Special Containment Procedures: Item SCP-XXXX is to be contained within a Portable Storage Shed five (5) meters in length and width and four (4) meters in height to prevent wear from outside elements as well as to prevent civilian interest. Location SCP-XXXX-1 is to be surrounded by a 200-meter square perimeter of two side-by-side four (4) meter high chain-link fences with privacy slats and concertina barbed wire. Location SCP-XXXX-1 is to display an archaeological dig as a facade and be patrolled by two (2) separate security teams of no less than two (2) personnel. SCP-XXXX is to have at least four (4) working security cameras surveying the surrounding area. In case of accidental discovery of SCP-XXXX by civilians, Class-A amesiacs are to be administered.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a freestanding wooden door and frame painted with burgundy colored lead paint, estimated to have been built during the early 1890's. SCP-XXXX measures 83.75 centimeters in length, 182.8 centimeters in height, and 4.5 centimeters in width. SCP-XXXX is able to stand upright despite a lack of struts or supports, and is incapable of being moved (see Test Log SCP-XXXX-2). It is currently unknown as to how or why SCP-XXXX is incapable of being moved. What appears to be a shadowy void is seen when the door is opened, although no portal is seen when viewed from the back, either open or closed. Upon passing through the door and fully entering the void, both items and personnel are transported to an area approximately 240 meters away, referred to as SCP-XXXX-1. Items and personnel appear at location SCP-XXXX-1 almost instantaneously and slowly fade into existence. If an item is placed in the area where an item or person is coalescing, said item will become fully merged with both people and items down to an atomic level. Both SCP-XXXX and SCP-XXXX-1 are located at an undisclosed location in Joshua Tree National Park.

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be stored in a Minimal Security Storage Locker at Site-73, and is to be constantly monitored via closed-circuit television. There are to be two surveillance cameras trained on the object, one directly above (Camera A) and one directly below (Camera B). SCP-XXXX is to be housed in a high-level security room at Dimensional Containment Area-135. The object is to be monitored at all times by four (4) high powered thermal sensors, four (4) closed-circuit television surveillance cameras, two (2) high level humidity sensors, and two (2) localized reality sensors. Regular check-ups are to be performed at least twice a month, and MTF-Nu-5 has been assigned in order to respond to any anomalous activity similar to that of Incident XXXX-1

Description: SCP-XXXX is a glassware object around one foot high. It has a stem at the bottom, and the rim of the glass is wider than the bottom of the glass. When viewed from from above, the inside of the glass does not appear any different from that of normal glassware. However, when the inside of the glass is viewed through the wall of the glass, a an absolute darkness can be seen at the rim of the glass preventing the viewer from seeing through the top. It is believed that the sides of the glass are what allow the anomaly to be seen, as it cannot be viewed from the inside of the glass. There is no known way of testing what the blackness is, as it does not give off any radiation and is for all intensive purposes not there. Why the anomaly can only be viewed through the sides of the glass is also unknown, as molecular testing has not revealed any materials other than glass. It has been theorized that the anomaly is in fact a miniature black hole, partially between this reality and another. This theory has been noted, and is awaiting review for possible testing Testing of SCP-XXXX has been postponed indefinitely, following Incident XXXX-1.

Location: Site-73

Description: At 11:23 on MONTH/DAY/YEAR, one [REDACTED] was seen exiting the anomaly via Camera B. At approximately 17:36 the containment team assigned to that block began a Primary Response Test in response to the alert. The [REDACTED] was confirmed as being a singular instance of SCP-████, and a category Θ-Theta site-lockdown was put into effect. In response to the Θ-Theta site-lockdown, MTF-Eta-3 was sent to respond to threat as necessary. At 18:05 after none of the usual symptoms involved with SCP-████ occurred, the site-lockdown was removed, and testing began on the apparently contained hazard. Testing yielded no results, and viewing from inside of the glass did not reveal anything irregular.

Addendum XXXX-1: Following Incident XXXX-1, it has been confirmed that the inside of SCP-XXXX is an intangible one-way interdimensional portal, and its Special Containment Protocol has been updated to accommodate this. SCP-XXXX is to be moved to Area-135.

History: SCP-XXXX was recovered by Field Agent ██████ at a swap meet in ██████ █████, Saskatchewan while investigating an urban legend. The object was transported to Site-73 without issue.

Individuals with Level 2 security clearance or higher are not to be allowed access to SCP-XXXX by order of Site Director ██████. Individuals exposed to the memetic effects of SCP-XXXX are to be terminated in a timely matter so as to prevent suffering. It is imperative that knowledge of be concealed at all costs. Two (2) security guards are to posted outside of the items room to prevent access. Testing of SCP-XXXX has been postponed indefinitely.

