Item #: SCP-&
Object Class: Euclid // Neutralized
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-&-1 is to be kept in a Mark III-L Containment Locker at Site-17. SCP-&-1 is to be stored without power in it's containment facility, with the keys stored in a Mark I-S Containment Locker also located at Site-17. Access to SCP-&-1 is only to be granted with prior approval by an O5 Councilmember as well as the current Temporal Anomalies Chairperson. (Currently Thaddeus Xyank)
Testing of SCP-&-1 has currently been suspended by O5 Command.
SCP-&-2 has been neutralized. Prior containment procedures are rendered null.
Description: SCP-&-1 is an vehicle of uncertain origin, believed to originate from an alternate but similar timeline. SCP-&-1 is a car with extensive presumed modifications that allow it to travel forwards in time in controlled ways, as well as sideways in uncontrolled ways.1 While SCP-&-1 is similar to cars produced by the Ford brand and bears manufacturing marks of that brand, it does not match any cars produced by that brand.
SCP-&-1 was heavily damaged upon arrival into our timeline, and has only been able to travel for short instances into the future. Time-travel using SCP-&-1 is one-way, and cannot be used to alter the past. Thus, the usage of SCP-&-1 does not present danger of a temporal paradox and is a low priority temporal anomaly.
Researchers who utilize SCP-&-1 report experiencing anomalous dreams showing them events that occurred during the time period they "skipped" using SCP-&-1. These visions are random, and do not appear to have any relation to the user or their location before using SCP-&-1. These visions typically represent arbitrarily important events.2 All visions that have been checked have been cross referenced as being correct.
SCP-&-2 is an anomalous humanoid that was the original pilot of SCP-&-1, attempting to use the device when it arrived in our timeline. SCP-&-2 claims to be a scientist who departed the year 2031, and traveled for short periods into the future. However, they lost control of SCP-&-1, and arrived in our timeline. SCP-&-2 is unable to explain how they were able to alternate timelines, having only built SCP-&-1 to travel forward in time.
SCP-&-2 has numerous, minor differences from baseline humans, which have led to it's designation as an SCP object rather than a PoI. None of the anomalies possessed by SCP-&-2 relate to temporal anomalies or manipulation.3
- SCP-&-2 is resistant to the majority of memetic and cognitohazardous affects utilized by the Foundation, as well as the majority of other such effects tested. No response has been indicated when SCP-&-2 was tested.
- SCP-&-2 is immune to all amnestics employed by the Foundation.
- SCP-&-2's DNA is 99.4% similar to non-anomalous humanoids.
- SCP-&-2 has several health defects, but claims these defects do not exist in their baseline timeline or are typical in their original reality. These include: lactose interolerance, sociopathy, numerous allergies, and egoistic personality disorders.
Since arriving in our timeline, SCP-&-2 has claimed to be experiencing unusual dreams, believed to be similar to those normally experienced after the usage of SCP-&-1. Relating to SCP-&-2's cross-timeline travel using SCP-&-1, these dreams are theorized to represent altertnate timelines. Many of these timelines have undergone K-Class scenarios of varying types and in a variety of chronological positions in comparison to our own, with some being in the relative future and others being in the relative past. The general content of these dreams is similar to dreams normally experienced by users of SCP-&-1.
Addendum &.1: On XX/XX/XX, SCP-&-2 escaped during a mass containment breach involving [REDACTED FOR SECURITY] and gained access to a Foundation computer terminal. SCP-&-2 was able to input an access code gained through unidentified means4 and accessed the file for SCP-████. While the cognitohazardous guards of the page were deployed, they did not take effect upon SCP-&-2, who was able to gain access to the page. As information concerning SCP-████ is highly restricted, Foundation Security Personnel were immediately deployed.
However, SCP-&-2 was able to escape Site-17 and escape to the outside world. It remained free for a period of eight months, at which point it contacted Foundation personnel and returned to Foundation control. It requested an interview with an individual with clearance for SCP-████,
which was granted.
Two days following the interview, SCP-&-2 was found dead within it's containment cell, having committed suicide by hanging itself using it's bed sheets. Further information regarding SCP-&-2's relation to SCP-████ is sealed under Level 4/& Clearance.

Consciousness confirmed. Retrieving file.
It is currently believed that SCP-& does not originate from an alternate timeline as initially assumed but a previous iteration of the current world, created using SCP-2000, the file accessed by SCP-&-2 during it's escape attempt.
It is believed that SCP-&-1 does not actually exhibit any qualities allowing for the transportation across timelines, but can rather allow for an individual to find themselves in a new iteration of the world rebuilt by SCP-2000.
SCP-&-2 was a non-anomalous human, of a strain more closely similar to the original versions of humanity before Foundation modification of the species using Bright-Zartion Hominid Replicators. All differences between SCP-&-2 and baseline humans are a result of these changes, and represent a version of humanity from an earlier iteration.
