Note from O5-█: Outside of this Dialogue, SCP-2711 remains uncontained within foundation archives. Foundation engineers have managed to prevent its reverse spread into primary networks, but due to the nature of SCP-2711, unstable fragments within the secondary networks and associated entries have become trapped as redundant fragments in this entry. Continuing beyonnn … d this point is highly disS … couraged for all personnel and strictly forbidden for anyone with Level-$4 clearance or higher, or anyone working directly with WIth WiT4 Keeeeeeeeeee… . ter class objects.

There isn't much time to explain. If you've gotten this far, you're lucky. So where to begin…You can only store so many skips before the facade comes crashing down. We thought it'd be some witch-devil bringing fire and brimstone to earth or a giant paradox in time sucking us all into oblivion. We were wrong. So so so so wrong.
It begain with with wtih whit … with the identification and containment of the original SCP-27!1. One of our techs had written a script that had crashed. Wasn't going to be a problem, we though, the stack crashes and the script resets to null. At first we were right, but this script behaved strangely, running the same stack over and over. It was a strange phenomenon; with no coded order, it continued to run the same script, crash and repeat. We left it alone which was our first mistake.
Networks have a strange way of degrading over time, which, combined with our own hubris, leads us to this point. We simply expected the script to continue to run indefinitely. And unfortunately for us, it di'!0'!0'!0'!0'.wheresben.jpg.SUBMI!!I!II!II!T' … did. But by the time we saw what happened it was too late. Our techs began noticing code fragments present in the stack that were copied directly from the foundation firewalls and network architecture
What we found represents the reverse of programming entropy. Instead of new commands being written and introduced into an ever increasing pool of scripts, the program had somehow taken individual commands and learned how to arrange them in such a way as to improve and shorten the algorithms that produced them. About that time was when we started to notice glitches in other systems. 1001 errors here, crashes there. Basic IT stuff, but it started to get regular. We looked again into the old computer and what we discovered shouldn't be able to exist.
Somehow, free of hardware upgrades, the script had created a recursive entanglement program allowing it to begin re-writing other program kernel data from this single machine. If we could recreate this function to work for us, the results would change the world, but as it is, the program grows, learning how to take thousands of lines of code and reduce them to a few hundred characters.
We realized that if this behavior continued, the archives that documented the SCPs across our entire organization would be eaten whole and we'd lose everything. So we started feeding it. One of our programmers wrote a counterscript to analyze and copy every line of code the machine already knew and act as an autofeeder. At this point that contained about six million billion lines of code, about 750 terabytes. On the first dump, the program took two months to finish compiling. The second time it took three days. Over the past fifteen hours, I've dumped the codes over 100 times. The dump program is recursive, but eventually the querying will overwrite it's script and it'll be eaten as well. Physical reality may not be collapsing, but the virtual one is. And we don't know how to stop it.
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: Due to the inherent unpredictability of SCP-XXXX's movement, Containment efforts should focus on the deterrence of civilian and military presence in areas where SCP-XXXX is known to manifest. Foundation assets embedded in the meteorological, astronomical and military communities are to monitor aerial and low orbital photography for evidence of SCP-XXXX. Commercial and military aircraft are to be re-routed away from flight paths sympathetic with SCP-XXXX's vector of incidence. In the case of civilian or military discovery, MTF Tau-14 will be dispatched to administer amnestic treatments to those involved.
In the event of a translocation event, it is imperative that mathematicians employed by the foundation calculate the island's location as well as viable approachable vectors within no less than 6 hours. Viable vectors will be disseminated via the appropriate channels to international aviation and maritime authorities. Air and sea vessels on viable vectors will be rerouted as failure to do so has been shown to trigger translocation events in approximately ██% of cases.
Note from O5-█: In order to mitigate the occurrence of translocation events, Epsilon-32 exercises are to be discontinued until it is more fully understood what triggers translocation events of the site.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a temporal-spatial anomaly surrounding the island of ███████, which, until 19██ housed ██████ Air Force Base and Site-██ and was located at [REDACTED]. Following Incident 33-Zulu on the morning of February 9th, 19██, the island now undergoes translocation events at random. No pattern has yet emerged regarding the timing of these events. The island has been detected by USGS, meteorological, and military satellite imaging although the locations observed by these sources often contradict each other. See Addedum XXXX-1 for eyewitness interviews.
