Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: During the day, past 5 am, SCP-XXXX Is allowed to request any class C personnel escort it around its containment block to prevent it from entering a rage state, though these escorts are generally requested, if SCP-XXXX has not been escorted for over 2.5 hours, it is made to go on one for a minimum of 10 minutes. As SCP-XXXX is unable to communicate vocally, on sight staff must learn sign language in order to communicate with SCP-XXXX. At 6 pm, onsite staff are to place SCP-XXXX back into its containment cell. SCPs room is to be locked with four steel rods, from bottom to top, on the outside of its door, to prevent SCP-XXXX from breaking the hinges of the door. This door is not to be opened at any time in the night, even if SCP-XXXX appears to have caused fatal damage to itself. Constant surveillance is required on SCP-XXXX, using a camera hidden within what SCP-XXXX is made to believe, is the locking mechanism of its door, to ensure that it does not breach its containment cell in the event of a Type-C rage state. SCP-XXXXs is to be given any book it asks for, as long as it was written before 1975, and does not already have 2 books in its possession. Books provided to SCP-XXXX must be paper back, with pages no larger than A5.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a humanoid, 2.2 meters tall, with an extremely emaciated body and a hunched over back. SCP-XXXXs upper arms are connected to its torso, preventing dexterous movement. Despite these physical limitations, SCP-XXXX shows strength and speed proportional to a human male of a similar size and weight. SCP-XXXX wears no clothes, and shows no sign of body hair or genitalia. SCP-XXXXs only facial features are its eyes. It is yet unknown how or SCP-XXXX hears. SCP-XXXX;s hands are connected to each other by the thumb, the middle phalanx of the index finger, and the tip of the middle finger. SCP-XXXX also has 8 fingers on each hand. SCP-XXXX has been shown capable of complex thought, communicating with staff its likes and dislikes, though it is unaware of current technology, and should not be made aware of any recent technological advancements.

SCP-XXXX understands that it is being held in custody for the safety of others, and often asks if there is anyway it can assist staff in chores, or tasks when being escorted around site. Due to its understanding of the situation, and the nature of SCP-XXXX, it has been made aware of the nature of many other SCPs that pose threats to staff. SCP-XXXX is allowed to assist in physical labour, unless it involves other SCPs or important documents, if it shows interest in helping.

SCP-XXXX has shown an ability to locate the last place, any person it is in contact with, has entered into REM sleep. It will then consider that place the home, or if instructed otherwise, containment cell of that person. If a target of this ability has never entered into REM sleep, SCP-XXXX will show disdain for it, claiming that it has no home. When asked, SCP-XXXX has refused to elaborate further as to why this upsets it.

During the day, SCP-XXXX is very docile; It has been observed to start up polite conversations with staff while being escorted around the premises, and ask for books, showing knowledge of publicly released non-fiction titles written even after its containment. It is however denied access to any book written before 1975, so as to prevent it learning about complex surveillance technologies. It is unknown how SCP-XXXX is able to know about books that were released after containment.

SCP-XXXX has been observed to fall into enraged states if it becomes increasingly unhappy. These states have been classified as Type-A B or C to denote the severity of its anger, and the danger it poses during these states. A distinction to be made, between these states of rage, and general upset in SCP-XXXX is its loss of conscious thought. SCP-XXXX claims to be able to see and hear what is going on during these states, but says its body acts autonomously.

Type-C: Type-C rage states pose the least threat as generally SCP-XXXX will only harm itself, and its containment cell, attempting to damage doors/walls. This state is caused if SCP-XXXX remains in the same room for any longer than 6 hours. This claustrophobia occurs even in larger and more interesting rooms. SCP-XXXX sometimes falls into this state when placed in its room for the night, as it does not always go to sleep right away. SCP-XXXX does not even a rage state while in REM sleep itself.

Type-B: Type-B rage states are caused when SCP-XXXX comes into contact with any other SCP that it has been made to aware poses a threat to staff, or D class personal. If SCP-XXXX comes into contact with a dangerous SCP or D class personal, that is not also being escorted by staff, it will attempt to subdue it, asking it once to return to its containment, before attacking the entity. This has resulted in the destruction of ██ D class, and █ SCPs. SCP-XXXX is only a threat to the target of a Type-B rage state. If SCP-XXXX is just about to fall into a Type-B rage state, it is possible for staff to prevent it, by telling SCP-XXXX that security has been called, and will take care of it, even if it is not yet the case.

Type-A: Type-A rage states post the most threat, as SCP-XXXX becomes hard to control or contain. Type-A rage states are caused when SCP-XXXX comes into contact with living being past 8pm. If the being is not shown to be in REM sleep, or in the place SCP-XXXX denotes its home, SCP-XXXX will first ask the being to return home. If SCP-XXXX is met with inaction, or a negative response, it will attempt to forced the being, towards its identified home. If SCP-XXXX is unable to access this place, or the target of SCP-XXXXs aggression moves out of eye shot, SCP-XXXX will return to its docile state, However, if the target continues to resist, SCP-XXXX will destroy it. SCP-XXXX will then also attempt to destroy any organism that perceived it killing its original target. SCP-XXXX only becomes docile again if all living beings it can detect are dead, or it itself incapacitated. During a Type-A rage state SCP-XXXX is able to run at 18 meters per second. The method SCP-XXXX uses to destroy living beings, is by grabbing it by the head, and pressing down with its fingers, until the skull entirely implodes. At certain times, typically when SCP-XXXX is more injured, the crushing has been observed to only occur under where the fingers had been. If the target of SCP-XXXX does not have an obvious head, it will attack the part of the body that resembles a cranium.

Following a rage state, over a 5 hour period, SCP-XXXX will completely heal any damage to itself, no matter how severe. Conversations with SCP-XXXX have shown that while it doesnt feel the pain of its wounds in the moment, at the end of a rage state, any and all pain will come to it during the healing process.

Addendum: During breach of SCP-████, SCP-XXXX has been observed to have no understanding of regenerative properties, of others, during a rage state. If a target that is thought to be dead, regenerates from its wounds, SCP-XXXX will still consider it dead, unless it begins to engage SCP-XXXX in any way.
