Item #: SCP-2529

Object Class: Keter

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-2959-1 is to be kept in a 15 x 15 x 15 meter containment chamber at Site-██. The interior of the chamber is to be lit as to cause harm to SCP-2959-2 iterations. The containment area is to be locked from the outside and personnel can only exit through decontamination chambers with the specific security code input by two Level 3 or above clearance staff. Inside, six armed security personnel in armored hazmat suits are to patrol the chamber with automatic assault shotguns. Once every week, on Sundays, procedure 716-Cerberus must be performed. Failure to do so could potentially lead to a K-class scenario.

Description: SCP-2959 contains three parts.

SCP-2959-1 is a sink with arcane carvings stating [COGNITOHAZARD REMOVED]. SCP-2959 has an estimated capacity of ███ milliliters. SCP-2959-1 was recovered on █/██/201█ by Agent [REDACTED] in St. Petersburg, Russia during a raid on a suspected Serpent’s Hand warehouse (See incident report SCP-2959-█) . SCP-2959-1 measures 1.5 meters tall, and the drainage bowl measures .6 meters in circumference. When the handles are turned, the faucet releases blood of unknown origin. Testing has been inconclusive. The amount or volume of liquid coming out does not affect the volume of blood inside the drainage bowl. SCP-2959-1 contains no place for a water pipe to be attached. The handles and faucet are composed of an unknown metal and the body and the drainage bowl of a porcelain like material. Attempts to overflow or pour in a foreign liquid into SCP-2959-1 will be met with immediate termination by stationed security personnel when not taking place during procedure 716-Cerberus (see experimentation log 2959-1-██).

SCP-2959-2 are small entities, resembling a cross between a member of the Nephropidae family and [REDACTED]. They posses talons that can cut through steel, resembling those of a *Haliaeetus leucocephalus,* a mouth containing an estimated 50 teeth that have a bite strength exceeding ████ N, can travel at speeds up to twenty KPH, and produce clouds of an incurable strain of anthrax. They attack personnel in numbers during procedure 716-Cerberus, causing ██ near failures of the procedure. SCP-2959-2 iterations are approximately fourteen kilograms in weight, a length of thirty centimeters, and have a height of fifteen centimeters. Approximately every fifteen to thirty minutes, eight to twenty five entities crawl out of SCP-2959-1’s blood basin in rapid succession. SCP-2959-2 seems to be negatively affected by bright lights, the cause of which is unknown. Bright lights appear to impair SCP-2959-2's motor skills. They are extremely hostile, and should be terminated on sight by stationed personnel. If security personnel are overwhelmed, HCN gas canisters are to be launched into the chamber to incapacitate SCP-2959-2 iterations and new personnel sent in immediately.

SCP-2959-3 is a massive entity tied to SCP-2959-1. SCP-2959-3 shifts its form, but mostly remains in the form of a genderless humanoid. Some of the other entities it has shifted into include a centaur, *Haliaeetus leucocephalus*, *Homarus americanus*, and [REDACTED] It currently has the abilities to create swarms of SCP-2959-2, launch spheres of napalm out of its palms, send bolts of lightning out of its fingertips, and [DATA EXPUNGED]. When SCP-2959-3 materializes, it nearly triples in size and power of the previous materialization. It is predicted that a third breach of SCP-2959-3 could result in a K-class scenario. Procedure 716-Cerberus must be performed every week on Sundays, and if not performed, SCP-2959-3 will materialize. SCP-2959-3 has materialized two times. See incident reports SCP-2959-3-A and B.