After SCP-&-2 escaped from Foundation control, the HMCL Supervisor for SCP-2000 (Dr. Charles Gears) requested that SCP-&-2 not be immediately captured. This request was approved by the O5 Council (6-5-2) and SCP-&-2 was instead tracked and monitored. During this time, SCP-&-2 visited historical landmarks, major cities, it's hometown, and Yosemite National Park. During this time, SCP-&-2 is believed to have searched for the entrance to SCP-2000, but was prevented by embedded Foundation security agents.
The interview between a Foundation personnel with Level 4/2000 clearance and SCP-&-2 was granted due to potential knowledge concerning SCP-2000 that the Foundation personnel have lost access to, such as the number of times the complex has been activated.
Interviewer: Doctor Thaddeus Xyank. Dr. Xyank was selected for being an individual located at Site-17 who already possessed 4/2000 Clearance.
Interviewed: SCP-&-2
Foreword: Dr. Xyank was instructed to interview SCP-&-2 and attempt to asses what information SCP-&-2 was aware of concerning SCP-2000, to complete Foundation records. He was instructed to allow SCP-&-1 to discuss what it wanted to.Xyank: Hello, &. I was told you wished to speak with me.
&-2: No. I remember you. You're that doctor that spoke to me about my time machine when I first showed up. I wanted somebody who knows about that … that thing!
Xyank: I know more about SCP-2000 than you do. In fact, I am responsible for a large part of the installation's security measures. You saw the file.
&-2: Was it really you?
Xyank: I personally possess memory of it.
&-2: So no. You're not the real Xyank.
Xyank: I am not the first Xyank, but that doesn't mean I'm not the real one.
&-2: Listen to you! You think the world is as real as it once was?
Xyank: What do you mean?
&-2: I mean that I traveled the world, all over. I took in your so-called history and it is…
At this moment, SCP-&-2 broke down into tears and did not speak for approximately one minute.
&-2: Let me ask you a question, Doctor Xyank. Have you ever played the game Telephone?
Xyank: I know of the game, but I can't remember ever playing it.
&-2: You played that game with the world. You ripped up so many times and then stitched it together and each time it got further and further from the truth.
Xyank: Can you elaborate on that? Any instances of discrepancies you've noticed?
&-2: Where do I even begin. [pauses] I remember breaking free from here and making out into the world. I had to rob a man on the road - used one of your guns, took his clothes, his money, his car. The controls of the car were just subtly different. Brake and gas were reversed for one. At the time, I thought it was just a model I hadn't been used to. Took off. I pulled into a truckstop and ordered some food. Bought a can of Pepsi. I took one sip and I tasted Coke.
Xyank: I'm sorry?
&-2: You got some things right. The existance of those brands, the difference between them. But you fucked up what they tasted like. Swapped them at some point. Maybe swapped them a bunch of times. [pauses] That reminds me. How many times have you done it?
Xyank: Activated the Ganymede Protocol?
&-2: Whatever you call your butchery.
Xyank: At least twice.
&-2: BULLSHIT! I've seen the world end a dozen times in my dreams!
Xyank: The exact number is above my clearance level.
&-2: Do you even know?
Xyank: I feel as though you are getting mad at us for saving the world. It's better to have a world of some kind than nothingness.
&-2: There was this one dream where your O5s met to discuss some SCP. [[[#]]] It had already breached, and they debated letting it destroy the world and picking up the pieces, or breaking the masquerade. Guess what they chose.
Xyank: But we are not…
&-2: You're not an O5 this time, are you?
NOTICE FROM THE CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE COORDINATION AND PROJECTS OPERATION COMMAND OFFICE
SPC-1522 is currently operational. GRIEVING TRAWLER has been deployed with the Global Carcharodon Offensive5 in the Bering Sea in order to combat MIGHTY-JAW Deviant-type Selachian entities frequently encountered in that region.
Project #: SPC-1522
Selachian Pugnātorial Capabilities: GRIEVING TRAWLER has been enhanced to enable a method of combat that functions similarly to traditional SPC techniques, despite it's nontraditional form preventing normal methods of selachian pugilism. GRIEVING TRAWLER is to accelerate at maximum velocity - currently believed to be 180 kilometers per hour - and ram into MIGHTY-JAW Deviant-type Selachian entities that breach surface water in the Bering Sea.
Project Components: SPC-1522 refers to the usage of modified fishing trawler with anomalous sapience, referred to as GRIEVING TRAWLER. Before modification by the Centre, GRIEVING TRAWLER was capable of exceeding the maximum speeds for a vehicle of it's make and model.
GRIEVING TRAWLER was first observed by GCO operatives in the Arctic, near the coast of the Soviet Federation's Aleutian islands. At the time, GRIEVING TRAWLER was a member of a pair of two apparently sapient fishing trawlers.6 These two fishing trawlers were observed interacting with whales in the Bering Sea in a playful and non-harmful manner.
