SCP-XXXX

Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is stored in a small safe located in Storage at Site-██. SCP-XXXX is further inclosed in a small case. To ensure safety, SCP-XXXX is not to be operated outdoors. SCP-XXXX’s dial must be rotated back to its neutral position of 0 degrees before any user lets go of SCP-XXXX. Any D-Class personnel used in testing of SCP-XXXX are to be restrained via harness connected to a cable.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a metal kaleidoscope covered in various dials, buttons, and sliders with various engravings on each. Either side of SCP-XXXX contains a small lens, the larger of which, the optic, is cracked. The largest dial of SCP-XXXX is located around the primary lens. This dial can turn 90 degrees either clockwise or counterclockwise, however it will rest at 0 degrees by default.
The controls of SCP-XXXX seem to be able to warp space relative to the object and its user. As long as a person is in contact with SCP-XXXX, these changes will take effect. This includes, but is not limited to: rotating space, twisting space, squashing or stretching space, and reflecting space along an axis. This effect does not apply to anyone not in contact with SCP-XXXX. To outside observers, the user of SCP-XXXX will appear to remain in our reality, however, depending on how SCP-XXXX has manipulated space, the user may appear warped, fractured, or even duplicated. For example, if the user of SCP-XXXX were to twist a hallway and then walk forward, outside observers would observe them seeming to walk along the walls.
Note: SCP-XXXX's lens seems to be non-functional, as such the object cannot be used as a normal kaleidoscope.

Discovery: SCP-XXXX was discovered after a body was found inside a store in ██████, Missouri. The corpse was discovered with its body [REDACTED], stretching a total of ██ meters. SCP-XXXX was found directly beneath what is assumed to be the corpse's right hand. Foundation officials took SCP-XXXX into containment and Class A amnestics were applied to all witnesses.
