SCP #- XXXX

Object class- Euclid.
Special Containment Procedures-
Specimen is to be kept in a concrete cell, 12 m x 12 m, with 15 centimeter walls. Concrete must be checked daily for blast marks. Subject must be provided with required food, but is incapable of drinking. However, high pressure water hoses are to be kept within 4 meters of cell.

Description.
Subject is a male, of undetermined ethnicity. He is 1.78 meters high and weighs about 30 kilograms, due to lack of moisture and correct nutrition. Subject is 29 years of age and reported to Dr [REDACTED] of Birmingham, England, approximately 3 years ago. He reported an “itching” sensation, and it’s skin was sore and rough. The subject is constantly engulfed in fire, and can burn at about 400 degrees Celsius. Thus, subject needs to be kept isolated from other SCPs, due to risk of fire damage. The fire seems to intensify in states of rage and cool down in a more neutral mood. This condition became apparent after 2 days from his initial containment, as he started noticing the plants bursting into flames as he got angry.

Addendum:
Subject appears constantly friendly with the D-class personnel, but indifferent to everyone else.
Dr [REACTED] has attempted communication with the subject multiple times, to no avail. Subject speaks fluent English, however, he reported feeling uncomfortable talking about his “itch”.
It has become apparent that the subject does not see the flames, and can only feel a slight itching.

Permission to test on SCP XXXX denied, subject refused to co-operate in the event of psycho-analysis, due to previous tests, including incident XXXX-A and XXXX-B
Subject has never attempted escape, and shows no sign of future attempts. However, subject XXXX is incredibly dangerous, due to his unpredictability. In the event of a containment breach, XXXX must be moved to Site [DATA EXPUNGED]

Subject appears incapable of controlling his affliction, and may lose control after being antagonized. However, SCP-XXXX seems to use self meditation techniques to control it's anger. Suggested therapy, awaiting permission. Dr [REDACTED] attempted psycho-analysis, subject did not respond.

Why the subject can not see the fire is unknown, and he states that he has never been able to see it. The Foundation has attempted to drug his food, but to no avail.
The fire seems to be permanently bonded to his skin, however, water (from high pressure water hoses) seems to extinguish the fire, sometimes up to 2 minuets. This may cause physical damage to the subject, and should only be done for the purpose of testing.

Other emotions have unexpected results. An induced coma saw the flames shrink to only 5 cm, and a state of elation tinged the fire blue. This is interesting, as maybe staying in a state of deep unconsciousness could help remove the fire.

Begin Log
of interview 4 between SCP XXXX and Dr [REDACTED] (henceforth known as Dr Y)
Dr Y: So, any physical change, XXXX?
XXXX: I have a name. It's [REDACTED]
Dr Y: Ok, [REDACTED], have you noticed any physical change?
XXXX: The itch is still here, if that's what you mean.
Dr Y: I can see that. You are slightly angry?
XXXX: No, i'm trying to stay calm. Hey, am I ever getting out of here?
Dr Y: When we find out what this is, and if we can stop it. For now, you remain here.
