Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a 3 m x 4 m x 3 m stable at Site-██. It is to be fed 3 kilograms of hay and given 3 liters of water per day. SCP-XXXX may be allowed outside of its stable, but must be contained within Site-██ at all times. No personnel is allowed to ride SCP-XXXX, unless authorised for testing by Head Researcher Grant.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a Dromedary camel with a camel saddle permanently attached to its back. The saddle has a locked satchel attached to it. The lock which can easily be picked if done while riding SCP-XXXX. There are lines of ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs1 on both sides of the saddle. SCP-XXXX and its items have been dated to be around 4590 years old.
X-ray tests have revealed a small box to be in the satchel, containing a gas similar in composition to the venom of the Egyptian cobra. It is thought to function as a trap. Another two objects, an ankh and a scarab charm have been found in the hump of SCP-XXXX. Attempts to remove them surgically have failed, as the charms could not be found in the hump even though they clearly show up on the x-ray scan.
The camel was discovered in ██████, Egypt, after it appeared at the local watering hole with a corpse riding it. SCP-XXXX was retrieved and the corpse sent for post-mortem analysis. All witnesses were administered with a Class-C amnestic.
Individuals attempting to pick the aforementioned lock will become permanently stuck to the saddle. Hereafter referred to as SCP-XXXX-1, SCP-XXXX-1 becomes impervious to any external stimuli (including disease, direct trauma, and otherwise lethal conditions.). No form of contact can be made with SCP-XXXX-1 until they get off the saddle via external force.
SCP-XXXX behaves like a normal Camelus dromedarius until SCP-XXXX-1 rides it, at which point SCP-XXXX will begin moving at a walking pace of around 5 kilometers per hour towards a certain direction. The walking direction differs based on where testing is, and is easily stopped by enclosing SCP-XXXX in a confined space. SCP-XXXX is capable of going around obstacles and has been observed to take the fastest and most convenient route towards its destination. Based on cross reference analysis from several tests, it has been confirmed that the camel's destination is the ██████ Pyramid in ████████.
A site has been established in the area with cooperation from the Egyptian government, under the guise of an archaeological dig site. After conducting an on-site test, it was confirmed the final destination of SCP-XXXX is a previously undiscovered chamber. A stone sarcophagus lies within the chamber, hereafter known as SCP-XXXX-2. The weight of SCP-XXXX-2 has hindered its removal for examination, requiring on-site analysis. There are two prominent holes in the lid, in which the ankh and scarab in SCP-XXXX's hump are meant to fit in.
It is theorized the chamber is the tomb of the Pharoah ██████2. Nearby hieroglyphics predict "the coming of a follower, who will trigger the process that will awaken ██████, at which point he will establish a new age of Seth"3.
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: Due to its size, a 2 kilometer square perimeter has been set up under the cooperation of the Russian government and local Foundation branches. Containment is performed on-location. No items are to be removed from SCP-XXXX unless authorized for testing by Dr.████. Only Level 4 and above personnel are allowed on site.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a submarine in Siberian tundra located in ██████, Yakutia, the Russian Federation. It resembles a Victor III class submarine, although it does not show up on the military records of neither the Russian Federation nor the Soviet Union and seems to be heavily modified.
The hull measures approximately 120x60x60 meters, not including the periscope which is a full 5 meters high when extended. Heat testing on the craft only produces negative results, but radiation tests detect streams of ionizing radiation emitted from the stern. It is unknown which form of radiation it is, as radiation spectroscopy tests have come back negative, with the radiation classified as SCP-XXXX-3. SCP-XXXX is made of an unidentified metal, which shattered a diamond drill on several occasions and classified as SCP-XXXX-2
The submarine is buried in permafrost up to the point where only the stored periscope and hatch are visible. Entry into the hatch is difficult, as it involves lifting up 100 kilograms of reinforced steel to get in. Upon entry subjects climb down a ladder in a shaft estimated to be 20 meters in height made from SCP-XXXX-2, showing no signs of rust nor decay. One staff member must be outside the submarine when individuals are inside the submarine, as the hatch will shift back into place via unknown means once unobserved by those outside the craft.
