SCP-XXXX (actual size)

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in Mt. [REDACTED] as no site currently has the parameters in size and width of walls to accommodate the subjects attempts to breach. Mt. [REDACTED] (Breaches made by SCP-XXXX cannot be observed to to debris that covers exit points immediately after breach.)

Description: SCP-XXXX is an arrowhead approximately 10.16 centimeters long and a dark beige shade. It is commonly facing away from the entrance to its containment cell, unless it is in an active stage. In its docile stage, SCP-XXXX will rest upon a boulder, about the size of a desk. After a test has activated its active stage, the arrowhead will turn upon its center to face the test subject, which is now referred to as SCP-XXXX-2. It is not know what activates SCP-XXXX active stage. The amount of time it takes for SCP-XXXX to reach active stage varies from ten seconds, to up to three hours. Upon activation, SCP-XXXX will continue to rotate so its tip so it is pointing at SCP-XXXX-2 wherever it moves through out the room. After an Indefinite time period, SCP-XXXX will launch itself from the boulder at a speed of 250 kilometers per hour at SCP-XXXX-2. In previous authorized tests, it will cut through the neck of SCP-XXXX-2, cutting all blood vessels and severing the spinal cord. SCP-XXXX-2 ceases all brain functions before hitting the floor, recorded via implants. SCP-XXXX will return back to the boulder, and remain in its active state until approximately 30 minutes after the death of SCP-XXXX-2.

Breach Habits: Without warning, SCP-XXXX will occasionally go into its active stage and will immediately point at the nearest human. After an indefinite amount of time, it will launch itself at the current location of SCP-XXXX-2. Usually, SCP-XXXX will "pick" a SCP-XXXX-2 from within Mt. [REDACTED], except for Incident 13-956-34. After travelling through around 4.82 km of rock, it will return to its boulder and revert to its docile stage.

Incident 13-956-34
Time: 16:47 Eastern Time
Date: January 5, 2004
Event:
At 16:45, SCP-XXXX spontaneously went into its active stage. From video coverage of SCP-XXXX cell, observations record that SCP-XXXX was pointing outside of the compound. In fear of breach, D-8345 was sent in to attract SCP-XXXX to himself. D-8345 put himself as to have SCP-XXXX go through him, as per orders. At 16:47, SCP-XXXX launched itself from its resting place and maneuvered around D-8345. It drilled through 2.64 km of rock to self-propel itself towards the nearby town of [REDACTED]. Recovery Team Charlie was sent out to recover SCP-XXXX-2. At the edge of town they found a deceased male in rags with a hole in his neck. They removed the deceased SCP-XXXX-2 from [REDACTED].
