Eschatology Main Site Hub draft

Old Outlines:

Note: Let's not cold-post any of these. Everyone should get a chance to look at 'em before they go live. They don't all have to go up in order.

  4. Stormfront (Light - Posted)
  5. Awakenings (Moose - Posted)

  9. Interlude (Dexanote - Posted)
  10. Four Horsemen: Famine (Light - WIP)
  11. Four Horsemen: Death (Moose - FINISHED)
  12. Dexanote's Tale (Dexanote - FINISHED)
  13. Finale (Moose - FINISHED)
    • May be broken up into multiple parts, like the first three were broken up. Individual parts may be entirely authored by different authors.
    • Ganymede

  • Revelation - Moose (POSTED, in three parts)
          • SCP-001, "the Lock" is opened, triggering the end of the world
          • This is a bait-and-switch story. We open thinking it's going to be the Judeo-Christian apocalypse, based on Clef's proposal, with 343 as God. Until the very end, when we = along with 343/Yahweh - realize… that, holy shit. This is a whole lot more than just that.
          • ROUGH OUTLINE: (1) Lock opened (2) 343 exits Foundation (3) 343 launches army of angels into the world (haven't decided how to portray them yet but if you want to get started before seeing this) (4) 343 goes to the old site of the Lock and finds that that a bajillion other world-enders (many of which are also gods) have been awakened / summon / empowered (5) Administrator shows up, says the Foundation will stand against them all, end.
  • World-Ender Vignette Tale (or tales) - Moose, Light, anyone else
          • Moose - Awakening Vignettes I
          • A small bunch of world-enders awakening in a series of vignettes, even if the particular world-enders shown don't feature prominently (but especially if they do). Might do a whole ton at once in one tale. Maybe we can ALL do a few of these vignettes, even if just one or two. Maybe we can combine this with the below story/stories - intersperse what's happening with the Foundation & with the world.
  • (Story/Stories) showing what's happening with the Foundation & with the world. - Any author/s
          • Foundation: Consequences of dealing with massive containment breaches. Disagreements arise.
          • World: Apocalyptic beings war with each other, causing massive changes and undoing others' work.
          • Stories can be as large or small-scale as we want. I'd like there to be at least one small-scale scene and one large-scale scene (not necessarily story).
          • PLOT ARC: Possibly this is where Dr. Light gets caught between the Administrator (new) & Nobody (the original Administrator / 990)
  • Skara's Story
          • Covers some of the above (see logs). Should go either second - after Revelation - or third - after the Awakening vignettes.
  • Light's Story
          • Part of above; opens with Light dreaming about 990, follows into Foundation stuffs (see logs). Probably comes right after Skara's tale, or else fourth with the vignettes preceeding.
  • The Horsemen - Multi-Author (this can also go right after the Vignette tales)
          • Currently, this will be the containment breaches of each of the Four Horsemen, following with them gathering to 343.
          • This may be split into multiple tales. This will probably come fifth in the sequence, but it can come as early as third if we have to. (I'd prefer a little later though.)
          • 1. Moose: Conquest - The White Horse
          • 2. Dexanote: War (Bobble) - The Red Horse
          • 3. Light: Replacement Horseman: Pestilence (Vector)
          • 4. Light: Famine (Vermin God, SCP-027) - The Black Horse
          • 5. Moose: Death (053 & 682) The Pale Horse
  • (Story/Stories) showing what's happening with the Foundation & with the world. - Any author/s
          • Build on top of what we did first round.
          • PLOT ARC: Build towards End
  • Light's Story II (see above)
  • End of Opening Act - Any author/s (Dexanote already wrote the final lines)
          • O5 council is largely or completely assassinated/destroyed.
          • Possibly 3 schisms: The current Administrator (Foundation continues as before), Nobody (World must end, let's do it in a way we prefer), and Light (possible alliance with Serpent's Hand, anomalous entities who don't want to end the world, including resistant world-enders/gods or 'gods')
          • Establish a starting point for more stories: World-ender gods control a large area, most trying to fight past each other to cover the entire world, the Foundation controls a large area (but a minority overall)
          • Set up that the Big Guns, some seriously cosmic Lovecraftian entities, are ALSO on their way to end the world. It's only a matter of time before they arrive. And additionally, more and more gods/world-enders are arriving or awakening each day…
          • Ends with the Ganymede Protocol enacted: All Sites are now independent entities.

THE FOUR HORSEMEN

The White Horse: Conquest

And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

Rider: http://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-231 - 231's child isn't the apocalyptic event. There is no child, only her: Conquest, the conqueror with the crown on her head, neither a victim nor a monster. She's only here for a couple scenes:

She wakes up, containment breaches, meets 343, says, you know what, THEY were trying to save the world, but YOU I can't forgive. You could have done something this entire time, and you didn't. And now you've given me a whole lot of power. Peace out, I'm going to explore the universe. See you in few million years or so if I change my mind. So she leaves. Gone. No more 231, no more Conquest.

Steed: http://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-312 - Yes, the jellyfish. (ALT: The formerly winged horse. "That isn't your steed"… maybe)

The Other Horse: Pestilence

One of 343's followers, or other Horseman, suggest he empower a backup. Pestilence, the non-canon Horseman. (replaces Conquest in folklore)
"There must always be four."

Rider: [Any number of disease SCPs, or even just one]
Steed: http://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-353 - Vector. Metaphorical "Steed".

The Red Horse: War

And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.

Rider: http://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-993 - That's right. Bobble.

(Maybe Bobble suggests Pestilence, too, after 231/Conquest leaves. "Don't you fucks know anything about pop culture?")

Steed: http://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-1419 - Yup.

The Black Horse: Famine

And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a day's wage, and three measures of barley for a day's wage; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.

Rider: http://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-027 - The Vermin God
Steed: NOT CERTAIN See below.

The Pale Horse: Death

And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

Rider: http://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-053 - Young Girl. It makes sense, doesn't it?
Steed: http://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/scp-682 - Yup.
