Special Containment Procedures: Item SCP-3165 is to be kept within its housing, in a locked non-reinforced concrete cell at all times. If personnel are to enter SCP-3165's cell they must remove all ferrous objects and electronics from their person. Personnel known to be acutely vulnerable to memetic effects are forbidden from entering SCP-3165's cell.

Description: SCP-3165 is a papyrus book grouping of papyrus scrolls with an unknown language written each page. The page count totals 42 with extreme wear and damage. SCP-3165 generates a potent magnetic field. The cause of this is as of yet unknown.

Subjects in the same room as SCP-3165 will become much more docile, reaching a fully relaxed state within 3 minutes. In this state subjects are non-verbal and non-responsive to stimuli. Any subject in this state acts aggressively hostile towards anyone who attempts to touch the book. Subjects are docile and unresponsive otherwise. The subjects during this docile state are extremely susceptible to suggestion while they are under the memetic effects of SCP-3165.

Post testing SCP-3165, subjects will start to obsess over the experience with the book. Subjects will attempt by any means to gain access to SCP-3165 after the initial exposure.

SCP-3165 was found in ██████ in 20██ by MTF Delta-5 ("Front Runners") after it was found that The Global Occult Coalition (GOC) was planning to use SCP-3165 █████████ ████ █████ ██ ███████ ███ █████ ██ █████. MTF Delta-5 ("Front Runners") was instructed to bring SCP-3165 to Site-15. During transport from site 15 to Site-77, SCP-3165 was damaged and subsequently had to be repaired. SCP-3165's original cover was un-salvageable. A replacement hardcover has been affixed to SCP-3165 to prevent further damage.
