SCP-XXXX (circa 1987).

Special Containment Procedures: A three kilometer exclusion zone has been established around SCP-XXXX. Three Foundation personnel operating as agents of the National Park Service are to be stationed within this zone. In addition to their official duties as park rangers, they are to perform daily examinations of nearby access roads and hiking trails.

Non-Foundation personnel found within the exclusion zone are to be escorted out; abandoned vehicles and camp-sites are to be reported to XXXX Incident Command. All evidence regarding disappearances linked to SCP-XXXX is to be examined, documented, and destroyed.

XXXX Incident Command is to be notified of all authorized entries into SCP-XXXX. Personnel entering SCP-XXXX are limited to twenty minute excursions; should they exceed this limit, no attempt at recovery is to be made. Prior to entry, personnel are to be reminded that SCP-XXXX has no basement. All unauthorized broadcasts originating from the site are to be disregarded.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a six-bedroom, four-story residence constructed at some point in the early 20th century. It is located in South Mountains State Park, North Carolina (USA). Its internal topography exhibits numerous spatial, temporal, and memetic anomalies. A detailed analysis of all such effects is available for review in Addendum XXXX.2.

Addendum XXXX.1: Recovery

From left to right: Samantha, Dorothy, Nora, Michael, and Thomas Bodair (circa 1978).

On February 3rd, 1982, local authorities arrived at SCP-XXXX after nearby residents reported no contact with its current residents (the Bodair family) for a period of several months.

Police officers entered the residence through the front door; after a brief search, they found the bodies of Dorothy and Nora Bodair huddled together in the second floor closet. Both corpses were in a state of severe decomposition consistent with bodies submerged in water for several months.

An extended search failed to uncover the location of Samantha, Michael, or Thomas Bodair. However, forensic analysis suggested that the house had been inhabited by at least two residents up until three days prior to the police's arrival.

In the process of their investigation, several officers reported unusual experiences throughout the home. Following the disappearance of three officers assigned to the case, a Foundation liaison for the department was notified; shortly thereafter, the residence was declared anomalous and designated SCP-XXXX.
