Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: The structure SCP-XXXX cannot be moved nor contained in any other structure, therefore containment must be made on site. No exploration or testing is to be made on or in SCP-XXXX without Level 3 clearance.

All substances and objects released by SCP-XXXX are to be secured in a Level 2 Containment safe until examination and testing are complete, when the object will be incinerated unless Level 3 approval has been given. All creatures released by SCP-XXXX are to be terminated on sight.

If any form of communication is observed from SCP-XXXX, contact is to be attempted immediately, and the Site Director is to be notified.

If Event-XXXX occurs, all personnel within the given range are to evacuate and set up base outside the anomalous area.

SCP-XXXX entering it's active phase.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a room constructed of material with a similar composition to steel, located on the first floor of a two-story building 3.25 kilometers away from ██████, England. It receives electrical power from an unknown source. No other rooms in the said building are anomalous in any way. SCP-XXXX contains a total of 5 doors, one of which is used to enter and exit SCP-XXXX and exhibits no anomalous properties. The remaining four doors are located on each side of SCP-XXXX, and each has an unidentified symbol engraved on the front.

Each of the doors located in SCP-XXXX leads to an identical room with an equal amount of doors, each designated as SCP-XXXX-A through -D and collectively designated as SCP-XXXX-1. These rooms appear to go on indefinitely, however some rooms have been seen to have furniture, or to have windows replacing up to two doors. These windows cannot be opened, gone through, or destroyed via any known means. Nothing can be seen on the other side of these windows.

If the doors which connect to SCP-XXXX remain open no anomalous effects are observed towards the inhabitants inside any one of these rooms. However, if any door, whether it is connected to SCP-XXXX or not, is kept open for a period varying from 30 to 60 seconds, a force originating from an unknown source attempts to close the door. This force increases by 10 Newtons every second until the door is shut.

However, if a door is disconnected from SCP-XXXX, then the laws of physics behave in a way inconsistent with our universe's own. Such effects include, but are not limited to, the increase or decrease of gravitational force within the room in question, the entropy of the room reaching different stable points; which changes the relative flow of time, and various changes in the biological matter of any being within the room.

Due to the anomalous nature of SCP-XXXX, little was known about how it affected SCP-XXXX-1 until Event XXXX-3 (See Addendum XXXX-02).

Each room directly accessible from SCP-XXXX and series of rooms derived from said rooms acts independently of one another, meaning that you cannot use one room to access another one of the rooms accessible from SCP-XXXX.

After a period varying between 6 and 3 months, an event designated Event-XXXX will occur. The lights in SCP-XXXX lose 60% of luminescence for approximately 5 seconds, after which all of the doors of the room will open at a great speed. These doors remain open for three minute, when the standard anomalous effects occur. For a full list of contents discovered in these rooms, see Addendum-XXXX-02. To date, only three instances of Event-XXXX have occurred, deemed Events XXXX-1 through -3.

SCP-XXXX was discovered when Agent D████ had been sent to investigate the area around ██████, England, after an abnormal number of disappearances had been noted. Agent entered SCP-XXXX after searching a number of nearby buildings for anomalies. Audio feed lost upon entrance to one the rooms inside SCP-XXXX, and the Foundation immediately sent other Agents to secure the area.

Shortly after this incident, all anomalous activity ceased within the building for a period of 24 hours.
