Sargilli's First SCP

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: Due to the nature of SCP-XXXX, containment is not possible. All sightings should be reported immediately to Site-█ command by agents embedded in Airports around the world. The runway SCP-XXXX manifests next to should be closed for 3 hours under the cover story of an oil spill by Foundation operatives. Should SCP-XXXX attempt to taxi to the runway and take off, Foundation aircraft are to follow within visual range but are not to come within 2 kilometres of SCP-XXXX to ensure its de-manifestation is not witnessed by any civilian or naval craft.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a Q-300 model aircraft manufactured by Bombardier Aerospace. The aircraft itself varies in visual appearance depending on the location of its manifestation. SCP-XXXX will manifest at a major airport around the world every 24-72 hours, appearing on a side-road between a major taxi-way and runway. From here, it will sit motionless for approximately 2 hours 17 minutes, after which it will either de-manifest as soon as it is not being watched or in rare cases attempt to taxi onto the runway. Should SCP-XXXX begin taxiing onto the runway, it will ignore all messages from air-traffic controllers and continue moving regardless of proximity to other planes. SCP-XXXX ignores other aircraft on the runway, regardless of size, and will accelerate down the runway and take off. During take-off, SCP-XXXX will proceed to smash straight through any obstacles in its path, destroying other aircraft seemingly without impending its current speed or damaging SCP-XXXX itself.

According to visual records, SCP-XXXX does not have a crew or passengers on board. Viewing SCP-XXXX from the outside will reveal that it is empty, yet when taxiing, its controls will move by themselves. SCP-XXXX’s doors are locked and entry is impossible regardless of cutting power. The hull of SCP-XXXX is made of 2 parts steel to 1 part [REDACTED], and is capable of surviving extreme impact damage, allowing it to take off when obstructed. To date, SCP-XXXX has been responsible for 1█ aircraft destructions on runways resulting in the deaths of ██ people. SCP-XXXX first came to the Foundations attention after witness reports that a small aircraft taxied onto the runway and collided with another aircraft, only to continue its take-off. Witnesses were administered Class-A amnestics and released.

When airborne, instances of SCP-XXXXwill turn and fly on the fastest possible route to ██°██’ ██ ” South, ██°██’ ██” East. When SCP-XXXX reaches these coordinates, it will dive at speeds of up to 600km/h and plunge into the ocean, de-manifesting upon contact with the water. Foundation dive teams have found nothing of any significance at these coordinates within a kilometre radius. Any naval craft that witnesses SCP-XXXX disappearing is to be intercepted before it can reach the coast and the crew are to be given Class-A or B amnestics, as appropriate.
