Special Containment Procedure:
SCP-XXXX is to be kept within a 10m x 5m x 3m reinforced steel containment cell in Area-25, furnished with all essential facilities and items. Access to this cell must be through an overhead security corridor with Level 4 Security Measures. All facilities in the area must undergo daily maintenance to detect any abnormalities.

SCP-XXXX must be protected from all physical and mental damage. A modified copy of all data regarding SCP-XXXX is to provided to SCP-XXXX itself on a daily basis for memorization. A modified sample of this document can be found here.

Six (6) 5m x 3m x 3m blast-proof containment cells containing D-Class personnel are placed 100m away, each outfitted with one (1) C4 charge. All such cells are connected to a main hallway that leads to the aforementioned security corridor.

Each D-Class personnel is to be outfitted with five (5) explosive collars respectively on their neck and appendages, and must be placed in a state of medically-induced coma at all times.

When occurence of Event XXXX-1 is acknowledge, prevention procedure is as follow:

Event XXXX-1 Prevention Procedure

Verification of D-Class personnel being affected by Event XXXX-1 via security camera. All affected D-Class personnel are to be terminated, firstly by detonating their explosive collars. Should this fail to incapacitate them, C4 charges within their respective cell will be detonated. Security corridor is to open fire upon any approaching entity.

Should certain D-Class personnel exhibit no signs of being affected by Event XXXX-1, security must expect external intrusion of civillain individual(s) under the effect of Event XXXX-1. Level 4 Alert will be sounded and 360 degree security perimeter is to be initiated.

All security personnel responsible for prevention of Event XXXX-1 must be equipped with soundproof headsets to deter the vocalizations of SCP-XXXX-1 through 7. Items from Project SCRAMBLE will be provided upon request with the alternate function to distort ALL facial recognition.

Should Event XXXX-1 occur succesfully, SCP-XXXX is to contact Foundation personnel through provided email address(es) for retrieval. Should online network be inaccessible, SCP-XXXX is to report to local law enforcement and provide testimony in accordance with Form T-XXXX-1.

Should SCP-XXXX express hostility and desire to propagate the effects of its anomalous properties, Procedure 155-Ares¹ is to be carried out immediately.

Description:
SCP-XXXX is a(█) ████ male, ██ years of age. It was initially secured by the Foundation after it had given testimony regarding a mass disappearance of people in █████████, █████ on ██/██/20██.

SCP XXXX apparently does not have control over its anomalous properties, most of which are attributed instead to a phenomenon designated Event XXXX-1.

Event XXXX-1 is divided into three (3) stages:

Stage 1:

SCP-XXXX spontaneously enters a comatose state. A maximum of six (6) human individuals hereby designated SCP-XXXX-1 through 6 are introduced.

SCP-XXXX-1 through 6 are any human subjects in a state of unconsciousness whose geographical location is relatively closest to SCP-XXXX. These subjects lose control of their body to a driving force and immediately attempt to converge. They are augmented with extreme physical abilities but are incapable of retaliation, only ignoring any efforts to impede their advances and removing any obstacle.

SCP-XXXX-1 through 6 appear to retain their mind throughout the event, as well as control of all five senses, vocalization and facial expression. Their perception, however, is greatly alterred (Refer to SCP-XXXX-1 Perception Test). Initially, they will remain unconscious and only wake up when great physical trauma is inflicted. They will not wake up, however, if the nature of their unconsciousness is that of a coma.

Currently, no known material can effectively obstruct SCP-XXXX-1 through 6. Dismemberment of their limbs is the only known method that can hamper their progress.

Stage 2:

When physical contact is made between two (or more) instances of SCP-XXXX-1 through 6, their bodies are fused together, resulting in the creation of a new entity hereby designated SCP-XXXX-7.

SCP-XXXX-7's form is variable. The bodily structure of its components (SCP-XXXX-1 through 6) is rearranged in a way that would provide SCP-XXXX-7 with the most convenient physique. SCP-XXXX-7 will forcefully absorb any human tissue (including living human beings and cadavers) in its way, its size and resilience increase proportionally.

SCP-XXXX-7 will then proceed to absorb the remaining instances of SCP-XXXX-1 through 6, including incapacitated instances that are deemed reachable in a short time. Incapacitated instances that fail to fulfill that criterion will be released from Event XXXX-1's effects. The completion of this phase concludes Stage 2.

