Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a secure locker measuring 30 x 30 x 30 centimeters . The key to the padlock is to be held by personnel with at least a level 2 security clearance. If contact with SCP-XXXX is made, immediately consume the red wine and do not share the wine with other personnel.
Description: SCP-XXXX is the designation given to an empty chalice measuring 12.3 centimeters in diameter at its widest and is 19 centimeters tall.The chalice is constructed out of an unknown white/purple crystalline material. The age of SCP-XXXX appears to be approximately ████ years old suggesting that it was created during the [REDACTED] civilisation. The chalice was discovered on █/█/2013 after its owner appeared to be [REDACTED] (see Addendum XXXX-1).
The chalice's anomalous property arises when in contact with humans. When contact on any part of the chalice is made with a human, it produces 250 ml of red wine referred to as SCP-XXXX-1, described by personnel as being a normal red wine with no special qualities. When analysed by a chemist, the wine had an alcohol content of 16.18%. Wine is not produced if the chalice comes in contact with non-human organic material. The mechanic behind the production of SCP-XXXX-1 is unknown and appears to have an endless supply (see Addendum XXXX-2).
SCP-XXXX-1's anomalous property is seen when consumed by personnel other then those who initiate production of SCP-XXXX-1. When consumed by the subject, SCP-XXXX-A, he began to cough up substantial amounts of a red liquid, later found to be a mixture of blood and SCP-XXXX-1. SCP-XXXX-A fell to the floor, and subsequently died. Autopsy later revealing that SCP-XXXX-A drowned as his lungs and digestive system were found to have been filled with wine and severe lacerations were also observed in his lungs. Additional tests revealed that if SCP-XXXX-1 is not consumed within █ hours, the effects of the wine appear to be reversed. Meaning the subject who initiates production of SCP-XXXX-1 is killed.
Addendum XXXX-1: Notes on retrieval of SCP-XXXX: Owner deceased upon discovery and cause of death was suicide by ingesting SCP-XXXX-1 after █ hours.
Addendum XXXX-2: If SCP-XXXX-1 is poured out, SCP-XXXX will continue to produce volumes of wine equal to the volume of wine poured out until it is either consumed or no more wine is poured out. SCP-XXXX has been observed to produce wine without interruption for 100 hours.
