Description: SCP-XXXX is an infomercial that airs on television channels ███, ███, ███, ███ and ██████ between 2:00 and 5:00 a.m. It presents the same style as other infomecials aired on similar hours, calling directly to the viewer and promising solutions to various problems of everyday life. Instead of selling a product, however, SCP-XXXX advertises the services of a seemingly omnipotent supernatural entity. 73% of exposed subjects express desire to call the number advertised at the end of the commercial. Viewers who call the advertised number enter in contact with the supernatural entity hereby designated SCP-XXXX-1. For the next few minutes, the subject will tell SCP-XXXX-1 about their personal problems. Personal problems told to SCP-XXXX-1 will be solved in a period ranging from one week to two years. Subjects who came in contact with SCP-XXXX-1 will express feelings consistent with deep religious experiences.

Special Containment Procedures: Copies of SCP-XXXX-01, SCP-XXXX-02, SCP-XXXX-03, SCP-XXXX-04 are to be kept in a marked box at the storage in Site-73. Access may be granted under approval from two level 4 researchers. Instances of SCP-XXXX-03 and SCP-XXXX-04 have been found on the internet more than once. Although they have been taken down from major video sharing sites, containment of files circulating through P2P services has been unsuccessful so far.

Description: SCP-XXXX are copies of anti-drug propaganda vehiculated in the city of ████████, ██, between March and June of 1972, designated SCP-XXXX-1 through 4. Subjects exposed to instances of SCP-XXXX who consume any of the drugs mentioned in that instance will react to them in manners consistent with those depicted on it. Copies of SCP-XXXX's instances maintain their anomalous effects. Any personnel exposed to instances of SCP-XXXX must be administered class C amnestics.

SCP-XXXX-01 is a billboard ad measuring 5 m x 15 m. It depicts a teenage boy using heroine while a marijuana cigarette lies in the ashtray. Several needle tracks can be seen at his arm. On the figure's top right, the ad reads “Marijuana is the gateway drug”. Subjects exposed to SCP-XXXX-1 will, upon consumption of marijuana, escalate on their drug use to heavier drugs such as cocaine and heroin.

SCP-XXXX-02 is a pamphlet given on anti-drug lectures on high schools. It informs the reader of the side-effects of the use of different drugs. These effects, however, don't necessarily correspond to proven effects of drug usage. They include: hypersexuality, convulsions, fits of rage, eye bleeding, suicidal thoughts and schizophrenia. Consumption even in small amounts of any of the drugs mentioned in SCP-XXXX-02 by exposed subjects will trigger those side-effects.
Neuroimaging suggests that the chemical reactions of the brain to those drugs have changed, although the exact nature of this change and its causes are still under study.

SCP-XXXX-03 and SCP-XXXX-04 are television ads broadcasted on the local station.

SCP-XXXX-03 depicts a group of teenagers smoking marijuana. It itends to show the bad decisions that can be made under the influence of drugs. Subjects exposed to SCP-XXXX-3 have shown general recklessness, commonly injuring themselves or others as a consequence. It has to be noted that while the consumption of marijuana can be argued to impair judgement, the behaviors presented by subjects is incosistent with those presented by users of cannabis who have not been exposed to the ad.

SCP-XXXX-04 depicts two young adults consuming cocaine. While a direct link between drug usage and criminal impulses has never been proven, the commercial tries to inform the viewers of such connection. Subjects exposed to SCP-XXXX-04 have shown disregard for social norms, often in the form of unlawful behavior. Psychological analysis suggests that subjects develop Antisocial Personality.

Acquisition log: SCP-XXXX came to the Foundation's attention when it received reports of sudden violence and rampaging drug use among teenagers in ████████. Questioning revealed that the strange behavior began after the city's campaign to decrease drug use. Testing revealed the anomalous effects of SCP-XXXX, and the Foundation estimated that about 70% of the city's population between 15 and 21 years old had been infected. Class B amnesiacs were mass administered and false memories implanted. Initial investigations on the culprits lead to the political activist group ███ █████. Additional investigations revealed no new information and the case was archived.

Two men who appear to be around 20 years old are in a bathroom.

Man #1: So… how do we do it?

Man #2 chuckles. He takes a little bag of cocaine out of his pocket and shows it to his friend. He pours two piles of cocaine on the sink, gets a business card in his wallet and scoops the cocaine in two lines. He then gets a dollar bill, rolls it and uses it to snort one of the cocaine lines. He pulls his head up, shake it a little, blink and then smile.

Man #2: Now you do it.

Man #1 hesitates, but gets the dollar bill from Man #2. He rolls it up and snort the other cocaine line. He quickly pulls his head up.

Man #2: So, how do you feel?

Man #1: I feel… unstoppable!

Man #1 takes a knife out of his jacket and stabs Man #2 multiple times. He then leaves the bathroom.
The scene cuts to the outside of what we now see is a restaurant. Man #1 crashes through the window and runs through the streets towards a woman with a purse.

Man #1: (pointing the knife towards her) Give me your purse, I gotta buy more drugs!

The woman screams, gives him the purse and runs away. The image freezes and the sustentation line comes up: “Drugs lead to crime!”
