SCP-XXXX prior to containment

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is currently kept in a five meter by five meter by three meter (L x W x H) reinforced containment cell. All physical contact - other than by D-class personnel - with SCP-XXXX is strictly forbidden. If anyone is to be exposed to SCP-XXXX’s effects, the containment cell is to be sealed shut beforehand and remain in a locked-down state until all effects have been observed and verified. If any direct effects are not observed they are to be reported to the site director imediately and the chamber to remain in class 5 lockdown to prevent a potential containment breach, until stated otherwise by the site director. Any violation of the listed procedures is grounds for imediate disaplinary action.

Description: SCP-XXXX has the visual appearance of an ordinary ███████ branded grey plastic school chair with metal legs. The seat is, after testing confirmed to be made from PET (Polyethylene terephthalate) in conformity of any other ███████ brand chair and the brand's logo is indented on the back. Any attempts to sit on or make any other physical contact with SCP-XXXX results instantaneously in the subject who interacted with SCP-XXXX (hereafter referred to as SCP-XXXX-01) to be completely eradicated with no trace [CORRECTION: see addendum-XXXX-A2] and objects up to approximately 50KG in weight being displaced (although objects with greater masses have been observed to be affected). At the exact moment these effects take place, there is a large pressure redistribution within the room from up to 2.6 atm (263.445 kpa) down to a complete vacuum. this is caused by particles within the room being displaced, creating a loud cracking noise as a small sonic boom occurs.

SCP-XXXX was discovered when disappearances, loud noises and other spatial anomalies were reported in █████ School, █████, ████████, England. A local undercover unit was sent to investigate. SCP-XXXX was located in a storage room behind the school’s assembly hall at the time of recovery. Since the foundation had no prior knowledge of SCP-XXXX's nature, there was one instance in which SCP-XXXX was touched; this casualty occurred after Agent ██████ unintentionally located SCP-XXXX. it is assumed that Agent ██████ inadvertently made contact with SCP-XXXX which resulted in the displacement of many objects and a loud crack as areas in a vacuum and higher pressure areas re-distributed themselves to average room pressure. SCP-XXXX was found quickly after this as a whiteboard marker had been used to mark walls with arrows guiding the remaining 7 MTF units to SCP-XXXX's location. SCP-XXXX was retrieved and subsequently contained on 18/04/200█.

Addendum-XXXX-A1:
Objects that can be consumed or appear fit for consumption disappear, allegedly eaten by SCP-XXXX-01 (for a full list of experiments see Experiment log-XXXX-1 onwards), however, no waste products of any kind are produced. EDIT: After experiment-XXXX-6 it is thought that any matter deemed part of SCP-XXXX-01 by SCP-XXXX is kept in an adjacent timeline, decomposing “forever” see Addendum-XXXX-A2 for further details.

Addendum-XXXX-A2:
After Experiment-XXXX-6 it is concluded that SCP-XXXX is capable of creating a existence in which time does not advance at the same rate or at least in the same way as it is generally perceived. Containment procedures updated accordingly.

Dr. ████'s description of SCP-XXXX was excluded from this document due to complaints of it causing further confusion.

A revised explanation by Dr. ██████: "SCP-XXXX causes an infinite amount of time to be experienced by SCP-XXXX-01 within an infinitesimally small moment. Within this time SCP-XXXX-01 gains the ability to manipulate and move objects despite the fact that all the particles that make up the object are “frozen in time”. That is to say, items shouldn’t be able to be moved because the atoms are not able to be affected by force over time if that “time” is non-existent to them. unfortunately, as of yet, SCP-XXXX-01 is unable to be retrieved and therefore perishes, due to dehydration or another limiting factor.”

Adendmum-2111-A3:
It is now thought that SCP-XXXX-01 is able to manipulate particles in the air causing them to be displaced. the movement of SCP-XXXX-01 through their environment pushes particles to the side, compressing them in certain areas and moving them away entirely from others. this results in a small sonic boom being created by SCP-XXXX-01. it is unknown how SCP-XXXX-01 is presumably able to breathe easily without even noticing the absence of air in areas they have been in before. this being said, Dr. ██████'s theory on this is as follows; "on physical interaction with SCP-XXXX, SCP-XXXX-01 gains the ability to [DATA EXPUNGED], causing particles in the room to be ██████ ████ █████████████ ██████ ████████ this enables for a heightened level of [DATA EXPUNGED]. this allows SCP-XXXX-01 to survive off of [DATA EXPUNGED] due to the fact that all of the time experienced by them is contained within one moment."

selected tests deemed appropriate to be included in this document are as follows:

Test-XXXX-1
Subject: D-67704, Caucasian male
Location: SCP-XXXX's containment cell
Procedure: D-67704 is instructed to make physical contact with SCP-XXXX.
Results: On contact D-67704 disappears from sight. SCP-XXXX moved to the back-left corner of the cell, upside-down; scratch on the window; the light bulb was broken, pieces of glass in a pile at the back-right corner of the cell.
Analysis: First controlled test of SCP-XXXX. repeats are to be performed to confirm effects.

Test-XXXX-2
Subject: D-67738, African American male
Location: SCP-XXXX's containment cell
Procedure: Light fixture replaced with a shielded variant to prevent the need to replace it further. D-67738 is instructed to make physical contact with SCP-XXXX.
Results: On contact D-67738 disappears from sight. Effects are similar to the initial test, no additional effects witnessed. SCP-XXXX placed in the back-left corner, facing observation window.
Analysis: while in Test-XXXX-1, SCP-XXXX seemed to be violently thrown into the corner of the room the placement seemed to be more careful in Test-XXXX-2, facing the observation window directly.

Test-XXXX-6
Subject: D-67775, Caucasian female
Location: SCP-XXXX's containment cell
Procedure: assorted items left in the containment cell (Rubik's Cube (unsolved); Length of string, 300mm; pen; notepad, 50 pages). D-67775 is instructed to make physical contact with SCP-XXXX.
Results: On contact D-67775 disappears from sight. notepad placed in the middle of the room with the pen placed next to it. Rubik's cube solved, string knotted six (6) times.
Analysis: on further inspection, the notepad had two (2) pages of text filled out and three (3) pages of illegible markings. the pen was 57% emptied of ink. a transcription of the text is as follows:

Test-XXXX-7
Subject:D-67784, caucasian male; D-67796, caucasian male
Location: SCP-XXXX's containment cell
Procedure: D-67784 and D-67796 instructed to make physical contact with SCP-XXXX simultaneously. slow motion camera (approx. one trillion FPS) set to capture the instant D-67784 and D-67796 touch SCP-XXXX.
Results:

Note: after Experiment-XXXX-6, the site manager stated that "SCP-XXXX is under consideration of being upgraded to a Euclid class object as the implications of SCP-XXXX-01 being able to cause a widespread containment breach are undeniable" and replaced Dr. ████, designating Dr. ██████ as the new command of SCP-XXXX. Dr. ████ was moved to another SCP deemed "less critical to the foundation".