Description: SCP-XXXX is an uncut slab of Pentelic marble possessing memetic qualities. It measures 1.2 meters high, 0.7 meters wide, and 0.05 meters thick. When exposed to the slab, lifeforms capable of self-awareness begin to experience symptoms related to the nervous system. These symptoms include severe horripilation, debilitating involuntary tremors across the entire body, increased heartrate, and eventually uncontrollable seizures. Subjects have also reported the sensation of intense paresthesia. There is no known way of reversing these conditions, and amnestics have no effect.

The memetic agent is transmitted when the subject becomes aware of SCP-XXXX. The agent does not reside in the subjects consciousness, instead it causes irreversible changes to the subjects muscular and nervous systems. It is advised that amnestics not be dispensed to affected personnel.

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a medically induced coma via general anesthesia at all times. She is to be constantly monitored by an array of specialized equipment including but not limited to: one electrocardiography monitor, one continuous pulse oximeter, one electronic blood pressure monitor, one continuous flow anesthesia machine, one capnography monitor, and one electroencephalography monitor. Addition or removal of monitoring devices are to occur with the permission of at least two site directors. Any personnel thought to be affected by SCP-XXXX are to be subjected to psychological review. Personnel known to be affected by SCP-XXXX are to be terminated.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a twenty-nine year old human female named Adalyn ████████. She possesses the strength of an average female of her age and race, and does not pose a significant physical threat. She purports to be of Eurasian ancestry, despite a highly detailed family tree put together by Foundation genealogists confirming an almost exclusively Germanic ancestry. Her skin is a very dark black color, and her irises are devoid of pigmentation. Her appearance has been described by site personnel as 'revolting', and 'unsettling'.

When anyone within a radius of twelve meters enters REM sleep, they will vividly dream of SCP-XXXX speaking to them. Subjects have not been able to recall what they believed she was saying to them. After awakening, subjects will undergo three stages over a period of two to twelve weeks depending on the mental resolve of the subject. Subjects known to be under the influence SCP-XXXX are to be reclassified as SCP-XXXX-A1. Her abilities manifest only when she is fully conscious.

The first of the the three stages can last anywhere from two days to eight days. Symptoms of Stage One include a constant want to be near SCP-XXXX, slightly increased heart rate and perspiration, and minor agitation when not in the presence of SCP-XXXX.

The second stage manifests whenever subjects begin to violently attempt to be with SCP-XXXX. Subjects will become visibly panicked and distressed when left alone for more than five hours. This stage can last anywhere from one to two weeks.

The third and final stage occurs when attempts to reach SCP-XXXX begin to become less frequent and of a lesser intensity. This stage can last as long as nine weeks. Over time, the attempts will become less and less severe, and subjects will become less and less emotionally responsive. It is believed that she 'sucks the emotion out', so to speak. And the end of this stage, subjects are almost entirely unresponsive to outside stimuli and will only engage in basic activities such as eating, drinking, sleeping, and breathing. Subjects displaying these symptoms are to be reclassified as SCP-XXXX-A2.

If instances of SCP-XXXX-A1 have been within twelve meters of SCP-XXXX for at least five hours before entering Stage Two, they are to be reclassified as SCP-XXXX-B. Instances of SCP-XXXX-B display attitudes of extreme euphoria when in the presence of SCP-XXXX. They have a greatly increased metabolism and heart rate, and will attempt to protect her if they percieve her to be in danger. Instances of SCP-XXXX-B will eventually succumb to shock, for unknown reasons. Instances of SCP-XXXX-B have been recorded to survive for as long as eighteen months, although most expire within three months.

After approximately forty-five minutes D-XXXX-1 begins to loose consciousness. Approximately an hour and twenty minutes later D-XXXX-1 enters the first REM stage of sleep.

Dr. Stefans: D-XXXX-1 has just opened his eyes. I just waved my hand in front of them, and uh… no response noted. It appears that the subject is experiencing nocturnal lagophthalmos. That means open eyes while sleeping, Control.

Control: Noted, please continue.

Dr. Stefans: I'm going to give him around fifteen more minutes, then I'll wake him up.

Fifteen minutes later.

Control: Dr. Stefans that's fifteen minutes, please continue with the experiment.

Dr. Stefans: Okay. D-XXXX-1, wake up.

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to have four (4) video surveillance cameras attached to each of the ceiling corners of room E4-23 pointed towards the center of the room. Should it become active when not in testing, Response Team 062-A is to report to the objects current location for further instruction. If at any time monitoring of SCP-XXXX ceases to function or experiences irregular activity, a checkup is to be performed by at least two containment specialists and at least one security officer.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a two point two five (2.25) meter high antique longcase clock of ornate design dating from the late 16th century approximately. Its design matches that of clocks produced by Allam & Clements. Despite having no chains, weights, or pendulum the clock face still shows time concurrent with that of London time.

