Special Containment Procedures: SCP-3101 is to be contained in a soundproof cell, 15m x 3m (45 square meters), lined by concrete and reinforced plexiglass. Air ducts are to placed on the ground and the external propagation of sound waves are to be avoided at all cost. The cell is not to be provided with objects that may interfer with SCP-3101's perception of her surroundings. Clothes, paper sheets, pencils and hygiene products are to be provided in a bi-monthly basis. Any other requests by SCP-3101 are to be immediately denied.
SCP-3101 is to undergo a medical and psychological review in a bimonthly basis, along with 40 minutes of exercise in a quarterly basis, all accompanied by Dr. █████. SCP-3101 is not to be removed from the cell at any time, as it is said that her sound waves may seriously interfere with the possible communication devices, as well with the mental funcioning of people around the area occupied by SCP-3101. For that reason, any health assessment is to be done via intercom speaker (psychological review) or being equipped by a sound proofing head gear (medical examination).
Personnel are to monitor SCP-3101's behavior for violent episodes or agitation. If such episodes occur, MTF-Beta-22 are to await Dr. █████'s order to restrain and sedate SCP-3101.
Description: SCP-3101 is an 18 year old humanoid female of caucasian descent, weighing approximately 57.8 kilograms and 1.6 meters in height. SCP-3101 has short blue hair and hazel eyes lacking pupils. SCP-3101 rarely interacts with other individuals and when approached, she will immediately become more hostile and agressive towards the person. Subject's personality is described as unsympathetic and artistic, usually seen attempting to draw.
Upon further research, personnel have determined that SCP-3101 has extremely poor eyesight. SCP-3101 possess a melon (mass of adipose tissue that focuses and modulates any vocalizations) located in the subject's upper nasal cavity. For that reason, SCP-3101 constantly or uses echolocation (emitting high frequency modulated sound waves) to gain any sort of visual perception of her surroundings,cusually made by clicking noises, humming, snapping fingers or a high-pitched scream. Depending on the situation, the frequency of these waves may vary from 200 to 400kHz.
As a sound wave is emmited, it returns to SCP-3101 with a variety of informations about the subject/ object (eg.: shape, color, size, weight). Although SCP-3101 is nearly blind, interrogation via intercom determined that the subject gave a perfect description of her containment cell. Research personnel believe that echolocation capacitates a quick visual camp for SCP-3101.
