Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: Note: This document is categorized as Active/Ongoing/Developing. Field adjustments to Containment Procedures are permitted by any personnel with clearance level 2-XXXX. Previous records archived at Site 43 Logs And Records office as retXXXX[1953-1968].pql, retXXXX[1968-1982].pql, retXXXX[1982-1996].pql, and retXXXX[1996-2007].pql.

Mobile Outpost T-Gamma has been established for housing personnel and monitoring SCP-XXXX Exclusion Zone. Direct observation is to be conducted with high-altitude Cirrus drones. Any unauthorized entry is to be intercepted and/or diverted. Outside of security breaches, personnel are only to enter SCP-XXXX for weekly surveying of SCP-XXXX-1 dimensions or investigation of possible Locomotion Events. Any other entry requires permission of project head or any Local District Administrator with at least Level 3 clearance. Personnel are not to spend more than 12 hours within SCP-XXXX.

Dimensions of SCP-XXXX-1 are to be regularly updated with Site 43 Logs And Records office. All recovered samples of SCP-XXXX-3 are to be sent to Site 43, Sector 3 Artifact Lab for storage and analysis.

Description: SCP-XXXX is contained within an Exclusion Zone, currently 4.4km in diameter, surrounding its apparent area of activity, a section of the Sequoia National Forest approximately 48km north of Kernville, CA.

SCP-XXXX-1 is an indentation in the ground that lies at the center of the Exclusion Zone, measuring ███ meters wide and ██ meters deep as of 7/3/2007. Since initial containment, SCP-XXXX-1's dimensions have increased at an annual rate of ██ to ██ percent. Examination has revealed that the terrain around and beneath SCP-XXXX-1 has been steadily compressing, though the cause of this compression is unknown.

SCP-XXXX-2 is a phenomenon of spontaneous motion of objects within the boundary of SCP-XXXX first observed on 1/29/1982, referred to as a Locomotion Event. Likelihood of manifestation increases with increased proximity to SCP-XXXX-1, and stationary objects are more likely to be affected than mobile objects. Locomotion Events will always exhibit movement in the direction of SCP-XXXX-1. Such movements are usually subtle and on the order of 1-5 cm, but distances of over 30 meters have been observed.

Previous Containment Procedures erroneously held that mobile objects were unaffected by SCP-XXXX-2. This was determined to be inaccurate on 5/15/1996 when Researcher M████████ was injured during a Locomotion Event. Researcher M████████ had spent a total of 16 days within the Exclusion Zone when fellow personnel witnessed him violently lifted, by unknown mechanism, several meters vertically and 20 meters laterally. Researcher M████████ suffered fractured ribs, a dislocated shoulder, concussion, and second degree burns on approximately 10% of his body. All interior personnel recalled, and containment procedures updated.

Containment Procedures updated again on 7/3/2007. At this time, manifestation of foreign objects were confirmed within SCP-XXXX. These objects were initially noticed as small fragments of metal plates, gears, hydraulics, insulated cable, printed circuit board, shards of ground glass, carbon fiber composites, and other debris suggesting origin from unknown machinery and/or vehicle(s). Origin of these foreign objects is unknown. All recovered objects of this nature have collectively been designated SCP-XXXX-3 and assigned a Live Storage Allotment at Site 43's Artifact Lab.

The largest sample, artifact 2007-3f, is a piece of molded composite material approximately 3 meters long and 1 meter wide. It exhibits significant structural wear and heat damage, including perforations consistent with 20mm depleted uranium ordnance impact, and four parallel striations up to 48cm long and 3cm deep, containing traces of human blood and other organic matter awaiting identification. Lastly, 2007-3f bears what appears to be part of the logo of [REDACTED], a large technology corporation. Embedded agents have yet to uncover or report any projects that could be shown to directly relate to SCP-XXXX.

Complete item report is available at Site 43 Logs And Records office, and requires Level 4 approval for access. All handling of 2007-3f requires Class-A Hot Material safety measures.