After boarding the trawlers and assessing that neither possessed any selachian tendencies or influences, GCO operatives allowed the vehicles to continue in their previous behavior. Over the next six years, GCO assessed that the two vessels responded to Morse Code communications in English. Communications were established with the vessels but little information of note was recorded.
On 3/18/2005, GCO operatives were pursuing one of the largest MIGHTY-JAW Deviant Type Selachian entities ever recorded by the Center through the Arctic when they noticed the presence of both GRIEVING TRAWLER and MOURNED TRAWLER. The operatives were able to assess that MIGHTY-JAW Deviant Type entity was pursuing MOURNED TRAWLER as prey. The GCO agents attempted to warn MOURNED TRAWLER of the coming threat, but MOURNED TRAWLER was not able to escape the MIGHTY-JAW entity. The entity burst from the water and swallowed MOURNED TRAWLER whole.
In response, GRIEVING TRAWLER accelerated to speeds of 120 kilometers, heading directly to the MIGHTY-JAW entity, colliding with the entity at high speed. The entity was killed in the collision, and GRIEVING TRAWLER badly damaged. GCO operatives then salvaged the remains of GRIEVING TRAWLER from the water, and brought it aboard their ship. It was assessed that GRIEVING TRAWLER was still operational and conscious, and given the opportunity of collaborating with GCO assets. After affirming it's desire to do so, GRIEVING TRAWLER was modified to assist the GCO.
Item #: SCP-?
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures:
Note from O5-9: As of ██/██/2017, these containment procedures have been declared null. (See Addendum ?.1)
Description: SCP-? is a humanoid entity visually perceived to be an ordinary human. The SCP-?’s human appearance is that of 1.8 meter tall Norwegian male. This perceptive effect extends to the naked eye and several forms of camera viewing. Viewing types that this effect does not extend to include thermal imaging, thaumaturgical and visual-based Kant-counter readings. As a result of the imaging types able to view SCP-?, a proper physical description of the entity’s true appearance is not possible, as only a general depiction of features is possible. On average, the physical dimensions of the entity appear to be approximately .15 meters larger than the physical dimensions of its perceived humanoid form.
Many of the properties and measurements of SCP-? are not consistent with expected predictions. A full list of these incongruities is available below. As a result of the unexpected nature of this testing, a reclassification to Keter is pending.
Physical contact - Matter passes through the area SCP-? that protrudes from the body of it’s humanoid projection
Weight - 73 kilograms. (Normal for a 1.8 meter tall Norwegian, not for a giant)
Temperature - Consistent temperature of 30 degrees celsius throughout area of of SCP-? that protrudes from it’s body
Kant Counter Reading - 1.5 humes measured. (Current models place a similar illusory effect at a minimum of 5 humes. The hypothesized hume count for an entity of similar size would be a minimum of 2 humes)
Scranton Reality Anchor - SCP-? ceased to appear as a nonhuman entity when viewed through thermal imaging and visual-based Kant counter readings. SCP-?’s humanoid projection reported feeling abnormally cold.
Addendum ?.1:
After reviewing the most recent round of testing with SCP-?, I have come to the conclusion that the current theory for the entity’s anomalous properties is incorrect. It is my opinion that SCP-? is not a large humanoid entity projecting an illusion of a human, but in fact a human that is projecting an anomalous heat field around itself. This hypothesis is supported by several interviews conducted with SCP-?, which were removed from the main report on the anomaly due to their lack of useful information concerning the currently hypothesized anomaly. In these interviews, SCP-? claimed they were merely an ordinary individual who had developed the ability to “never be cold”.
Upon final review, I have come to the conclusion that SCP-?’s properties do not warrant full classification as an SCP. SCP-? will be redesignated to AH-379 and hired as an E-class personnel, under standard operating procedures for the containment of non-SCP anomalous humanoids. AH-379’s description shall be included to SCP-?’s file, and the original documentation will be left intact at the advice of RAISA.
The doctors and researchers who formulated the original theory on the nature of SCP-? will not be reprimanded for their actions. While Occam’s Razor is a valuable tool in many other fields, we cannot do the same. Without a healthy degree of paranoia and caution, terrible things both can and have happened. In a field surrounded by the unusual and strange, it is only natural to assume there must be more to the anomalies we contain. It is unanimous the view of the O5 council that it is better to overestimate an anomalies capabilities than underestimate them.
Addendum ?.2: Anomalous Humanoid 379
Object Class: AH-379
Item Description: A male humanoid that projects an anomalous aura of heat around itself, heating his surroundings to 30 degrees Celsius.

