Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: The shack in which SCP-XXXX was encountered was relocated to an outdoor area of Site-19. The door and windows of the shack were SCP-XXXX lives must remain locked all the time, except for testing. Experiments involving SCP-XXXX are to be approved by at least two Level 3 personnel.

No contact is to be made with SCP-XXXX under any circumstances unless for testing reasons.

Description: : SCP-XXXX-1 is an albino human male, between the ages of 10-12 years, without any hair, and unremarkable facial features. SCP-XXXX appears slightly malnourished, even with the fact that the subject doesn’t appear to require food or sleep.

SCP-XXXX-1’s anomalous properties manifests when anybody tries to make any kind of physical contact with it. An unidentified kind of radiation surrounds SCP-XXXX-1 constantly, up to a range of 1.5cm. Any material, organic or inorganic, entering its range will suffer one of the following effects:

• Transportation to a different area up to a range of 300km by unknown means. When questioned, subjects report no memory of the travel, stating that they “Just blinked and appeared there”. Similar effect happens with inorganic materials, also presenting extreme misshaping upon appearing, even with materials such as titanium or [DATA EXPUGNED].
• Complete disappearance. It is unknown if subjects are transported further from the observed range, or simply dematerialize.
• High speed materials, such as bullets, will lose momentum and stop in mid air.
• [DATA EXPUGNED]. After the event, janitorial staff demanded a salary raise.

The area of effect of SCP-XXXX-1 was observed affecting different layers of tissue or material. It is unknown if the amount of time of contact is relevant, or if the effect is entirely random.

SCP-XXXX-2 is a small (3m x 3m x 3m) wooden shack, with only one door and three small windows, but completely devoid of any furniture or source of light. Besides the fact that SCP-XXXX-2 can resist SCP-XXXX-1’s anomalous properties, it has been proved that SCP-XXXX-2 is capable of enduring most forms of damage. Since recovery, SCP-XXXX-1 never made an attempt to get close to the door while it was open.

SCP-XXXX-1 appears to be sentient, but not intelligent, demonstrated by its limited numbers of activities, including pacing around SCP-XXXX-2, leaning on the walls, looking through the windows and “hiding” in a corner while saying in an almost inaudible different words, later to be found to be the word “untouchable” on different languages. SCP-XXXX-1 does not react to outside sound and light stimuli.
It’s theorized that light and sound does not cross its range of effect, evidenced by the fact that SCP-XXXX-1 seems to be oblivious to any type of stimulus. Temperature tests show that SCP-XXXX-1 is not surrounded by oxygen or outside heat. How SCP-XXXX-1 survives this condition is unknown.

SCP-XXXX was encountered after rumors of a “haunted shack” on the outskirts of ██████████ forest, with reports of multiple disappearances and paranormal events reached Foundation attention. Due to the strong structural stability of SCP-XXXX-2, it was relocated with little to no trouble. Disappearances due to SCP-XXXX-1 were attributed to wild animals inhabiting the forest. The rest of civilians exposed were interrogated and given B-class amnesiacs.

Addendum XXXX-01
With authorization of the site Overseer, a 1.5 meter pole was made using ████████ and a D-class was instructed to touch SCP-XXXX shoulder with it. Upon the first touch, SCP-XXXX started looking around frantically, as if scared, and quickly moved to a corner on the opposite direction. SCP-XXXX reacted to the second touch with similar results, but the third one was encountered with SCP-XXXX shivering in an agitated manner, and then loudly crying for the next 15 minutes, after which SCP-XXXX resumed its regular activities, but with slower movements.

Researcher’s notes: Dr. ██████: It’s obvious that ████████ can resist SCP-XXXX’s “danger zone”, but it was obvious that the outside stimulus was enough to startle it. Yes, that kid is potentially dangerous, but for some reason, refuses to leave its shack. Leaving it alone appears to be enough for a long-term containment.
