Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is kept in a 30 cm tall glass canister in Site 64. No advance procedures are needed at time of writing. Level 3 Personnel have access to remove SCP-XXXX from its canister.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a canister of spray which contains 300 ml of liquid. It is currently unknown who or what manufactured the liquid but it is believed to be hair spray and was donated by ████████ █████ in 2014. ████████ █████ claims they found it in their bathroom cabinet. Tests have shown that SCP-XXXX is fire and microbe resistant but can not be adapted to human biology.

When sprayed on hair belonging to a living organism, the hair becomes sentient and can detect heat, pain, touch, pressure and can predict danger. The hair fibres can move on their own and violently taps the subject when pain or danger is detected.

Multiple scenarios have been tested on many Class-D personnel. It is impossible to reverse the effects of SCP-XXXX at time of writing. Below is a test log on a subject before being killed by SCP-173

Test 1 - 15:58

Subject: Denny Race. 59 years of age.
Procedure: Denny Race was placed inside SCP-173's containment chamber. He was then sprayed with SCP-XXXX.
Results: Race's hair was shaking and tapping his face to warn him of danger before he was killed.

Lab tests have proved that SCP-XXXX has an unlimited amount of powder inside it's canister. It reproduces when powder is lost and it is impossible to puncture. Further tests have been halted until permission has been passed due to SCP-███ having a horrific effect to human material when combined. The material [DATA REDACTED].
Subjects have been found dead, strangled by their own scalp hair. Evidence has shown that when angered, hair goes into a violent frenzy and kills tested subjects. It is unknown how SCP-XXXX turns hair aggressive.

In May ████, Dr. Wintle found the active ingredient Coumadin, which is found in plants. It's effects were able to neutralise plants and give life to dead organisms. Wintle tested on dead frogs, and the frogs were reported alive. Coumadin mistakes hair as a dead organism and spawns sentience in the keratin.

New plans have been announced to save lives In the Foundation but no details have been confirmed yet. No plans of releasing it to the public have been made. Medical effects have been noted such as treating migraines, anxiety and high blood pressure.