The anomalous activity is triggered when the door in the front of SCP-XXXX is opened and any object with a volume greater than that of 500 micrometers enters its cavity¹. Whenever an object is placed inside its cavity they evaporate within three to five seconds, depending on the size and quantity of the object. The area where any objects end up is from here on out known as location SCP-XXXX-1. Location SCP-XXXX-1 is a large spherical above ground cave approximately twelve (12) meters in height and a circumference of approximately 56.5 meters. There are four (4) exits, each one right angle away from each other. These exits have been arbitrarily designated as north, south, east, and west. At the center of the cave is an intangible longcase clock. It has been theorized that this clock, designated SCP-XXXX-1-1, is in fact SCP-XXXX partially located in location SCP-XXXX-1. That is to say that the location is in a separate dimension than the one earth is in. It is unknown if SCP-XXXX entirely contains SCP-XXXX-1 within its cavity or is a portal to its true location, as global positioning systems fail to transmit data on location. It has been hypothesized that all technology which requires a CPU to run does not function on location due to the size of transistors being smaller than the cutoff size. Testing is ongoing as to whether much larger transistors will work and if it is possible for location SCP-XXXX-1 to become a safe area in the case of containment breach. Foreword: Prior to beginning of log, Exploration Team 013 (Exploration Officers 013-001 through 013-012) entered location SCP-XXXX-1 via SCP-XXXX-1-1, with each officer allowed no less than one minute and thirty seconds to recollect themselves before next entry. Officer 001: This is Exploration Officer 013-001, reporting in. Uh, I landed on a bunch of stuff when I came through. Looks like a bunch of beer cans, some dirt, a camera, a pea plant, and a cube of something. Also there's some sort of weird see-through grandfather clock, looks like SCP-XXXX. Its really messing with me, y'know. It's like only a little bit of the clock is here, and all that trash is in the center.

The review team did not understand what Exploration Officer 006 meant what he said that they were "over there and not here" and "we haven't moved on". It should be noted that Exploration Officer 006 had previously been diagnosed with a very mild case of obsessive compulsive disorder by on-site psychologists.

Officer 003: Yeah Bo, chill.

Officer 005 "Bo": Sorry guys, I'll give it a rest. You are the leader Joe, your call.

Joe: Well, I mean we've got nothing better to do, let's check it out.

Description: SCP-XXXX is purportedly a being named Truiz'thox the Epitome residing in a separate reality. All information regarding SCP-XXXX has been provided to The Foundation by The Free State of Rapture. The information provided is assumed to be truthful, although it is unknown how The Free State came to possess it. SCP-XXXX has been described as "a huge-ass monster with tentacles"² and is currently in stasis in the reality known as Iapetus Prime. Foreword: The following interview was conducted after several months of diplomatic negotiations between The Foundation and The Free State of Rapture. The interview occurred in an Argentinian consulate in the United States over the course of four days.

Dr. Louis: Okay, we are now rolling. You told me earlier than your higher-ups wanted you to tell us about some sort of, what was it… uncontrollable monster? Is that correct.

Juan Rodriguez: Yes, that's correct.

Dr. Louis: Alright. Could you please describe the monster? We want to get as detailed a description as possible for the record.

Juan: Okay so here's the thing. We can't really discuss what it looks like, for a couple of reasons. The first is that even though we are sort of allies, there are some things we'd rather not discuss fully. We take our privacy very seriously. The second is that we don't really fully know what it looks like either.

Dr. Louis: And why is that?

Juan is silent for a couple of moments.

Juan: You guys have been studying stuff like this for a long time, and probably understand it better than us, from a scientific standpoint I mean. But there's still a lot that you don't know. When you think about the universe, there's three dimensions, right? There's vertical, horizontal, and lateral. Well that's only inside this universe, or any universe for that matter. Now imagine that there are a bunch of universes, one on top of another, sort of like layers on a cake. Now imagine that all of those universes have been squished together, so that they all exist within the same area. That's basically how reality works. Except instead of the universes having measurable dimensions like a cake, they're almost infinite in size. So large that numbers stop having meaning. You with me?

Dr. Louis: Yes, completely. This is quite intriguing.

Juan: Okay, so now imagine that even though this reality is infinite in all directions, there's another reality right next to it. It's quite a hard concept to grasp, I know. Really as humans we can't even begin to truly realize this, so don't try, you'll just get frustrated. Anyway, while it is possible to get from one universe to the next in this reality, it's basically impossible to get from one reality to another.

Dr. Louis: Where does that monster have to do with all of this though?

