SCP-XXXX

An instance of SCP-XXXX in a home in ██████, Texas.

Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: All instances of SCP-XXXX are to be stored in a standard containment warehouse at Site-30. Each instance must be piled in stacks of ten with the door knob alternating each side as to prevent tipping. Each stack is to be wrapped with a graphene-polymer sleeve and stored on a wooden pallet for easy access and movement. All personnel are required to use proper Warehouse and Inventory management protocols when operating around instances of SCP-XXXX.

For testing purposes, there are to be three instances of SCP-XXXX stored within a standard testing chamber connected to brackets holding them upright. When SCP-XXXX is not in use, each instance is to be held closed via a stainless steel chain.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a recurring phenomenon manifesting on a wall or replacing a pre-existing door. Instances of SCP-XXXX vary in material appearance but retain pristine condition, and do not outwardly exhibit any anomaly.

An instance of SCP-XXXX is a door that, once opened, leads to a dimly candle lit corridor comprised of stone and clay (designated SCP-XXXX-1). On the wall across from SCP-XXXX is a black wooden door with red tinted metallic knob and hinges (designated SCP-XXXX-2). On the right wall is a short archway leading to a candle lit room with two chairs sitting on opposite sides of a small wooden table located in the center. Upon entering SCP-XXXX-1, SCP-XXXX can not be opened from the inside and a 2.1 m tall humanoid creature (designated SCP-XXXX-3) manifests within the archway.

SCP-XXXX-3 has red hairless leathery skin, roughly humanoid features, and several black, horn-like structures, protruding from the scalp. Its eyes are coated in an unknown yellow fluid that show traces of lead and anthrax. SCP-XXXX-3 wears a brown robe laced with a golden design of unknown origin. If necessary, SCP-XXXX-3 can be terminated by conventional means. If SCP-XXXX-3 is terminated, it will reappear within SCP-XXXX-1 after closing the instance of SCP-XXXX that it had originated and reopening it.

SCP-XXXX-3, after manifesting, will patiently ask an individual to join it in the opposite room. Individuals describe feeling the urge to comply but are not forced to do so. If an individual refuses to comply, SCP-XXXX-3 will begin to manifest into various people that hold sentimental meaning to the individual in an attempt to bait the them through the archway. If this tactic fails, SCP-XXXX-3 will return to its normal form and maintain eye contact with the individual whilst committing acts of violence to manifestations of people that hold meaning to them. Acts of violence include extreme bodily dismemberment and sickness that are intended to produce a response from an individual and coax them into the corridor.

Once an individual has been coaxed to enter, they are compelled to sit at the table and are unable to be persuaded otherwise by any means accept physical restraint (During which SCP-XXXX-3 will violently attack any trespassers). After an individual is seated, SCP-XXXX-3 will sit in the opposing chair and begin to speak with and question them about violent acts they had committed in the past or other guilt provoking instances. SCP-XXXX-3 tends to evoke extreme emotions beyond what might be considered normal whilst speaking to an individual; feelings of dread, anger, sadness, or fear are prevalent, and typically capitalizes on deep emotional guilt. SCP-XXXX-3 seemingly studies the individual and their responses in order to deduce what course of action to take. After SCP-XXXX-3 has completed its conversation, it dismisses the individual who unwillingly stands up and travels to either SCP-XXXX or SCP-XXXX-2 to enter. During this time the subject can be retrieved by a security team regardless of what door they were traveling to (this is met with the same violent response from SCP-XXXX-3).

Individuals will attempt to enter either SCP-XXXX or SCP-XXXX-2 after being dismissed at all costs, usually requiring more than one individual to restrain them. After leaving SCP-XXXX-1, the afflicted person no longer feels any urge to enter either door. Individuals that entered SCP-XXXX-2 are missing and any attempts to enter SCP-XXXX-2 have been met with failure.
