SCP-2441 (Beta stage I suppose)

Item SCP-2441 “The Wallet”

Object Class : Euclid

Special Containment Procedures : SCP-2441 Is to be locked inside a blast proof safe with a 9-digit-password, and under 24/7 surveillance by appropriately assigned Level 2 security personnel. This safes 9-digit-password may only be disclosed to level 3 research personnel by those with level 4 security clearance, appropriate paper work and approval must also be cleared before any disclosure of the password.

Description: SCP-2441 is a brown, bi-fold, smooth leather wallet that consists of two card slips, a coin compartment that can be closed via a zipper, as well as a main compartment typically for holding notes that can also be closed by a zipper similar to the coin compartment. No brands or markings can be found on the interior or exterior of SCP-2441. Our researches have determined that SCP-2441 had either been handmade or [BLANK]
Upon closer examination of SCP-2441, it was discovered that the stitching along the seams of SCP-2441 had been woven with both human and [BLANK] hair. After extracting a sample of both hair types from SCP-2441, it was decided that the human hair belonged to a female, and the sample of the [BLANK] hair, [BLANK] [BLANK], at first raising suspicion, but should not be considered a problem.

Asides from the materials SCP-2441 is made with, the actual phenomenon resides within its primary compartment, the coin compartment and card slips do not show any signs of similar traits as of yet. When the user of SCP-2441 attempts to purchase an item, the zipper would be closed and then opened, the exact amount of money required to purchase the item would appear inside the primary compartment. Despite how appealing and harmless this sounds, we found that the more money that is spent by a test subject using SCP-2441, the more they will feel compelled to continue buying.

Testing SCP-2441 was satisfactory in its simplicity, and results rarely varied. Researchers set up a fake shop with multiple items ranging from magazines, drinks and other confectionary products. Our first ten test subjects had been given SCP-2441 and where told that they may buy as much as they pleased with the amount of money in the “Wallet”. Once a test subject would proceed to the checkout to finish their shopping , they would unzip the main pocket and find that the exact amount of money needed to purchase the chosen items would be found inside, after completing the purchase, the test subject would then wonder around the shop and pick out more items to purchase. After three or four more purchases, usually consisting of stacks of the same magazines and chocolate bars, the test subject would begin to complain about a pain in the knees. After about fifteen more purchases of the same magazines and sugary treats, the test subject would begin limping, hair would start falling out and skin would begin to show signs of rapid aging. The chosen first ten test subjects had lasted about an hour to an hour and a half before collapsing to the floor, complaining of extreme pain in they’re whole bodies before finally dying. See Prof. Harry Dortell’s notes for further details on other tests with SCP-2441

Autopsies of the test subject’s bodies have shown that the cause of all deaths had been from a heart failure. Symptoms of extreme arthritis in the joints of the arms and legs are easily noticeable. See Doctor E.[BLANK]’s report for further medical details and synopsis.