Juan: Oh yes. Sorry, I was getting a little off topic. I tend to ramble a lot. Anyways, in that other reality there's basically a huge-ass monster with tentacles. That's all I can tell you about what it looks like. Actually, I shouldn't say looks like bcause they don't have that there.

Dr. Louis: They?

Juan: The reality I mean. They, as in the reality doesn't have the laws of physics like we do.

Dr. Louis: Oh, I get it. Go on.

Juan: Sure. Now we call that monster Truiz'thox the Epitome, and it is currently asleep. I say asleep because I'm not allowed to say what's really happening. Anyway, Truiz'thox is asleep, and when he's asleep he can't do anything. And when he wakes up, we're all basically [OBSCENITY EXPUNGED].

Dr. Louis: What do mean by that?

Juan: What I mean is that when he wakes up, there is absolutely nothing you can do to stop the destruction of everything.

Dr. Louis: I still don't think I'm getting it. Why are we all, er… doomed?

Juan: Yeah, probably should have explained that first. So basically, there's no way to successfully get from one reality to another. And I say successfully in terms of humanity. There is no way for humans to successfully get from one reality to another. Now, for Truiz'thox it's different. Imagine you have one shirt with one central thread holding that shirt together. Now imagine that you take the end of that thread and begin to pull at it, at it begins to unravel. That's what Truiz'thox is trying to do. And once he succeeds at pulling out that thread, the entire shirt is going to unravel into nothing and he's going to push that thread through the eye of a needle and push that needle into a whole new shirt. As you may have guessed, that shirt is our reality. And when the tip of that needle goes through this shirt, that thread is going to enter our reality. The thread is every bit of energy in the previous reality, and it's going to enter this reality through the tiniest of holes. And you know what happens when you put a lot of energy into a small space, right?

Dr. Louis: Kaboom…

Juan: That is one hundred percent correct. And when that happens, all of our reality will be erased, and he can do whatever he wants with it.

Dr. Louis: But why?

Juan: Why what?

Dr. Louis: Why is he trying to get to this reality?

Juan: Because his reality is dying, and this is the only way he can stay alive. Truiz'thox is unimaginably old. He's done this more times than there are atoms in our universe. Also there are more things like him, and they fight constantly. They are, quite literally, Gods. Unfortunately I'm not at liberty to discuss more than that.

Dr. Louis is silent.

Dr. Louis: This is… quite a lot of information to process. We appreciate you coming. One last question though. How long until all of this happens?

Juan chuckles.

Juan: Don't worry doctor, you have plenty of time. Truiz'thox won't become active for a long, long time. Hell, humanity might not even be here to see it happen. Have a good day Dr. Louis.

Description: The Free State of Rapture is a group of individuals backed by the Argentinian government responsible for the capture and containment of several anomalous objects and entities. The Foundation has unsuccessfully attempted to obtain some of these items several times through formal meetings with high ranking members of the organization and attempts to form a coalition with the Argentinian government. It is unknown how The Free State of Rapture has obtained information pertaining to previously unknown anomalies, although almost every time they have recovered an anomaly it has been in a very public area. It is for this reason that objects under the supervision of GOI-104 be retrieved as soon as possible.

The hierarchy of The Free State is very clandestine pyramid structure, with the highest ranking members having knowledge of the members of ranks below, but not the opposite way around. The lowest ranks operate in cells, usually composed of seven to eight people. These cells usually operate individually, and often have very little knowledge of the actual structure of The Free State. Every cell has one senior member who reports in to higher ranking members of The State outside of the cells, although many cells are not informed of this. If at any time a threat arises and high-ranking members of The State deem it necessary, many cells will combine and form a large taskforce, varying in size based on the threat. Many members have noted taskforces composed of more than 150 people. Cells are usually very informal in nature, and will very often recruit members off the streets. Cells are often very mobile, and have proven to be hard to track.

The command structure of The Free State is composed of the top two ranks. The highest rank, called the Council, is composed of at least seven currently unknown indviduals and one individual by the name of Jace. Jace, who has not revealed himself except through name, was responsible for the initial meeting between The Foundation and The State. The secondary rank is composed of more than 50 members appointed by the Council to carry out tasks imperative to the integrity of the organization.

Despite being funded by the Argentinean government, The Free State of Rapture operates worldwide, with headquarters in Manila, Istanbul, and Mexico City. It should be noted that all headquarters are located in developing countries.

So I finished that report on GOI-104-NA06, and I found something you might be interested in. Turns out about 4 days ago they met up with a higher-up in the ranks. I couldn't get all the details from the recovered security footage, but from what I could glean they're supposed to meet up with another cell in about a week. For what reason, I haven't the slightest. You might want to send it to your supervisor, see if this warrants a full investigation. I'm including the footage and a partial transcript.