Because of the anti-dimensional nature of the anomaly, SCP-XXXX is only approachable from certain vectors. Eyewitness accounts from craft approaching the island on inviable vectors will either observe no landmass or one that moves in contradiction of euclidian geometry along the assumed vector of travel. Accounts on viable vectors will nearly always experience some form of vertigo followed by bright light and mechanical or electrical failure of their vessel, leading to emergency arrival on the island.
SCP-XXXX-1 is a Class-IV incorporeal entity, detectable through enhanced electromagnetic wave analysis. In high particulate environments (such as those high in dust or snow) the entity is visible through disruptions in the ambient particles.
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Keter Euclid (Reclassified ██/██/20██)

Subject: SCP-XXXX Containment
Body: Damien,Let me go on record as saying, I, along with several other prominent members of the council, are disappointed in your recommendation to allow SCP-XXXX to maintain its autonomy. While we are certainly unsure of the destructive capabilities of SCP-XXXX, we know enough to realize it has the possibility to instigate destruction on a continental (if not global) scale. This fact alone should be sufficient to convince you of the necessity of its containment.
SCP: Secure, Contain, Protect. Because of these principles, the foundation has long ensured the continued survival of humanity, Earth, and reality as a whole. Your decision to allow SCP-XXXX its freedom, stand in stark contrast to the core of our mission as an organization and serve to undermine the necessity of our operation. Because of your unwillingness to properly assess and contain this threat, I will be lobbying for your removal as head of SCP-XXXX operations and the immediate revision of containment protocols at the earliest opportunity.
███████
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a 5m x 5m humanoid containment cell at Site-19. The walls of the cell are to be fitted with non-porous, non-corrosive, ablative alloy and reinforced with no less than 4m of hardened concrete. Each wall should be fitted with triangular bracing every 1m, enabling it to withstand no less than 240,000 N of direct force.
The door of SCP-XXXX's containment cell is to be composed of solid steel-titanium alloy, with its inner surface coated in the same ablative alloy as the rest of the cell. The dimensions of this door should measure 0.76m wide by 1.37m tall and no less than 0.31m thick, mounted in a sliding fashion to prevent the necessity of hinges. The door is to be triple locking with three pins (.16m in diameter) securing it on both sides of the frame. When closed, three additional triangular reinforcements should be mounted to it to prevent potential compromise.
SCP-XXXX is to be kept under constant surveillance and sedated using Class-F sedatives. The base of SCP-XXXX's skull is to be fitted with an electric disruption node to prevent its movement. If at any time SCP-XXXX shows signs of movement, personnel are authorized to activate the EDN to immobilize it.
Should containment fail at any time, protocol Cypher-111 is to be executed immediately.
Special Containment Procedures: As the resources required to contain SCP-XXXX outweigh the benefits of doing so, SCP-XXXX is routinely monitored by MTF Gamma-15 operatives at all times. Operatives are to follow covert observation protocols, maintaining cover within a █ mile radius of SCP-XXXX's place of residence. Should the entity exhibit any aggressive behavior toward civilian populations, protocol Cypher-111 is authorized and should be executed immediately.
At this time, containment of SCP-XXXX-1 has been deemed impossible. Cooperation with SCP-XXXX has proven to mitigate SCP-XXXX-1 intrusions into classified material. Following Incident 22-Delta, All sensitive material is to be moved to closed-circuit mainframes and quad-pass erased from connected devices.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a humanoid male roughly 1.9 meters in height and weighing 201.8 kilograms. Despite its weight, SCP-XXXX holds normal human proportions for its height. Additional weight is due to metallic ossification of SCP-XXXX's skeletal structure as well as several non-organic internal components:
- Organic bone structure has been combined with an unidentified alloy. gMRI imaging has determined that SCP-XXXX's bones maintain a porous honeycomb structure, allowing for the presence of bone marrow, while maintaining a compressive and tensile strength ratio of at least 1000:1.