SCP-XXXX does not seem to have any form of light sources, and flashlights must be given to staff inside. Light coming in from the open hatch only reaches about 10 meters down. The landing room where the shaft is accessible from is a small room. The interior resembles a military bunker.
There are four hallways on the left and right of the room. Labels above them state "Cells"(SCP-XXXX-1-1), "Storage"(SCP-XXXX-1-2) and "Archives"(SCP-XXXX-1-3)in Cyrillic alphabet. The other hallway has no label (SCP-XXXX-1-4), with evidence that it was severely damaged. There is a door at the center does not have a label(SCP-XXXX-1-5).
SCP-XXXX-1-1 contains rows of glass cells in the walls. Despite there being no observable lights on the craft, there is a strange blue glow in most cells. The glass in each cell is too frosted to see through. There is a cell where the glass has been shattered. Inside this cell is organic residue, and there is no glow in this cell. The entire room is a long hallway of repeating glass cells, and the shattered cell only occurs once. Other cells contain several species of animals, although in a cryogenic state. About 60% of the cells contain unidentified organisms. There have been attempts to remove the other cells, but they seem to have been fused to the craft. SCP-XXXX-1-1 is the largest room in the craft, spanning several layers.
SCP-XXXX-1-2 can be described as a large storage room full with containers made of SCP-XXXX-2. Nearly all of the containers are locked with a seals of the same components as the boxes. Similar to the cells in SCP-XXXX-1-1, the containers are fused to the craft, hindering extraction or testing. The only containers open are ones labelled "Harpoons", "Temporal Shielding" and "Tranquilizer Ammunition".
SCP-XXXX-1-3 is filled with cabinets containing papers, most of them charred beyond legibility, and those that are readable display several anomalous incidents, including the Tunguska Event, several disappearances in the Bermuda Triangle, an apparent discovery of hell in ██████ and an unusually detailed report about a massive event causing the disappearance of New Zealand, with the report dated sometime in the ████ century.
SCP-XXXX-1-5 is thought to be a command room or living quarters of the owner. It is adorned with mounted animal heads, including those of extinct species and entirely new ones. Extensive water damage at ground level, with patches of frozen water occurring at the lower ends. There is a desk in the center of the room, with papers on it detailing several events, including three Soviet space programs from the Cold War and ██████, reports on a ████████████████████████, and submarine locations in ████████████. Other items include a pen holder containing various writing instruments and an animal skull appearing to be reptilian in origin. A painting behind the desk depicts ████ and a ██. A desk calendar reads ██, ██████ 2271.
SCP-XXXX-1-4 is supposedly a supply room, with containers of canned food and water tanks. Several crates of tins have been ravaged and emptied. In the center of the room there is a large scorch mark and several pieces of evidence that point to a temporal distortion event occurrence in the room. What can be referred to as "temporal residue" is found in the room, appearing to be temporal openings to when the temporal distortion occurred, with this phenomena known as SCP-XXXX-4-1. SCP-XXXX-4-1 can only be observed under certain conditions, usually when the observer tilts his head at 42 degrees in the center of the scorch marks.
SCP-XXXX-4-1 apparently shows a skirmish between a man dressed in military garments and SCP-XXXX-4. SCP-XXXX-4 is thought to be what caused the temporal distortion that transported the craft into the modern era. SCP-XXXX-4 is a larger, green variant of Morpho menelaus, approximately 3.5 meters in height

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be stored in a violin case in Site-44. Removal for testing must be authorized by Dr. Perry or the Director of Site-44. Access to SCP-XXXX is permitted to Level 2 personnel. SCP-XXXX must be taken out from containment every day for polishing and tuning.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a collective term referring to an anomalous violin and bow. The violin is referenced to as SCP-XXXX-1, while the bow is referenced to as SCP-XXXX-2.