Stage 3:

SCP-XXXX-7 will immediately rush towards the location of SCP-XXXX, assessing the shortest possible route. Completion of Event XXXX-1 is supposedly achieved when contact is made between SCP-XXXX-7 and SCP-XXXX.

Prevention in this stage is only possible through the total obliteration of SCP-XXXX-7, specfically reducing its size to that of a human neonate.

Immediately after completion of Event XXXX-1, a complete erasure/alteration of all data and personnel's memories regarding SCP-XXXX (including all casualties, instances, and Event XXXX-1) will occur. This consists of, but not limited to:

• Erasure of documents.
• Erasure of digital data of any kind.
• Erasure of visual and audio recordings.
• Erasure of artistic depictions and photographs.
• Alteration of objects placed in a way that presents perceptible data.
• Alteration of memories.

SCP-XXXX-1 through 7 and those absorbed by SCP-XXXX-7 will supposedly cease to exist. SCP-XXXX will no longer be in containment and will (re)appear at a location within a documented ████km radius from Area-25 within 48 hours. Unverifiable casualty is to be expected until containment can be re-established. (See Document E-XXXX-1)

SCP-XXXX's confinement triggers the accelerated deterioration of inorganic material within a ███m radius from its position, resulting in Area-25 facilities wearing down constantly. No prolonged incarceration/containment is possible without extensive maintenance on a regular basis.

Addendum XXXX.A:
The use of alternative euphemisms, codenames, abbreviations, aliases, data encryption, vague description, etc. of all types are also vulnerable to the effects of Event XXXX-1. This effect only applies to perceptible data and not placement/existence of objects that CAN be associated with erased data. However, if placement of objects results in relevant perceptible data, such placement will be distorted.

Memories altered by Event XXXX-1 correspond with a reality where erased data (and entities to which this data refers) never existed EXCEPT for the physical changes they'd made on the world that do not register any data. Thus, alteration of memories is debunked only by assessing objects associated with erased data that are otherwise out-of-place.

SCP-XXXX is not vulnerable to this effect. However, it is uncertain whether SCP-XXXX is susceptible to amnestic. Testing is strictly prohibited due to risk of permanent loss of data.

Addendum XXXX.B:
SCP-XXXX's knowledge of the Foundation and data regarding itself does not pose a breach of Foundation secrecy for the time being, since a successful occurrence of Event XXXX-1 will essentially erase any trace of social interaction between SCP-XXXX and other human subjects.

The direct danger comes from Event XXXX-1 and Event XXXX-2's capability to generate unverifiable casualty which numbers in the thousand, and will likely result in an LK-class restructuring event if left uncontained.

Addendum XXXX.C:
Event XXXX-1 has a repetitive nature, having occurred 16 times as of ██/██/20██.
█ of which occurred under Foundation surveillance, and of which 3 were successful.

Inbetween occurrences is an interval. Data from SCP-XXXX's journal indicated the first interval to be 1██ days, and shortened by 1 day after each occurrence. Update regarding changes in interval is to be made after every occurrence. A total amount of xxx occurrences is to be expected. However, this interval is randomly determined thus necessitate the all-time readiness of on-site personnel. (See Incident Report E-XXXX-4)

Note ██/██/20██: Interval between the ████ and ████ occurrences is expected to be 121 days. ██ days left until ████ occurrence at the time of writing.

DOCUMENT E-XXX-1

The following data is based on a journal retrieved from SCP-XXXX:

On ██/██/19██, SCP-XXXX's family disappeared without a trace, including all documents containing their information and identification. All memories regarding these individuals were apparently wiped from all human beings who came into contact with them except for SCP-XXXX itself. Data of all forms were altered in the same manner.

From that point onwards, SCP-XXXX reported experiencing [REDACTED]. Upon regaining consciousness, SCP-XXXX found itself in a vacant residence in a new locale which was devoid of any items that contained information regarding the owner. Residents in the area were ignorant on the matter.

SCP-XXXX utilized these residences as its temporary domicile. Residents in such area reportedly expressed an sense of familiarity with it upon contact, with many displaying [REDACTED]. However, residents also expressed a sense of disinterest when it entered their field of vision, and only responded when spoken to by it.