- Two miniaturized reactors of unknown design located dorsally to the lungs, equidistant to the center of mass. Estimations of power output is inconclusive and examination of the reactors has proven impossible without vivisection of the entity. Current working theory conjectures that the core of each reactor houses a sort of inverse singularity, capable of unlimited output.
- An intricate, inorganic computational network connected at various points throughout the muscular, nervous and circulatory system. This network appears to be connected through a central processing hub located at the base of the brain stem, housing SCP-XXXX-1.
- Assorted capacitors, servomechanisms, and other integrated biomechanical components for the production and telemetry of particle weaponry, projected through the hands, feet and eyes.
SCP-XXXX is sapient and has previously communicated with foundation agents, demonstrating understanding of English, French, Spanish, German, Russian, and Japanese, however, due to the presence of SCP-XXXX-1, it is believed that SCP-XXXX is capable of interpreting and understanding languages in real time. SCP-XXXX has actively assisted in the foundation in the containment of SCP-███, SCP-███, SCP-████, SCP-████, SCP-████. has shown awareness to foundation monitoring techniques but will ignore agents that do not interfere with its routine.
SCP-XXXX-1 is an advanced artificial intelligence

Item #: SCP-2809
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: As replication of SCP-2809 appears to be semi-independent of genetic factors, containment should focus on both gene manipulation as well as containment and termination of SCP-2809 positive individuals, hereafter SCP-2809-1. Individuals identified as carriers of SCP-2809 are to be identified using MRI and CT scanning data obtained by agents embedded within the medical community. Individuals are to be monitored for signs of psychosis, schizophrenia, hallucinatory responses and strong religious affiliation. Those deemed carriers of both the aforementioned are to be terminated at the earliest possible opportunity. SCP-2809-1 individuals who are not susceptible to the aforementioned mental disorders are to be detained for questioning.
Description: SCP-2809 is a nerve bundle in the human brain bridging the temporal and parietal lobe. SCP-2809 is found in approximately 85% of subjects, although its anomalous properties only manifest in ██%. Subjects affected by SCP-2809 appear to function within accepted parameters as defined by the DSM-IV in all manners of life and thus far, research has failed to prove correlation between

Description:
"Welcome Mr. Glady."
"Hey Doc, anything new to report today."
"Not a thing, Evan. How are you holding up?"
"Alright I suppose. I've been here for six months and no one has offered me more than a few words as to the point of a mobile containment site. I understand— or I think I have a grasp on what this girl is…"
"Firstly, Evan, don't get attached to the skip. "It" not "her", and "subject" not "girl". You have to remain distant and I'm concerned you haven't been. 105 will be alright. Remember, the foundation is cold, not cruel."
"You don't call this cruelty, Doc? We kidnapped her, subjected her to testing, assigned her to an MTF and put her in a competition with Able. You don't call that cruel?"
"No, I don't. The foundation is tasked with protecting humanity from anomalies like 105 and in light of recent events, SCP's are now the last of our worries. Do you know we're up to 2k now?"
"No, I didn't."
"We're having to offload our archives to hard disk and send them to Site ME-1 to make sure the Agency can't access them. Why do you think we've been moving from town to town for the past month without any real orders? O5 can't reach us. 105 is our priority and the other teams have theirs."
"What happened at 19?"
"Evan, you have to know that these questions would have gotten you fired six months ago, probably amnestics as well."
"That was six months ago. Rules kinda went out the window when we had to start improvising, didn't they?"
"I guess it can't hurt, but on the chance that everything evens out, I'm remanding you for amnestic treatment. Basically, we encountered the agency during recovery of 512. They were far more aggressive than expected. The recovery teams weren't prepared for a firefight which meant they managed to get 512. Strangely, we wound up with one of their agents, which led to an exchange. Only instead of 512, they brought something else. Definitely an SCP by our standards.