The Writer of this timeline was a humanoid marble statue in the shape of a man, wandering the surface of his cold moon home. It took it's time to transcribe a detailed history of the planet Earth, able to observe the world through unknown means I could not determine. When I approached it, the statue happily and readily began to discuss the history of Earth with me - finding comfort in one who appreciated what it had been doing on Ganymede - but shied away from the topic of it's origins or creation. I didn't wish to push it for that information, as the lonely thing seemed starved for attention. I couldn't bring myself to be rude. I was not raised to be impolite.
Isn't A-247 where Daevites are at war with vampires?

Ganymede itself is the writer in this timeline. By slowly manipulating geologic processes, it is able to create writing in an as-of-yet unidentified language. As a result, this Writer operates on an extremelly slow timespan to create the writing when compared to others. As a note, these writings have been observed by civilian researchers upon Earth, since they are notably larger than the marks of any other Writer.

The Writer of this world was a small alien whose ship crashed upon the surface of Ganymede. If it matters for King, this Writer is no longer on the moon of Ganymede. He was a simple trader, only passing through our system on a merchant's mission when he was forced to down his ship due to extreme damage. After coming upon it, I introduced myself and offered to trade parts for the repair of the ship in exchange for information about itself and the ship. The ship had a great amount of detailed information concerning the practical use of faster-than-light technology that was employed on the vessel, which I noted as character count exceeded. contact admin gnosis

A Random Day:
I guess my biggest problems with this piece are that the universal constant plot feels underwhelming and I never get a sense of the characters; they all sound similar and blend into each other which is the last thing a Black Queen format should do.
Joreth:
Agreed with ARD: one of the most enduring draws for a Black Queen format (which is still the only GOI format I enjoy) is the fact that all of the personalities have very distinct personalities. Some are laconic, some are loquacious, some sardonic, some serious. Not saying that you always need a Manic Pixie Dream Queen (or the opposite), but the way how each Queen presents the universe represents a great deal of the personalities.
The baseline anomaly isn't unsalvagable, but it's presented in a really flat and boring way that makes it uninteresting.
Decibelles:
I feel that my biases to the Black Queen are present but this wasn't boring or a slog to read. I think it needed more differentiation between the Queens and the base premise is just okay, but I'm not gonna downvote.
TheBillith
Not downvoting out of solidarity, but I also agree.
The concept is neat, but it doesn't necessarily need the Black Queen affiliation and having it kind of detracts. If you wanted to keep the Queen in there, then you definitely have to vary it a bit more, have a nicer payoff at the end.
It reminded me of a more toned-down version of CODENAME: THE TRUTH
DrMagnus
It's a relatively short piece, which means it needs a lot of punch to hit the reader, and this just didn't deliver.
Agent Sanderson
Gotta agree with A Random Day yet again. I loved the Black Queen formats, as well as the whole concept itself, it's just… bland. I remember there was one with a crazily, well, insane Black Queen, there was one who acted like a thirteen-year-old child, there was one that wrote upside-down… this one had none of it. Instead, it was just a bunch of people, writing stuff.
I'd beg you guys to not take it down and to give it a chance, but I'm not a staff member, so not like anyone would care or anything.
Item #: SCP-$
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: The room containing SCP-$ has been turned into a containment cell. The building containing SCP-$ (designated Facility-$) is to operate as the management headqarters of South Coast Properties, a Foundation front agency. As SCP-$ is immovable, no further containment procedures are necessary.
Description: SCP-$ is located in its containment cell at Facility-$. No further, accurate information describing SCP-$ exists.
SCP-$ is an object that is lacking all traditional properties of objects except location. SCP-$ does not have matter, mass, volume, density, weight, form, or appearance. As SCP-$ is lacking a physical presence, it cannot be moved from it's location, which has been designated as SCP-$-A.
No traditional or anomalous sense is capable of sensing SCP-$, but any individual who percieves SCP-$-A in any capacity becomes aware that SCP-$ is located there. Individuals who are aware of SCP-$-A but not SCP-$ are aware than unknown object is located there, but cannot justify this knowledge.
Addendum A: Testing Logs
Subject: D-6174
Testing Command: D-6174 is instructed to enter the room and describe it.
Subject Response: "Uh, let's see… The walls in here are a beige, but there are some white spaces. The floor is linoleum, you've got this checkerboard pattern of white and black. Over on the side there's some plumbing stuff. There's something in the middle of the floor. From the looks of it, I think this used to be a break room, but you ripped out the sink and everything.
Testing Command: D-6174 is told to describe the "thing in the middle of the floor."
Subject Response: "Oh, uh… It's about seven feet from the door, at a diagonal of, I'd say, 45 degrees? It doesn't look like anything at all… it's just there."Testing Command: D-6174 is ordered to walk through in a straight line between two points (X and O) marked on the walls of the containment cell. This line passes through SCP-$.
Subject Response: "Uh, that thing in the middle of the floor is in the way… don't think I could. I'd like to help, of course! Please don't hurt me."Testing Command: D-6174 is given a ball and instructed to roll it along the floor in a straight line between X and O.