When SCP-XXXX is played, a music score of whatever is played materializes on the nearest blank piece of paper. The music score, hereafter known as SCP-XXXX-3, appears only when SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2 are used together. Tests pairing SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2 with other non-anomalous counterparts did not result in SCP-XXXX-3 manifesting.
SCP-XXXX-3 has been observed to materialize on any blank flat surface measuring 21 cm x 30 cm and similar in composition, but will not occur on paper with markings or writing prior to playing SCP-XXXX. Analysis of all instances of SCP-XXXX-3 indicate that the composition of the ink used is the same. It is noted that SCP-XXXX-3 manifests on the paper the subject is facing while playing SCP-XXXX.
SCP-XXXX was found in ██████, Austria, used by a street performer. All witnesses were administered with a Class-D amnestic.
Testing Log SCP-XXXX-A |

Test 9
Subject: Dr. Leonard (Proficient in violin)
Items Used: SCP-XXXX-1 and SCP-XXXX-2. A blank A4 sheet.
Results: SCP-XXXX-3 manifested into an exact copy of Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov's Flight of the Bumblebee.
Addendum XXXX-1: During a recent test, in addition to the SCP-XXXX-3 manifested from the subject's performance, another SCP-XXXX-3 manifested in a blank A4 sheet on Dr. Perry's desk. The instance that spontaneously manifested was inharmonious when played, and after careful analysis, it was hypothesized that this instance was not an actual music score, but a message in the form of a music score. Recurring notes in the score confirmed this, and translation efforts began immediately.
After further analysis, a message was decoded:
Can you send better players? I might go deaf.4.
This confirms that either SCP-XXXX is sentient, or there is another entity operating within it. Early attempts at communication used Morse code, where subjects would tap out the message near the f-holes. Instances of SCP-XXXX-3 manifested after this, reading:
No tapping at all. It sounds horrible.
After further analysis of the message score, a rudimentary cipher was created from the 36 distinct notes playable on a violin that consists of 26 letters, 10 numbers and 4 symbols. In the cipher, the first 26 notes starting from G35 up to G5#/A5♭6 represent the alphabet. The first 10 notes in pizzicato form represent numbers. The note length used does not matter. Symbols are represented by 4 distinct rest notes. Following tests refined the cipher, now referred to as a Pitch Cipher.
More tests with SCP-XXXX show that it is capable of detecting message scores, and that it can replicate SCP-XXXX-3 without having to be played. An interview with SCP-XXXX was conducted using message scores to relay questions.

Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in an underground facility 6 kilometers below sea level known as Site 30. SCP-XXXX must be stored in Site 30, and can only be retrieved for testing if authorized by Head Researcher Robertson. On-site staff must be shifted out every day to prevent contamination. If any on-site staff exhibit signs of aggression or experience a sudden radicalization in opinion, a Class-C amnestic is to be administered at earliest convenience. Foundation web crawlers are to find and eliminate any mention of SCP-XXXX or its properties online. Interaction with SCP-XXXX-1 is unadvised, depending on the length of contact within SCP-XXXX and SCP-XXXX-1.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a bronze chest, bearing Egyptian reliefs correlating to a period within the First Dynasty7. It contains several charred human remains dating from distinct eras, beginning from around 2000 BCE to as recent as 1976 CE.
Analysis of the reliefs indicates that SCP-XXXX is a sacrificial artifact. The leading theory is that it was used before a conflict to increase the morale and hostility of troops via human sacrifice, after analysis of the documentation of the previous owner. Testing indicates SCP-XXXX has a varying effect on the hormonal levels on the people around it.
Two distinct states of SCP-XXXX have been observed, both passive and activated. Translation of the reliefs indicate that SCP-XXXX will enter an active state when a sacrifice is performed. The process of sacrifice as observed by analysis of the reliefs involve the placement of a living human being into SCP-XXXX, before setting the subject on fire. The length of the active state appears to depend on the duration of the subject being on fire.
