Item #: SCP-xxxx

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-xxxx is kept in a six (6) m spherical room. Located in Wyoming USA, Its containment should be kept between 32 degrees Celsius and 100 degrees Celsius. Five (5) cameras are to be kept at all axes save for the entrance into its containment. SCP-xxxx should be monitored at least every hour, if not constantly. In the event that visual contact with SCP-xxxx is lost, one (1) D class personal should be sent in to replace any damaged equipment. To reduce risk to personnel, any persons entering SCP-xxxxs containment for non testing purposes are to wear a protective suit with ice packs attached to the outside. Suits must be evaluated to make sure the surface of the suit is below 32 degrees Celsius. Suits should be equipped with breathing equipment to keep carbon dioxide down.

SCP-xxxx-1 should be left in containment with SCP-xxxx for 3 hours to give SCP-xxxx enough time to reabsorb SCP-xxxx-1. If SCP-xxxx1 is not absorbed within the time given, security should be sent in to terminate any instances of it.

Description: SCP-xxxx is a large floating spherical body roughly 16 cm in diameter. It changes hue in relation to its three (3) states; white, gray, and black. SCP-xxxx has a prime area of effect of two (2) meters. Weakened forms of its effects can be felt for an additional three (3) meters.

When white, SCP-xxxx gives off varying amounts of visible light. It will also repel objects with no clear pattern in this state using unknown force, theorized to be unseen radiation, as well as possibly increasing air pressure using gasses it has absorbed.
The object will exert constant extreme force on any object with a surface temperature below 32 degrees Celsius.

SCP-xxxx has been seen ejecting matter, often it has been seen to absorb; though objects it has never been seen to encounter have also been spat out. In addition the objects always have a surface temperature below 32 degrees Celsius. Though highly unlikely, SCP-xxxx has on some occasions jettisoned liquids out from itself. If its containment fills with any liquid fully, it will cease production of the substance; however it may still produce solid objects. On one rare occasion it produces heat from itself in the form of fire. The fire completely filled its prime area of effect, the flames reached no further than 3 meters from its prime area. It is because of this that the cell is spherical; as any objects closer to SCP-xxxx than the walls of its containment will be quickly degraded from the repeating force applied by SCP-xxxx.

When gray, SCP-xxxx produces radio waves, microwaves, and infrared radiation without any clear pattern save for Incident Report SCP-xxxx-A1. Any attempts to damage SCP-xxxx in this state will cause it to revert into its black form instantly. SCP-xxx-1 has never spawned during this state while in Foundation custody.

When black, While in this form, the object has a chance to take in any objects inside its primary area of effect. No objects should be in its containment chamber during this stage aside from SCP-xxxx-1. SCP-xxxx will absorb any object with a surface temperature above 100 degrees Celsius. While in this state, the object has a chance of growth between 1 cm and 3 cm if it has taken in any objects recently. It seems that the size of SCP-xxxx correlates with the chance of spawning of SCP-xxxx-1

SCP-xxxx-1 are living organisms, believed to be biped. A more clear description of SCP-xxxx-1 is not yet possible, as SCP-xxxx will absorb nearly all light nearby so long as SCP-xxxx-1 is active. SCP-xxxx-1 will attempt to drag any living mammal into SCP-xxxx along with itself. It would see that the chance of SCP-xxxx-1 appearing increases exponentially as carbon dioxide levels increase.

Addendum SCP-xxxx-C1: In light of the events of Test log SCP-xxxx-B1, upgrade to keter pending.