Subject Response: "The ball rolled right on through, like there wasn't anything there. I guess stuff can pass through the thing.Testing Command: D-6174 is ordered to walk in a straight line from X and O.
Subject Response: "I, uh, really felt like I was walking through something back there, when I passed through the thing."Testing Command: D-6174 is asked to describe what they felt when they passed through SCP-$.
Subject Response: "Well… uh… that's a tough question. It didn't really feel different, y'know? The air wasn't thicker or like jello or anything, didn't feel tingles down my spine or a chill or anything. Just felt I was walking through something. It's like, uh, crossing a border? Just feels different."
Notes: Individuals not informed of the existance of SCP-$ are aware of it. SCP-$ does not possess physical mass that can be interacted with.
Subject: A Golden Retriever dog, typically used a cadaver sniffing dog by Foundation field agents
Testing Command: Subject let into the containment cell of SCP-$.
Subject Response: Subject runs around the containment cell of SCP-$, but avoids SCP-$-A.Testing Command: A single dog treat is placed at SCP-$-A.
Subject Response: Subject approaches SCP-$-1 with caution, and then grabs the dog treat. It brings the dog treat away from SCP-$-A to eat it.7
Notes: Non-human animals are able to percieve SCP-$ in a manner similar to humans.
Subject: Doctor Lubrick
Testing Command: Dr. Lubrick is presented with the file for SCP-$, and then given one photo of SCP-$'s containment cell, and four identical containment cells. He is then asked to identify which photo is of SCP-$.
Subject Response: "It's this one, obviously. It's got that thing in the middle, right here, where I'm pointing."Testing Command: Dr. Lubrick is asked to explain why he chose the photo he did.
Subject Response: "Well, there's a thing in the photo and I can't describe it, so I'm just assuming that's the thing in question. It's clearly there, even though it doesn't look like anything."
Notes: The properties of SCP-$ extend to photographical evidence.
Subject: D-0542
Testing Command: D-0542 is instructed to lie down within SCP-$-A.
Subject Response: "This feels weird. There isn't anything here, but I can feel something. It's … it's not … I don't actually feel anything, but I can sense it? I don't know how to describe it.Testing Command: D-0542 is instructed to go to sleep within SCP-$-A.
Subject Response: "I don't think I can. This feels way too strange, I'm not going to be able to relax and get any sleep. This isn't happening, boss."Testing Command: D-0542 is administered a general anesthestic and laid down over SCP-$-A.
Subject Response: N/A (See Notes)
Notes: Six hours after administering the anesthestic to D-0542, testing personnel returned to observe the results of the test. D-0542 was no longer visible within the containment area, although all personnel reported that SCP-$ appeared larger.8Upon reviewing footage of the expirement, it was revealed that D-0542 never moved, but three hours into the test became imperceptible. No entrance or exit from the containment cell was noted at any time during the testing period.

Subject: New Phenomenon at Facility-$
Date: XX/XX/2017
Dear Director McTiriss,
The containment crew at Facility-$ have noticed some additional anomalous phenomenon in the wake of the most recent test of SCP-$, presumably related to the anomaly. (There's no other logical source - we only have one anomaly onsite.) We believe that it may be associated D-0542, but this has yet to be confirmed.
Several personnel around the site have have reported unidentified anomalous phenomenon. A recurrent theme within these is the trouble personnel have in accurately describing what they experienced, similar to the inability of personnel to articulate how they are able to percieve SCP-$.
- "When I entered the containment cell personally to inspect the anomaly, I felt this odd heaviness around me. I felt as though I was being pressed upon from all sides. Strangely, it did not feel like it was pressing from any direction at any given time, but all of them and none of them at the same time."
- "At about 2, while I was working, I saw a man I didn't recognize in my vision. He wasn't anywhere specific in my vision, but I could see him everywhere I turned. He was always in my vision, even when I closed my eyes. He was there for about five minutes, and then he was gone."
- "When I entered the break room, I could see orange everywhere. It wasn't on any object, and it wasn't in the air or anything. I don't think it was really in any place in particular. Now that I think about it, there were other colors - some kind of skin tone, a small amount of white, some black, a few others."
- "As I was leaving for the day, in the elevator, I heard this screaming. I couldn't make out any words, and it seemed like it was coming from every direction and none of them at once. I really couldn't make out any words, but it seemed distressed."
Most of the personnel working at Facility-$ are Level-0 South Coast Properties workers who are conduct (il)legitimate business with that front agency. If these new phenomenon keep up, we're going to need to drastically change what we use the Site for, since the place seems to have been contaminated. The Level-0s are very freaked about by this "ghost", as none of them have worked with anomalies before (or are even cleared to do so).