Any sentient organism, hereafter known as SCP-XXXX-1, within 5 kilometers of a passive SCP-XXXX will exhibit an increase in adrenaline and testosterone, which will last for as long as 2 months before returning to normal levels. Effects experienced by a passive SCP-XXXX-1 include an increase in violent thoughts and actions, alongside hormonal changes. It is predicted that when SCP-XXXX is activated by human sacrifice, the effects will increase in severity greatly8. Direct contact has a significantly greater effect as compared to the effects observed during the transport of SCP-XXXX to Site 30. The effect of direct contact is nerfed to an observable extent should one wear protective handwear while handling SCP-XXXX directly.
Length of contact with passive SCP-XXXX | Proximity to passive SCP-XXXX | Results |
1 day | 5 meters | Subject experienced heightened tensions, as well as becoming restless. |
1 week | 5 meters | Subject developed radicalized opinions, and was twitching throughout the experiment |
1 month 3 weeks | 5 meters | Complete change in subject's personality. Subject had to be restrained after the third week. 2 injured by subject while being restrained. |
10 minutes | Direct contact | Subject immediately developed ultraradicalized opinions and tried to escape the testing chamber by force. Restrained and sent off for amnestic administration. |
SCP-XXXX was discovered in ████████, Montana, United States. The cabin it was found to be in was in great disrepair, with a corpse propped over a desk. The deceased has been identified as ███ ██████, historian at the ██████ University. A notebook correlating to SCP-XXXX was found, with the most recent entries pertaining to ███'s research on SCP-XXXX.
May 16, 1978
Removed the box from the crate today. I'm still going back to that strange thing Harry brought back for me. He knows I'm into these kind of things, but dragging that from Cambodia during a war? I guess that's just how my brother is. How did he even get past security? Nice of him to drive up to my place and personally deliver it too. He'd learnt from previous incidents to never touch artifacts, especially if they might be actually landmines or those expensive statuettes. Anyway, I'm glad it's in one piece.
May 17, 1978
I might be sick. I've been doing some research on that chest. Prof Jules say its Egyptian, probably some ritualistic artifact. It's for the best he doesn't known what's inside this. Whatever the chest is made of it holds off the smell pretty well. The chest is probably from Sinai, maybe the Levant.
May 18, 1978
Nearly punched Tam today. She complained I'm getting violent. Maybe. I've narrowed down some sources stating the chest was sent off to the Macedons. They say it makes armies stronger, but how? That certainly explains their empire. I've begun examination of the corpses. I've identified a few distinct signs, but the rest are way too charred. I've translated some of the reliefs on the chest. I think its called the Ark of Holy/Sacred Flame/Fire.
May 19, 1978
My little quest to find the origin of the chest has gotten out of hand somewhat. The chest made a resurgence in Central Asia around the time of the Mongol Horde. Still trying to connect the pieces. My bet's on the Roman Empire bridging the gap.
May 20, 1978
Can't sit still. I should go see a doctor. My hunch was right. There was a mention of a chest of fire that was used while fighting the Carthaginians. Still trying to bridge the chronological and geographical gap though. At least I'm getting somewhere. I've been suggested to take anger management classes, can't blame them for that incident though.
May 24, 1978
More leads on the chest's history. I would not have made it this far if it weren't for Director Fred. Bless his soul. Apparently the chest was in Constantinople shortly before the collapse of the Roman Empire. It probably was juggled around the Arabs before it got to Central Asia. I've worked out that the first European sighting of the chest was in Hungary, before it made its way to Austria. Too tired to write more, but I managed 6 hours non-stop without touching coffee. How?
Note: Investigations are currently ongoing to determine the identity of "Director Fred" and how he supposedly had access to otherwise top secret information from the Vatican Archives.
