Busy rewriting, and working on third addendum.
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: The structure SCP-XXXX cannot be moved nor contained in any other structure, therefore containment must be made on site. No exploration or testing is to be made on or in SCP-XXXX without Level 3 clearance.
All substances and objects released by SCP-XXXX are to be secured in a Level 2 Containment safe until examination and testing are complete, when the object will be incinerated unless Level 3 approval has been given. All creatures released by SCP-XXXX are to be terminated on sight.
If any form of communication is observed from SCP-XXXX, contact is to be attempted immediately, and the Site Director is to be notified.
If Event-XXXX occurs, all personnel within the given range are to evacuate and set up base outside the anomalous area.
SCP-XXXX entering it's active phase.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a room constructed of material with a similar composition to steel, located on the first floor of a two-story building 3.25 kilometers away from ██████, England. It receives electrical power from an unknown source. No other rooms in the said building are anomalous in any way. SCP-XXXX contains a total of 5 doors, one of which is used to enter and exit SCP-XXXX and exhibits no anomalous properties. The remaining four doors are located on each side of SCP-XXXX, and each has an unidentified symbol engraved on the front.
Each of the doors located in SCP-XXXX leads to an identical room with an equal amount of doors, each designated as SCP-XXXX-A through -D and collectively designated as SCP-XXXX-1. These rooms appear to go on indefinitely, however some rooms have been seen to have furniture, or to have windows replacing up to two doors. These windows cannot be opened, gone through, or destroyed via any known means. Nothing can be seen on the other side of these windows.
If the doors which connect to SCP-XXXX remain open no anomalous effects are observed towards the inhabitants inside any one of these rooms. However, if any door, whether it is connected to SCP-XXXX or not, is kept open for a period varying from 30 to 60 seconds, a force originating from an unknown source attempts to close the door. This force increases by 10 Newtons every second until the door is shut.
However, if a door is disconnected from SCP-XXXX, then the laws of physics behave in a way inconsistent with our universe's own. Such effects include, but are not limited to, the increase or decrease of gravitational force within the room in question, the entropy of the room reaching different stable points; which changes the relative flow of time, and various changes in the biological matter of any being within the room.
Due to the anomalous nature of SCP-XXXX, little was known about how it affected SCP-XXXX-1 until Event XXXX-3 (See Addendum XXXX-02).
Each room directly accessible from SCP-XXXX and series of rooms derived from said rooms acts independently of one another, meaning that you cannot use one room to access another one of the rooms accessible from SCP-XXXX.
After a period varying between 6 and 3 months, an event designated Event-XXXX will occur. The lights in SCP-XXXX lose 60% of luminescence for approximately 5 seconds, after which all of the doors of the room will open at a great speed. These doors remain open for three minute, when the standard anomalous effects occur. For a full list of contents discovered in these rooms, see Addendum-XXXX-02. To date, only three instances of Event-XXXX have occurred, deemed Events XXXX-1 through -3.
SCP-XXXX was discovered when Agent D████ had been sent to investigate the area around ██████, England, after an abnormal number of disappearances had been noted. Agent entered SCP-XXXX after searching a number of nearby buildings for anomalies. Audio feed lost upon entrance to one the rooms inside SCP-XXXX, and the Foundation immediately sent other Agents to secure the area.
Tests regarding SCP-XXXX.
Test XXXX-A - 07/██/20██
Subject: D-98573
Procedure: Subject was instructed to enter SCP-XXXX and close the entrance behind him, then open it after a period of 10 seconds.
Results: When the door was opened, subject was still present.
Analysis: The entrance door itself displays no anomalous properties.
Test XXXX-B - 07/██/20██
Subject: D-98573, D-32789, D-68452, D-98456
Procedure: Subjects were instructed to enter each of the rooms inside SCP-XXXX and close the doors behind them, then open the doors after a period of 10 seconds.
Results: Doors remained shut. Upon opening by Foundation personnel, each room was empty.
Analysis: Door exhibit no anomalous effects until closure.
Test XXXX-C - 08/██/20██
Subject: D-34252
Procedure: Subject was given enough MRE rations to last an estimated 32 days, a GPS device and a means of communication with Foundation personnel. Subject instructed to enter a room inside SCP-XXXX and close the entrance behind him, then open it after instructed.
Results: Audio feed and location lost upon the closure of the door. When opened, room was empty.
Analysis: All subjects appear to immediately vanish when the door is closed. Lack of audio feed and GPS leaves much to speculation.
Test XXXX-D - 08/██/20██
Subject: D-45672
Procedure: Subject was given enough MRE rations to last an estimated 32 days and a means of communication with Foundation personnel. Subject instructed to enter a room inside SCP-XXXX, leave the entrance open and explore as far as possible.
Results: Subject went through several identical rooms before the door shut itself behind the subject. Audio feed lost upon the closure of the door. When opened, room was empty, and no other doors were opened.
Analysis: The doors shut themselves after a limited time. Instances appear to entirely reset upon closure.