I'm requesting that you send some more personnel to the Site to help manage these new phenomenon - just the two of us we currently have aren't enough. On top of that, we're not really prepared for a new phenomenon like this - we've only worked on SCP-$ before, and this ghost seems to be very different than the relatively inert $.
Thanks,
Dr. Arbuthnot
Shaggydredlocks: This is SCP-3942 but not nearly as intriguing.
Stormbreath: That's fair, and I can see how you would think that. I'd argue there are differences but I can see how they are very similar. The similarities are really at the root idea, so there's not much I can do to change it.
Shaggydredlocks: I mean, it even goes as far as to have something unknown occur to one of the D-Class, who are in some way sustained into the anomaly and escape containment, just as in 3942. There are some differences, I suppose, but 3942 executes it in a more sensible manner.
legendaryweredragon: I don't think that the way the people react to the object is realistic. If I experienced this I would probably be a lot more confused and frightened by the mental dissonance of knowing that I was seeing something I couldn't see. Even if I knew that it wasn't dangerous, I think that experiencing something like this would be a lot more unsettling. I probably would feel like I was going crazy. It doesn't seem right how calmly the people are reacting to it.
fieldstone: This is a good point- I didn't mind the overall similarity to other information scrambling locations (like 3942 and also that one about the basement that switches around the identities of objects in it) by the end. This is just different enough for me.
I did feel like the beginning of the article dragged somewhat, as the characters experimented with phenomena we as the audience are largely familiar with. Giving the test subjects more of a reaction would really help, and you could even show a couple different reactions (like contrasting a subject who has to struggle through existential terror with one who is indifferent or confused because their mind won't quite let them accept what's going on.) I ended up novoting, but I think with more characterization of the test subjects this would be a solid addition to our collection of disinformation-type anomalies.

Special Containment Procedures: Owing to the unique nature of SCP-001, instances are self containing. SCP-001-ΣΚΠ is to subsume additional SCP-001 instances into itself. The natural tendencies of SCP-001 are sufficient for the containment of all other facets of it's being.
Information regarding SCP-001 is to be quarantined under 001/List Modules/Containment procedures, in addition to other true SCP-001 entries as well as several falsified entries. The falsity of these entries is not to be indicated within the articles themselves.
SCP-001-ΣΚΠ is to be maintained at all costs. No special effort needs to be undertaken to ensure this.
Description: SCP-001 is the tendency for select sapient consciousnesses to organize themselves into groups and organizations dedicated to the secure containment or management of perceived extranormal objects, events, persons and locations.
The specific behaviors of these groups and organizations have a statistically significant degree of similarity (p < 0.00001), leading to the hypothesized explanation of an anomalous effect causing the formation of these groups.
SCP-001 is not believed to be infohazardous, cognitohazardous or memetic. Knowledge of the organizations formed as a result of SCP-001 does not compel individuals to form new organizations with similar tendencies. If a memetic vector exists, it has not been discovered. Rather, SCP-001 appears to be a tendency innately found in sapient minds.
The presence of SCP-001 appears to be ubiquitous: instances of SCP-001 have been found in almost every major human population with recorded history. Instances of SCP-001 have been discovered in most alternative dimensions traveled reached by the Foundation and have been discovered in non-human consciousnesses as well.
Organizations formed as a result of SCP-001 share numerous stylistic choices in their containment and management of anomalies. A partial list of these attributes as well as a percentage of groups that meet the requirements is as follows:
- Detailed instruction documents for the proper safe keeping of anomalies (100%)
- Assignment of a non-indicative number to designate anomalies. (98%)
- Assignment of a qualitative measurement of some aspect of the anomaly (96%)9
- Presence of a single individual with complete control/power (95%)
- Leadership structured in a authoritarian council, lower than the aforementioned single individual (91%)
- Maintenance of a "Veil", keeping knowledge of the anomalous private from the public (87%)
- Usage of a disposable workforce for labor and testing (67%)
- If the aforementioned workforce is present, it being comprised of criminals or prisoners (84%)
- Tendency to avoid the destruction of anomalous objects (58%)
- Heavy usage of the letters "S", "C" and/or "P"; or close cultural equivalents (24%)

Item #: SCP-7777
Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: The United Earth Fleet has left SCP-7777's solar system.
No further containment procedures are necessary.
Description: SCP-7777 is an exoplanet located approximately twenty-five light years from the Sol System, discovered by the United Earth Fleet on August 20th, 1975. SCP-7777 was formerly was the formerly the home planet of the taronyu, a sapient humanoid alien species, prior to a EK-Class ("Broken Foundation") Scenario10 that caused their extinction.
Radio signals sent by the taronyu were recorded by Foundation assets on Earth beginning in 1942. Foundation intervention to conceal these transmissions was negligible, preventing general public awareness. These transmissions continued until 1966, at which point they stopped.
