A piece of SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: All instances of SCP-XXX must be kept in a keypad-locked container at Site-48. Outside of testing, SCP-XXXX may only be handled with the containment chamber's robotic arm to prevent accidental activation. Testing of SCP-XXXX requires the approval of two level-03 researchers. Tests outside of the allocated testing area are prohibited.

Description: SCP-XXXX refers to 17 16 (see: Test #6) pebbles of varying sizes and color.
The anomalous properties of SCP-XXXX manifest when a human (referred afterwards as SCP-XXXX-1) picks up and throws the object. When SCP-XXXX hits the ground, SCP-XXXX-1 appears to instantly teleport to its position.

While the teleportation happens instantly to outside observers, SCP-XXXX-1 still experiences the entire journey to SCP-XXXX's location in real time. For example, if the object is thrown 100 meters in a direction, SCP-XXXX-1 experiences the effects of walking a hundred meters in a quick pace. SCP-XXXX-1 does not gain any movement-enhancing abilities and must overcome the obstacles, which obstruct their path while "travelling". SCP-XXXX-1 does not retain the memory of the effect. If SCP-XXXX-1's life functions cease while "travelling", the effect immediately stops and the carcass appears at SCP-XXXX's position.

Wearing gloves does not stop the object from activating, however using automatized robotic devices do. In order to activate the effects of the object, SCP-XXXX-1 must consciously throw it; accidentally dropping, putting SCP-XXXX down or forcefully removing it from SCP-XXXX-1 does not activate the teleportation effect.