This experiment was repeated several times, with other Class D's attempting to hold the door open. Results were the same, although several Class D's were injured when the door shut on bodily parts.
Contents of SCP-XXXX-A through -D during Events XXXX-1, XXXX-2 and XXXX-3.
Event XXXX-1 - 04/██/20██:
SCP-XXXX-A: An unknown organism, upon close examination revealed to be a heavily deformed canine heart. Organism ceased activity after eight minutes.
SCP-XXXX-B: A mummified humanoid corpse, with DNA resembling no living humans. Subject disintergrated upon leaving SCP-XXXX.
SCP-XXXX-C: Experiment revealed nothing anomalous, however, due to the fact that when the door was opened a notable amount of air was sucked in, it is assumed that the room contained a vacuum of some kind.
SCP-XXXX-D: A tape recorder, matching no known brands, that can record more and higher quality audio than current technology allows. Examination reveals that an unidentified person recorded himself with it. Audio transcript is as follows:
(Hoarse masculine voice, accompanied by footsteps) It's been several days since I walked through the door, and I think I… I'm going insane. Everything is wrong…I go through rooms, leaving markers, and…and they are no longer there when I go back. The doors won't stay open won't stay open. I need to get out before….they get me. I found this in one of the other rooms, along with…..along…with, but it wasn't there. I need a way out. I lost all of my…all… I am alone….(Silence for a few minutes)I'll do it. Anything…to get out.(Gunshot is heard, along with a sound presumed to be the person hitting the floor. Silence is observed for several minutes, and audio ends.)
During further events, rooms must be scanned before being opened, due to the loss of the contents of SCP-XXXX-C.
Event XXXX-2 - 12/██/20██:
SCP-XXXX-A: A humanoid creature that was actively hostile and wounded █ personnel before being shot by Agent B████. The creature dissolved upon receiving the wound.
SCP-XXXX-B: Several gasses consistent with the chemical composition of Venus' atmosphere. Dispersed upon the opening of SCP-XXXX-B.
SCP-XXXX-C: A note written in what has been confirmed as human blood. Text reads: "lost in this rom[sic] mistake mistake mistak[sic] change"
SCP-XXXX-D: A perfect blue sphere that is invisible unless watched via remote sources.
Event XXXX-3 - 16/██/20██ :
SCP-XXXX-A: An unidentified, severely damaged electronic device.
SCP-XXXX-B: The room was observed to be full of concentrated hydrogen, which mostly dispersed upon the door's opening.
SCP-XXXX-C: Documentation regarding SCP-XXXX, signed by O5-██. Documentation is identical to current records, however, it appears to have been issued three years from the current date.
SCP-XXXX-D: See Addendum-XXXX-03.
On 16/██/20██, a piece of an unidentified flat, solid substance was recovered from SCP-XXXX-D after Event XXXX-3, which appears to have been written on with standard ink in English. Some parts of the substance have been damaged, rendering the ink in those locations illegible. Transcript is given below.
It worked too well, and now the abilities [ILLEGIBLE] against me. I was brought [ILLEGIBLE] and now I cannot [ILLEGIBLE] know if I'll survive in this [ILLEGIBLE] it would be safer to go back into my [ILLEGIBLE] ? I don't know, I'm not sure. Anything could [ILLEGIBLE] If anyone finds this, do not enter any of the [ILLEGIBLE] more than just that. Please [ILLEGIBLE] before it understands.
Shortly after this incident, all anomalous activity ceased within the building for a period of 24 hours.
Trying to figure out the best way to write this one.
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: Due to the fact that SCP-XXXX cannot be moved or contained within another structure, containment should be done on-site. No personnel are allowed in the vicinity of SCP-XXXX without Level 3 clearance.
All testing is only to be attempted with the full authorization of the current Site Director.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a house located five kilometers north of Johannesburg, South Africa, on the side of ███████ Road. No records of the structure being built or owned have been found. All materials that have been recovered and recorded are standard of a house of that design.
The only means to enter SCP-XXXX is through the front door. Although there are many other doors and windows, all are blocked off by wooden barriers, and all attempts to breach or damage the barriers have met with failure.
SCP-XXXX-1 is an entity that manifests itself within a random room in SCP-XXXX within 2 minutes after any human being enters the structure. SCP-XXXX-1 appears to be humanoid, although it is lacking any facial features other than two eyes which lack pupils and iris', and appears to have overgrown nails which appear to be much more resilient to stress than those belonging to standard humans.
After SCP-XXXX-1 has manifested, no creature or object may enter SCP-XXXX until the people who caused SCP-XXXX-1 to manifest have either exited SCP-XXXX or expired. All attempts to do otherwise have resulted in the appearance of an invisible barrier at the entrance of SCP-XXXX.
Upon it's manifestation, SCP-XXXX-1 will pursue the people present within SCP-XXXX, in the order in which they entered SCP-XXXX. Upon reaching the said people, SCP-XXXX-1 will attempt to dismember them using it's elongated fingernails. However, it shows no hostility towards any creatures other than humans brought into the building, which are capable of leaving as long as there are no humans present within the building.