The United Earth Fleet Command decided to travel to the star system of SCP-7777 following the disappearance of Earth, in the hopes of discovering an inhabitable planet or a trade partner. Upon arriving, it was quickly discovered that almost all life on SCP-7777 was extinct.
The taronyu11 are a sapient alien species with a roughly humanoid body shape.
SCP-7777-B is a collection of anomalous phenomenon located on SCP-7777, which resulted in the near total extinction of the taronyu. Each SCP-7777-B phenomenon caused a distinct K-Class Scenario on SCP-7777. For the purpose of brevity, only the conclusively identified K-Class Scenarios and their causes have been listed below.
| Designation | K-Class Scenario | Description |
| 7777-B-1 | IK (Collapse of Global Civilization) |
The "Dead Hand" system of a major taronyu world superpower, designed to the ensure mutually assured destruction. However, upon a transition between heads of state, SCP-7777-B-1 malfunctioned and detected the end of the government and initiated nuclear war. The resultant nuclear war lasted for approximately five hours. By the conclusion of the war, over ten thousand nuclear weapons had been detonated upon SCP-7777, destroying most bases of the "scp-analog" and most major metropolitan areas, in addition to causing severe nuclear fallout. The exact functioning mechanics of SCP-7777-B-1 are unknown, but is believed to have functioned using a demonic solid-state drive set to monitor for specific parameters. These parameters were set too specific, and a minor change in government triggered the dead hand. |
| 7777-B-2 | RK (Out-Competition) |
SCP-7777-B-2 was a collection of organic nanites designed to improve the taronyu anatomy. However, difficulties in implementing these improvements caused partial brain death and cannibalistic impulses in the effected. The SCP analog had kept a small sample of SCP-7777-B-2, which was released during the IK-Class Scenario and became airborn. In the days following the IK-Class Scenario, 49% of taronyu on SCP-7777 became infected with SCP-7777-B-2. |
| 7777-B-3 | GK (Broken Greenhouse) |
SCP-7777-B-3 was a large glass orrery of the SCP-7777 solar system. When not properly aligned, it would project a noncorporeal herbicidal field, destroying local plant matter. This field would expand based upon the amount of time spent unaligned. SCP-7777-B-3 was previously mantained by the SCP analog, but this maintenance stopped when they were destroyed. As a result, all plant life on SCP-7777 was rapidly killed off, with the field ceasing to expand past the boundaries of SCP-7777's atmosphere. |
| 7777-B-4 | XK-Ω (Eschaton) |
7777-B-4 was a collection of seven humanoid entities standing 500 meters tall, bearing noted similarity to SCP-██. All SCP-7777-B-4 had been in a dormant state prior to the activation of SCP-7777-B-1, and were targeted with nuclear missiles in a neutralization attempt during the IK-Class Scenario. These nuclear weapons did not kill any SCP-7777-B-4 instances, and only awakened them. The SCP-7777-B-4 identified themselves as the Kive 'Itan Tun Koren12, and took control of the remnants of taronyu society. They granted an anomalous resistance to radiation and SCP-7777-B-2 to any taronyu that served them. |
| 7777-B-5 | AK (Madness) |
An intensely virulant memetic cult, centered around five. The exact origin of SCP-7777-B-5 is unknown, but similar organizations were observed by the "scp-analog" prior to the end of the world. It is believed that these organizations heavily mutated following another K-Class Scenario, becoming SCP-7777-B-5. SCP-7777-B-4-5 became infected with SCP-7777-B-5, altering the details of its cult in order to follow the principles of SCP-7777-B-5. Further research has indicated [LETHAL INFOHAZARD EXPUNGED]. |
| 7777-B-6 | WK (Meteorlogical) | death of a weather god, causes all weather on the planet to go COMPLETELY FUCKING BERSERK |
Approximately 70% of the society of SCP-7777 died during the IK-Class Scenario initiated by SCP-7777-B-1, and with another 20% dying as a result of the WK-Class Scenario caused by SCP-7777-B-6. A large majority of these casualties were reanimated as SCP-7777-B-2-ζ instances.
One year after the IK-Class Scenario, the remaining population of SCP-7777 was in the service of an SCP-7777-B-4 instance, practicting cannibalism as a result of the complete famine caused by SCP-7777-B-3.
Approximately five years after the IK-Class Scenario, the last taronyu on the surface of SCP-7777 died.
By the time the UEF fleet arrived to SCP-7777 in1975 — thirty four years after the IK-Class Scenario — all life on SCP-7777 was apparently dead. All SCP-7777-B-4 instances had apparently killed each other, having them been transformed into SCP-7777-B-2-ζ instances.

Item #: SCP-000
Object Class: Safe
Containment Procedures: A sample of SCP-000 is to be stored in a Class 2 Sample Freezer at Biological Containment Site 04. Testing is only to be conducted with the approval of Site Director Paulson and Project Head Kennis.