Addendum: SCP-423 has denied to have any connection to "Director Fred".
May 27, 1978
The gap has been bridged. The chest arrived in the Rashidun Caliphate before its conquest of North Africa and Iberia, and was left somewhere in Turkmenistan. The chest got to Spain via the personal Spanish-Austrian union. I'm guessing it fueled the colonial efforts. Also it was in Persia circa 1913. Another gap to bridge. I'm seriously considering those anger management classes now.
May 30, 1978
The classes are helping me cope somewhat. Almost punched Lars after he criticised my work on those Indian texts. Why am I so sensitive now? The Spaniards gave the chest to Napoleon, going by what I have. Best guess is the British swiped it after his exile and used it in Persia, which certainly explains the appearance. Now to find out how the chest got to Cambodia. Probably those damn Soviets.
June 2, 1978
I'm getting this weird feeling that the chest is making me more violent. I'm not sure how, but if it had that effect on armies that conquered so much, what is it going to do to me? Figured it out. The Russians stole it from the British, and was used in the abomination called the Soviet Union and its inferior cronies. That explains how it got to Cambodia. Why don't we just nuke the Soviets already?
June 5, 1978
I don't know what's real anymore. I keep having violent bouts. Its the chest isn't it? It must be. It's too dangerous to be kept here, and I'm going to lock it and myself up in my mountain cabin where no one will find me. I can't trust myself. Struggling to keep my sanity. It's all the fault of the Soviets.
June 10, 1978
Fucking commies. Their propaganda probably already infected me via this chest. I can taste their shit from here. I'm thinking the chest is a commie too. I suspect the chest is against me. WE WILL STORM ACROSS SIBERIA
NUKE MOSCOW
THE DAY WE NUKE RUSSIA
TO HELL WITH THE SOVIETS STUPID COMMIES TASTE AMERICAN LE
Note: Post mortem indicates he had been suffering from overwhelming sleep deprivation and malnutrition until he died from a seizure. Based on the results of previous tests, it is assumed that he became mentally unstable after locking himself up.
Addendum XXXX-1: The history of SCP-XXXX was found to be extensive, after careful analysis by Foundation historians and archaeologists. Foundation operatives in the Vatican have provided further information and confirmation of the chest's sightings. Instances of SCP-XXXX were found in many significant battles. The information provided in the notebook is correct, although the chest was in Germany for the duration of World War II.
The corpses found in SCP-XXXX, hereafter known as SCP-XXXX-2, are not neutralized. This was observed after tests were conducted on SCP-XXXX to observe its effects without SCP-XXXX-2. All 23 instances of SCP-XXXX-2 have been removed from SCP-XXXX and transferred to a separate room for storage while the tests were conducted. The first instance SCP-XXXX-2 was "resurrected" after 18 days since his removal, transforming from a charred corpse to a healthy human being. Since then, another 4 instances of SCP-XXXX-2 have been "resurrected". The remaining SCP-XXXX-2 are under constant surveillance to record the "resurrection" process.
Instance of SCP-XXXX-2 | Time of Seperation from SCP-XXXX | Details |
SCP-XXXX-2-1 | 18 days | Identified self as a Cambodian farmer. Claims to have been sacrificed to SCP-XXXX by the Khmer Rogue. |
SCP-XXXX-2-2 | 32 days | Identified self as a banker. Claims to have been sacrificed to SCP-XXXX by Nazi soldiers. |
SCP-XXXX-2-3 | 43 days | Identified self as a soldier of the Russian White Army. Does not remember being sacrificed. |
SCP-XXXX-2-4 | 57 days | Identified self as Hyberabadi trader. Claims to have been sacrificed by British soldiers. |
SCP-XXXX-2-5 | 92 days | Identified self as French peasant. Claims to have been sacrificed by French soldiers. |
The hypothesis that the removal of SCP-XXXX-2 from SCP-XXXX effectively "reanimates" them. This was confirmed after more reliefs were discovered in the interior of SCP-XXXX, previously undetected due to the containment of SCP-XXXX-2. When translated, it states "As Retrieved, So Returned". Resurrected instances of SCP-XXXX-2 do not inflict SCP-XXXX-1 on others. The passive effects of SCP-XXXX were slightly nerfed after the removal of SCP-XXXX-2 repeatedly.
