Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid Keter

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is contained in Area-XXXX, which has been constructed around it. Area-XXXX is equipped with a barracks suitable to fit up to one hundred personnel, and an armory stocked with guns, parts, and ammunition produced before 1975. The center of Area-XXXX contains SCP-XXXX's chamber. SCP-XXXX's chamber is an open room measuring 25 m x 25 m x 10 m. The walls, ceiling, and floor of the chamber are constructed from 1 m thick reinforced concrete. The sole door of SCP-XXXX's chamber is a .5 m thick reinforced steel door. On either side of the outside of the door are concrete bunkers affixed with mounted heavy machine guns, which are to be manned by security personnel 24/7. In between the two bunkers is a Soviet produced MT-12 100 mm anti-tank gun which is to be armed by three personnel1 All other security personnel present in Area-XXXX are required to be armed with M16A1 rifles2 produced before 1975. Maintenance performed on SCP-XXXX's cell is only to be carried out within one week of it's previous invasion event with permission of at least one Level Four personnel. Area-XXXX is to be armed with a W70 nuclear warhead instead of the standard ███████ class nuclear warhead.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a concrete archway weighing around ten metric tons, the opening of which is 5 m across, and 3 m in height. The opening of SCP-XXXX is completely black on both sides of the object, and acts as a portal leading to an unknown secondary dimension. Any matter that comes into contact with the portal on SCP-XXXX is immediately pulled into it. Any attempts to prevent objects from being pulled in has failed, including the use of heavy machinery. Any attempts to record the interior of SCP-XXXX have failed, unless live audio is recorded from a recorder attached to a wire and a speaker.3 No objects pulled into SCP-XXXX have been recovered to date.

Occasionally, SCP-XXXX will undergo an "Invasion Event". Invasion events normally occur one week after each other, though the time can vary up to around six months, and in one particularly destructive event, ██ months. During an Invasion Event, colorless entities4 will emerge from SCP-XXXX, hereby referred to as SCP-XXXX-1, in groups that can range in number anywhere from a single instance to ████ instances. The shape of the instance and the devices used by them resemble human devices of war used from 1861 to 1975. All SCP-XXXX-1 instances that have emerged from SCP-XXXX have thus far been extremely hostile to all living humans, and all beings and devices that cause harm to the entities. SCP-XXXX-1 instances emit sound identical to the type of device or human they resemble, i.e., An instance armed with an United States Military model 60 light machine gun outfitted in what appears to be US Army tropical jungle fatigues may speak in English, while it's weapon emits sounds identical to sounds produced by it's counterpart. The SCP-XXXX-1 instances or the devices they use are unable to be damaged by any weapon or ammunition produced after 1975. Any attempts to kill an SCP-XXXX-1 entity with weapons or ammunition produced after 1974 have no observable effect upon the entity or device it is used upon. Otherwise, the entity or device is damaged or destroyed the same as its man-made counterpart would be. After destruction of an entity, the cadaver and any device the cadaver emerged from SCP-XXXX with will disintegrate into black particles, and the residue will propel itself back into SCP-XXXX.

SCP-XXXX was discovered in 2003 after reports of a terrorist attack in a rural town in North Kentucky. All police officers sent to investigate did not report back, and the Foundation was called to investigate. Upon arrival of Agents Richardson and White, a colorless human figure opened fire from a nearby building with what appeared to be a Mosin Nagant type bolt-action rifle. The assault rifles carried by both agents inflicted no damage upon entity. After Agent Richardson was killed while reloading, Agent White was quick to pull out his M1911 sidearm as a last resort, and neutralized the entity. SCP-XXXX was found in a nearby forest, and moved to Site-17.

Document XXXX-A: A partial log of recorded Invasion Events.

IE-2: Two weeks after the emergence of the first recorded entity, video cameras installed in SCP-XXXXs chamber recorded three SCP-XXXX-1 entities resembling North Korean forces during the Korean war slowly emerging from SCP-XXXX. When the entities reached the door at the front of the chamber, they planted an explosive charge onto the door, which effortlessly destroyed the door. Security forces neutralized the entities with M1911 pistols shortly after the breach, but sustained six casualties. Security armaments upgraded to include Korean War era United States Army assault rifles.

IE-5: Seven entities emerged from SCP-XXXX dressed in what appeared to be Confederate military fatigues, and muskets. Security was alerted, and the entities were neutralized with no casualties sustained.

IE-12: Within the space of ten seconds, forty entities rushed out of SCP-XXXX dressed in Viet Cong wear, equipped with 1955 AK-47 Type 3 Soviet produced assault rifles affixed with bayonets. Due to ongoing maintenance on SCP-XXXX's chamber, the door was left open. The SCP-XXXX-1 entities rushed out of the chamber, and proceeded to prowl the heavy containment sector of Site-██ using guerrilla tactics and superior weaponry. ██ casualties were sustained before the last entity was killed with an M2 flamethrower as it jumped down from a vent in the ceiling. Security armaments upgraded to include late production M16A1 rifles. Containment procedures updated to include security fortifications.

IE-52: A loud rattling sound was reported from within SCP-XXXXs chamber. Security entered the chamber, and fixed their weapons on SCP-XXXX. The sound continued getting louder until a Panzerkampfwagen VI Ausf. B "Bengal Tiger" heavy tank emerged from SCP-XXXX, almost instantly neutralizing all present security with it's coaxial machine gun. The tank proceeded to crash through the bunker and doors of SCP-XXXXs chamber, and got stuck in the hallway outside. Specialized forces were called, and the entity was neutralized with an M20A1B1 "Super Bazooka". This is the only recorded instance of a vehicle emergence from SCP-XXXX. Containment procedures were revised.

IE-103: No Invasion Events had occurred in ██ months, and specialized security forces were on stand-by. On April 2█, 201█, screaming was heard coming from SCP-XXXX for five minutes, steadily increasing in volume, until ████ SCP-XXXX-1 entities emerged from SCP-XXXX outfitted in Soviet fatigues used during World War II. An intense battle between security forces and the entities raged on Site-██ for seven hours, until a full containment breach was declared and the site was locked down. Detonation of the on-site nuclear warhead was considered futile due to it's late production date, and specialized MTF forces retook the site, encountering colorless bunkers, mounted machine guns, mines, anti-vehicle hedge hogs, and even three [DATA REDACTED], all without color. Containment was reestablished, and Area-XXXX was constructed, which the was then moved to. SCP-XXXX was upgraded to Keter class, and containment procedures were revised.

Addendum-XXXX-1: After IE-103, a few things have come to light. The primary issue with SCP-XXXX is that it does not appear to have a limit. If it can 'charge' for a few months and release something like that, who knows what it could do if it decided it wanted to wait for a few years? The second and more immediate issue is that we are running low on weaponry to combat instances of SCP-XXXX. There's only so many things we have available made before '75, and if something else like IE-103 were to occur, we may run dry. Then what? - Dr. █████