Investigation revealed that all residents in these locales retained no memories of SCP-XXXX. Traces of SCP-XXXX's inhabitation in these locales, however, indicated this information to be correct.

This new locale could be considerably distant from SCP-XXXX previous location, with the longest distance recorded as ████km. The new locale had a remote nature with [REDACTED]. Traffic cameras never captured any video feed of SCP-XXXX's travel, public transport databases indicated that SCP-XXXX did not utilize these services during [REDACTED]. To date, █ locales have been visited by SCP-XXXX through this phenomenon.

SCP-XXXX reported extreme appetite loss and immediate regurgitation of all ingested food, including all forms of beverage. SCP-XXXX also reported a constant feeling of fullness and hydration at all times, discarding the need to ingest nutrition or hydrate. SCP-XXXX does not experience this under Foundation custody however.

SCP-XXXX also reported to have noticed cases of missing persons numbering in the dozens occurring within these locales during its stay, which it attributed to its anomalous properties. People were reported missing after a night, police investigations were reportedly carried out, with several instances ended in SCP-XXXX incarceration which led to [REDACTED].

Investigation revealed no data existed regarding the missing persons or subsequent police actions except for out-of-place objects and scenes that indicated this information to be true. The lack of data is likely due to the effect of Event XXXX-1 occurring within these locales. Missing persons are deemed unverifiable casualty and number in the thousands, and in actuality could be much higher.

At this point, all personnel currently engaging in prevention of Event XXXX-1 will pause immediately and have no explanation whatsoever for their actions. Any other personnel anywhere in the world will experience the same phenomenon. All data are erased/altered immediately.

Event XXXX-2 occurs as long as SCP-XXXX does not remain in physical captivity or surveillance, and while SCP-XXXX is asleep. A related incident involved a researcher purposefully releasing SCP-XXXX's containment door, which led to eradication of many personnel. Interestingly, data and memories regarding these casualties are not erased after every Event XXXX-2. Such effect is exclusive to Event XXXX-1. All casualties from Event XXXX-2 will have all data and memories of them being erased after the upcoming Event XXXX-1.

Without Foundation intervention, Event XXXX-1 will occur again in said location and result in the erasure of any information or memories regarding SCP-XXXX, the hundreds of missing people, and relevant actions, except for existence/placement of objects that can indicate their now-expunged existence.

SCP-XXXX is required to memorize all data regarding itself, and provide Foundation personnel with said data upon re-establishment of containment. All files, documents,… must also be recreated. This is a measure to protect data should prevention of Event XXXX-1 fail.

To date, 3 completions of Event XXXX-1 have happened under Foundation surveillance, resulting in 3 re-establishment of SCP-XXXX's containment.

The 1st: due to Foundation's extremely limited knowledge of SCP-XXXX's anomalous properties and insufficient containment measures. Resulted in xx unverifiable casualties. SCP-XXXX only retrieved after it provided the local police with necessary information to gain Foundation's attention. Tests were conducted to find a method to prevent loss of data, but because tests require the completion of Event XXXX-1 to yield any results, it was encouraged that all possible tests be proposed and done that time. SCP-XXXX's state of coma proved difficult to verify what exactly happened during Event XXXX-1, but signs of destruction and casualty indicated the involvement of a dangerous entity/phenomenon. Containment procedure revised.

The 2nd: due to Foundation's failure to contain the fusion organism. All previously set-up tests yielded results. Containment procedures revised. All data recreated from SCP-XXXX's memory, that and all new data were introduced to SCP-XXXX for memorization. Further tests were set-up.

The 3rd: an Agent independently arranged the termination of SCP-XXXX and disposed of its body. Literally nothing happened, until Foundation personnel was contacted by SCP-XXXX after the interval expires and everyone fell off their chairs. Previously set-up tests yielded results. Containment procedures revised. It is unknown whether retaining SCP-XXXX's remains after termination has any further effect, but testing has been prohibited.

Event XXXX-1's periodic nature has been disproved when it occurred way before the calculated interval expired, resulted in decimation of Area security due to low readiness. However, containment was successful.

As of xx/xx/20xx, unverifiable casualty numbers in the thousand, including several dozens Foundation personnel. The exact number is likely much higher. Facility damage is high as well due to the efforts necessary to terminate SCP-XXXX-1 through 7 and the deterioration effect that SCP-XXXX has on its containment facilities.