All instances of resurrected SCP-XXXX-2 are questioned further on the nature of their sacrifice and any information on SCP-XXXX. After successful extraction of information, Class-A amnestics were administered and cover stories given to SCP-XXXX-2-1 to -4 for reintegration into society.
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: Due to the size of SCP-XXXX, containment occurs on-site. On-site staff must be shifted out every fortnight. Personnel must be accompanied when entering SCP-XXXX, unless authorized for testing by Head Researcher Glenn. All mentions of SCP-XXXX and its island online are to be removed by Foundation web crawlers, along with the administration of Class-A amnesics on the local population of the nearby █████ Island. The Foundation is to cooperate with Google and the British government to ensure the censorship of ██████ Isle on all media. Under no circumstance are any personnel of French descent of nationality allowed inside SCP-XXXX following Incident XXXX-1.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a lighthouse located on ██████ Isle, off the coast of Scotland. It is the only building on the isle, with the exception of the on-site Foundation facility. The appearance and interior furnishings of SCP-XXXX are consistent with those found during the Victorian Era, and is 20 meters high. The interior is well furnished, although the only sources of light are from candles or gas lamps. A stairwell with a banister runs up the interior of SCP-XXXX, and is referred to as SCP-XXXX-2.
The anomalous properties of SCP-XXXX manifest when an individual tries to walk up SCP-XXXX-2. This occurs only when the SCP-XXXX-2 is not observed by another sentient being. The aforementioned individual will experience a loop, in which he will continue to walk up the same portion of SCP-XXXX-2. The loop is not of temporal essence, as time-keeping devices function normally on SCP-XXXX-2. The individual simply does not experience a change in height, regardless of how fast he may travel, leading to the theory that SCP-XXXX-2 is an extradimensional construct or an Escherian spatial anomaly.
SCP-XXXX-1 is an incorporeal humanoid entity that manifests under the conditions that there is no sunlight present on the island, and that there is only one person inside the lighthouse. SCP-XXXX-1 appears to be a young woman dressed in Victorian Era clothing, and is always wet. It is unknown where the water comes from, and it always vanishes along with SCP-XXXX-2. SCP-XXXX-1 is noted to be similar in appearance to a victim of drowning.
SCP-XXXX-1 always manifests on SCP-XXXX-2, specifically just above the point where SCP-XXXX-2's anomalous properties manifest. SCP-XXXX-1 will always look down at the individual from SCP-XXXX-2, usually alerting the individual of her presence via the drips of water generated by her. SCP-XXXX-1 is capable of speech, although she does not talk frequently. SCP-XXXX-1 is passive towards the individuals in the lighthouse, unless the individual is of French descent or nationality.
Date: 30/06/20██
A D-Class was sent into SCP-XXXX to test the anomalous properties of SCP-XXXX-2. Weather conditions on the day of testing were clear, but a large cloud blocked out sunlight from ██████ Isle. SCP-XXXX-1 manifested while the D-Class was walking up SCP-XXXX-2.After noticing the D-Class, SCP-XXXX-1 proceeded to [DATA EXPUNGED] the D-Class, causing total petrification. It was later confirmed the D-Class was of French descent, and theorized that SCP-XXXX-1 is capable of detecting the genetic ancestry of the D-Class.
The nature of SCP-XXXX-1's petrification of the D-Class is still unknown.

Researcher █████ ████: Good evening, SCP-XXXX-1. May I ask you some questions?
<SCP-XXXX-1 pauses, then slowly nods, but remains on SCP-XXXX-2>
Researcher █████ ████: In that case I shall proceed. How long have you been here?
