Object Class: Anomalous Keter
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-3000 is this file, designated SCP-3000-1. It does not occupy any other physical space other than the sheet underneath this one. (See Addendum-7/03/201█)
Description: While SCP-3000 occupies no physical space consistently, it does exist spontaneously in the instance it is observed by a personnel other than the persons viewing the page beneath. The sheet appeared on Dr. Fornes' desk on 12/31/1999 and was promptly designated an anomalous object. While the image itself is not the infohazard itself, it will deliver the same effect as visually observing the entity. To clarify, the entity manifests, hereby designated SCP-3000-2, by observing the infohazard, this is the "Patient 0" of the infohazard, from which point any persons that visually acquire the entity are affected by the infohazard.
Addendum-1/03/2000: While no anomalous effects initially manifested, Dr. Fornes reported seeing shadowy figures while at his home and while in his office at Site-██ in the days after the manifestation of the paper.. On his lunch break, Dr. Fornes mentioned to a co-worker having dreams of SCP-███. Dr. Fornes was then reprimanded and terminated.
Addendum-1/27/2000: Following the termination of Dr. Fornes, SCP-3000 was officially designated Keter.
Addendum-2/08/200█: Due to the termination of Dr. Fornes immediately after his exposure to the source, the memetic nature of the infohazard was not initially observed. It was not until Junior Researcher Lynn accidentally exposed himself to the source while filing SCP-3000. The Level 4 personnel was indisposed while Dr. Lynn processing the file. This is a breach of protocol and the personnel responsible will be punished accordingly.
Addendum-2/09/200█: Senior Researchers Smith and Elmo were given clearance to monitor Junior Researcher Lynn to record the effects of the infohazard. Concurrently, SCP-3000-1 is contained in the same filing cabinet Dr. Lynn placed it after he was exposed.
Addendum-2/29/200█: The surveillance of Dr. Lynn produced several discoveries into how the infohazard operates. As expected, Lynn reported seeing shadowy figures in his home and office; however, when he asked an standerby if they see the figure while pointing to SCP-3000-2. The bystander was later found [REDACTED] and their remains [REDACTED]. Lynn also complained of nightmares, most notably about how to destroy SCP-682 using SCP-███, an SCP he does not have read-in clearance for. For the sake of research, Lynn was not reprimanded.
Addendum-7/03/201█: Junior Researcher Lynn has been admitted to psychiatric care. He is mentally unconscious; Foundation neurologists have deemed Dr. Lynn clinically braindead. However, despite void higher brain function, he still verbally repeats repeating the phrase "All around me."
