX-1 that are uncontained.