SCP-XXXX-1: I have lost count.
Researcher █████ ████: Are you a living being, or a spirit?
SCP-XXXX-1: I do not know, but I am not alive anymore. It's so cold.
Researcher █████ ████: When and why did you arrive at ██████ Isle?
SCP-XXXX-1: October 5, 1840. I came here to visit my brother, the lighthouse keeper.
Researcher █████ ████: That means you've been here for nearly two centuries. What happened to you?
SCP-XXXX-1: The Frenchman drowned me.
Researcher █████ ████: The Frenchman? Please elaborate more.
SCP-XXXX-1: The Frenchman shot my brother before I arrived. He forced my head underwater. I was thrown into the sea after I died. I woke up the next day, stuck up here. It's so cold.
Researcher █████ ████: How did you petrify the D-Class?
SCP-XXXX-1: The Frenchman you sent in? I do not know how. I just felt like it.
Researcher █████ ████: One more thing. What was your motive behind your actions during Incident XXXX-1?
<SCP-XXXX-1 pauses, visibly agitated, but proceeds to answer.>
SCP-XXXX-1: All Frenchmen are the spawn of devils.
Researcher █████ ████: Thank you. That will be all.

Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a storage container in Site-29. Retrieval for testing must be approved by Head Researcher Ryans.
Description: SCP-XXXX refers to a blank white mask, with proportionate features of an average face. 20 instances of SCP-XXXX have been recovered, and stored in a container. The anomalous properties of SCP-XXXX manifest when the mask is placed on an individual's face. After securing SCP-XXXX to the face, it will remain there for 18 hours unless removed at an earlier point. The substance SCP-XXXX is made of similar to SCP-1842.
SCP-XXXX is referred to as SCP-XXXX-1 once worn. The facial features of SCP-XXXX-1 will morph into that of a face that the individual wearing it favors the most. The features of SCP-XXXX-1 are usually hyper-realistic, and indistinguishable from a real face. The movements of facial features of SCP-XXXX-1 correspond to that of the wearer's. After 18 hours or upon the separation of SCP-XXXX-1 and the face of the individual wearing it, it will revert to SCP-XXXX and fall off. SCP-XXXX has been found to be reusable.
SCP-XXXX is capable of morphing into a currently unknown amount of faces. Tests conducted on SCP-XXXX have shown that it is not limited to creating faces of other humans, and is capable of creating extremely accurate faces of non-sapient species, as well as fictional ones. It is apparent that SCP-XXXX's ability to morph into SCP-XXXX-1 is limited by the wearer's ability to visualize the desired result.

Subject: D-822911
Procedure: Subject was told to imagine the face of D-472882. D-822911 and D-472882 have not seen or even heard of each other before.
Result: SCP-XXXX morphed into the face of a 31 year old Caucasian male, inconsistent with Foundation records on D-Classes.
Notes: The face is probably the subject's idea of D-472882. -Dr. GaretteTest 7
Subject: D-399293
Procedure: Subject was told to visualize a Xenomorph alien from the Alien franchise.
Result: SCP-XXXX morphed into the entire head of the Xenomorph, where the mask encompassed the subject's head.
Note: We don't know where the extra mass came from. Until this is further tested, SCP-XXXX is effectively capable of breaking the First Law of Thermodynamics. -Dr. Garette
Test 8
Subject: D-337284
Procedure: Subject was told to imagine a potato.
Result: SCP-XXXX did not morph into SCP-XXXX-1
Notes: It seems that SCP-XXXX will not morph into things that don't have a face, or at least don't seem to. -Dr. Garette
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: Due to the nature of SCP-XXXX and its location, a perimeter is to be set up around SCP-XXXX to avoid containment breach and detection from the general public. A small outpost known as Watch Station Delta-73 on an unnamed atoll serves as a base for the monitoring of SCP-XXXX. International trade routes through SCP-XXXX no longer exist under the pretence of the area being a protected marine conservation area.
