T Day

Special Containment Procedures: The object is to be locked in an airtight, empty containment cell no smaller than 5 x 5 x 3 meters with a single airtight door. UV lights are to be present above and below the short hall with airtight doors on both sides leading into the containment cell. No shadowed areas are to be present at any time and any that are found are to be reported immediately. D-class subjects entering the containment cell are to enter the short hall outside the containment cell and wait for the outside door to be completely closed and the containment cell door to open. Subjects may then enter the containment cell for testing on the object. Exiting the containment cell is to be watched with extreme vigilance. Subjects entering the hall are to be shut in and the UV lights are to be shut off for no less than 15 seconds then be turned on. Once the object is confirmed to not be inside the hall, the outside door can be opened and D-class can be questioned. A body recovery team will use similar procedures except will use portable UV lanterns while inside the containment cell.

Description: SCP-#### is a dark tendril like entity that is estimated to be about 1 meter in length with two, 1 meter long arm-like appendages at its center. SCP-#### is only active when in the presence of sentient beings where no UV light is present. Upon activity, it will move randomly around any subject(s), typically brushing by the subject(s) or moving past their line of sight. This will continue until the subject(s) vocally acknowledge its presence. Once this confirmation is made, SCP-#### will move up a D-class subject's back until its appendages are at neck level. At this point, every reaction the D-class makes towards SCP-#### will result in it [REDACTED], killing the subject after several reactions.

Subjects who don't react will develop symptoms of extreme paranoia until SCP-#### claws at the subject's face and leaving to another nearby subject or wall. D-class who experienced any amount of paranoia from SCP-#### keep the level of paranoia they received, but only in the dark. This level of paranoia will not escalate unless exposed to SCP-### a second time. The paranoia won't decline either unless the subject is in a well lit room. Many D-class exposed to SCP-#### often have night terrors and panic attacks.