Description: SCP-000 is a strain of archaea of unidentified origin. SCP-000 possesses two identified anomalous qualities. The first is a near total resistance to all tested forms of chemical harm. No samples of SCP-000 have been killed by any tested antimicrobial damage. SCP-000 has survived all tested pH conditions, including levels of both 0 and 14. SCP-000 has only been adversely affected by extreme temperatures below 250K and above 4,000K. When SCP-000 samples are returned to temperatures within this range and rejuvenated with water, they return to full functionality. All drugs and chemicals tested upon SCP-000 have failed to adversely affect the samples. Radiation has not been shown to have a measurable effect on SCP-000 up to 200 rems.
The second property of SCP-000 is the ability to reproduce quickly with a minimal amount of resources. SCP-000 is able to undergo mitosis and produce daughter cells with only trace amounts of nutrients. The nutrients consumed by SCP-000 do not satisfy the standard nutrient requirements for an archaea of it's size, and are far lower. As such, SCP-000 is able to reproduce far faster than a non-anomalous bacteria of it's kind.
Testing has not indicated any harmful effects after exposure to humans.

Containment Procedures: A sample of SCP-000 is to be stored in a Class 2 Sample Freezer at Biological Containment Site 04. Testing is only to be conducted with the approval of Site Director Paulson and Project Head Dr. Kennis. At the discretion of Project Head Dr. Kennis, testing of SCP-000 is to be suspended until confirmation of potentially harmful side affects can be ascertained.

Testing has not indicated any harmful effects after exposure to humans. Long term testing has indicated that females exposed to SCP-000 who later become pregnant become infertile after childbirth. Further research is being conducted into these properties.
If SCP-000 has long-term, conditional harmful side effects like this, we are in grave danger. D-Class subjects that were tested on with SCP-000 were remitted into the normal D-Class population after three months of quarantine. We did our best to wipe their systems of SCP-000, but there is a possibility that some of the archaea survived. At the time, this was deemed acceptable due to the lack of harmful side effects. However, some of the female D-Class were used for testing with [[SCP-2453]] and indicated a lack of repeat fertility. Some of the women had been pregnant before being tested with SCP-000, but lost fertility after becoming pregnant again.
If these properties are true and some of this archaea was released into the population - no matter how small - there could be disastrous effects on global population as a whole. Testing has indicated that it is extremely hard to destroy SCP-000, and it can reproduce anywhere. We are looking at a potential outbreak of enormous scale.

Containment Procedures: All samples of SCP-000 are to be stored in a Class 5 Freezer at the nearest Biological Containment Site to the site of initial containment of the sample. Testing of SCP-000 is forbidden without the prior approval by a majority of the O5 Council.
A randomly selected sample of all 5% of all Foundation employees of all security levels and personnel classes is to be conducted at all Foundation sites, for the presence of SCP-000. Any civilians taken into Foundation custody are to be assessed for the presence of SCP-000. No further action is to be taken against individuals that test positive, as testing is for assessment purposes only.
SCP-000 has been classified a Class-Ω Hazard. Maximum resources are to be diverted to finding a method of either stopping SCP-000 infection or killing SCP-000 samples. All otherwise unused resources are to be diverted to this task.

The nutrients consumed by SCP-000 do not satisfy the standard nutrient requirements for an archaea of it's size, and are far lower. As such, SCP-000 is able to reproduce far faster than a non-anomalous bacteria of it's kind.
These factors combine to make SCP-000 an extremely infectious disease with no known cure. Most forms of quarantine do not adequately protect against SCP-000 infection. While initial testing of SCP-000 rigorously tested against of SCP-000 and attempted to cleanse potentially infected individuals, only one individual with a small amount of SCP-000 infection in their body was necessary to allow SCP-000 into the general population of Foundation employees.
SCP-000 reacts highly in the presence of certain chemicals and compounds typically released by the female body during childbirth. While some of these chemicals are present at other times, they are typically only high enough to activate SCP-000 during childbirth. After being exposed to such chemical compounds, SCP-000 begins to attack certain essential parts of the female reproductive system, extensively damaging the organs.
As such, females who have been exposed to SCP-000 and then become pregnant suffer a lack of fertility. Because of the other anomalous properties of SCP-000, a containment breach of SCP-000 could result in a substantial decrease in the human population of Earth. Worst-case scenario projections for SCP-000 indicate a potential FK-GH Class Scenario (Human Extinction - Dead Greenhouse), indicating the total extinction of the human race.
After confirming that there is a loss of repeat fertility from exposure, the Foundation has retooled the article and is doing damage assessment.
Discussion of threat of FK/GH Event (Human Extinction - Dead Greenhouse). Humanity could die out but most other lifeforms will be findfine.

The Foundation has discovered that there were sources outside their use as a vector (which did introduce the bacteria into the population) and it has spread massively. Immediate upgrade to highest priority.