Contact with instances of SCP-XXXX-1 is prohibited, unless authorised for testing by Site Director Deccans. Under no circumstance should information of the outcome of the battle or history beyond the respective era of SCP-XXXX-1 ( see Addendum XXXX-2) be relayed to its crew.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a location in the South Pacific, approximately 12 square kilometres in area within international waters. SCP-XXXX's anomalous abilities which include temporal and spatial anomalies, manifest at random, permitting on-site monitoring. A naval battle in recorded history, hereafter referred to as SCP-XXXX-1 will take place there at random, although the battle which manifests only includes those that are of a magnitude that can be warranted as major (see Addendum XXXX-1).
Notes: SCP-XXXX was initially discovered while gathering information on SCP-2256 in the South Pacific region. The research vessel observed the Battle of Jutland, and eventually disappeared after loss of visual contact due to weather conditions. After confirming resulting in the creation of Site-73.
Manifestations of SCP-XXXX-1 have been noted to start and end with heavy fog, with near zero visibility. Instances of SCP-XXXX-1 are believed to be replications of the naval battles they manifest into.
Various instances of SCP-XXXX-1 have been recorded, listed below are the most notable instances.
Log of SCP-XXXX-1 instances | |||
---|---|---|---|
Designation | Battle Observed | Manifestation Length | Notes |
SCP-XXXX-1-1 | Battle of Jutland | 3 hours 27 minutes | Manifested at 2030 hours. Disappeared at 2357 hours. First instance of SCP-XXXX-1 recorded. |
SCP-XXXX-1-6 | Unknown | 4 minutes | Manifested at 0611 hours. Battle unidentified due to length of manifestation. See Addendum XXXX-1 Disappeared at 0615 hours. |
SCP-XXXX-1-19 | Battle of the Java Sea | Approximately 8 hours | Manifested at 1646 hours See Incident Log XXXX-1 **Addendum XXXX-2. Disappeared at around 0046 hours. |
SCP-XXXX-1-27 | Operation Praying Mantis | 5 hours 36 minutes | Manifested at 1239 hours. Foundation Agent present in manifestation extracted and interviewed. See Interview Log XXXX-2 and Addendum XXXX-3. Disappeared at 1815. |
Over 30 instances of SCP-XXXX-1 have been recorded thus far, with two instances of the same battle manifesting. Both instances manifested, disappeared, and observed to be in an exactly identical fashion.
Addendum XXXX-1: The upper and lower boundaries for the length of SCP-XXXX-1's manifestation are not known, but there are hypotheses that manifestations occur frequently, but usually occur for a minuscule period.
Several minor naval battles were recorded, including those such as the Battle of Tunmen, the Battle of Trapani and in one instance, five merchant vessels engaged in a stand-off. As observed in several instances, only naval craft are present in each manifestation.
At least 2 recorded manifestations of SCP-XXXX-1 do not correlate with any historical period, with a leading hypothesis that SCP-XXXX-1 is not limited to naval battles within recorded history. One instance of SCP-XXXX-1 with ships apparently made of organic matter, possibly from the era in which SCP-1000 existed in, backs this theory.
Addendum XXXX-2: Instances of SCP-XXXX-1 are transported to SCP-XXXX via temporal distortions. Due to this contact with SCP-XXXX-1 is no longer allowed under any circumstance to avoid causing a Class-AH grandfather paradox.
Incident XXXX-1: Watch Station Delta-73 was sighted by Japanese destroyer █████ and subsequently fired upon during the manifestation of SCP-XXXX-1-19 at 1933 hours. Thankfully the destroyer became engaged in active combat with the HMS ███ before it could move towards Watch Station Delta-73. Requests for cloaking device to be installed at Watch Station Delta-73 for the safety of on-site staff have been approved.
Rounds from the destroyer were detected to have a high level of
