SCP-XXXX in containment at site-██ minutes prior to activation.

Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is contained in a concrete 6.7m x 4m room at site-██. The room is currently lit by two (2) 105-watt halogen lights. Constant supervision is to be kept by at least two (2) Level 2 on-site personnel. When SCP-XXXX enters its referred "active state", supervising Level-2 executives will immediately engage in procedure Arafat-12. Access to SCP-XXXX within its "active state" is prohibited without Level-2 authorization.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a 6m long (2.4m by 2.6m) European insulated steel freight container, covered in significantly large patches of rust; giving the impression of being in a fragile condition. Despite this, it has shown to withstand the same amount █████████████████ weight and pressure equal to that of a functional freight container with same material, structure and size. On its two frontal doors, SCP-XXXX is labeled with a standardized ISO-6346 code of "NEAU2771061" and "20HR". The identification snippet of "NEA" has no connection to any known freighting company. However, due to the nature of SCP-XXXX, it is theorized [REDACTED]

The two (2) front doors of SCP-XXXX are able to magnetically lock/unlock themselves accordingly to SCP-XXXXs' current state. When locked, the doors can sustain over ████ newton units, practically rendering both locked doors indifferent to any and all outside stimuli. SCP-XXXXs' rust does not affect the friction of its doors.

Since incident ████-82, with an exact interval of five (5) days and twenty one (21) hours, SCP-XXXX has been known to enter a referred "pre-active state" in which one (1) instance of SCP-XXXX-1 appears within the freight container by unknown means. Ten minutes before SCP-XXXX enters its pre-active state, procedure Arafat-12 is to be executed with immediate action and continued as by standard protocol (unless specified otherwise by any Level 2 Supervisor). Exactly two (2) hours after the spawning of SCP-XXXX-1, the doors of SCP-XXXX will unlock — entering the final "active state". After exactly one (1) hour from this point, SCP-XXXX will reenter the "inactive state" and close both doors automatically (proven identically with the previously recorded amount of force). SCP-XXXX will then lock its doors and start the aforementioned routine again. Attempts to alter or stop this behavior has been unsuccessful as to-date.

Instances of SCP-XXXX-1 varies greatly, but can be generally desrcibed as a humanoid sapient bipedal creature with human features, often with unidentifiable origin and/or genus. Most recorded instances of SCP-XXXX-1 has been at least capable of basic verbal communication vocalazations, often accompanied with functioning visual and auditory senses. Refer to the Notable Arafat-12 logs for further contextual description.
