Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in a secure, locked, and soundproof locker when not in use or being tested upon. It may only be removed from the locker with authorization from at least one Level 4 personnel.

It is only to be used if there is at least one Level 1 staffer on hand wearing soundproof headphones to block all sound coming from SCP-XXXX.

Description: SCP-XXXX is a square, black cassette recorder and player. There are six buttons on the front of it (The 'RECORD' button is broken), with the words "Personal Portable Recorder and Cassette Player" above the buttons. There is also a faded silver knob that controls the volume of the device.

SCP-XXXX was found with a simple cassette tape inside of it. The tape had the words 'BEETLES (sic) MIX' on a faded yellow label. At this time, the tape is not believed to have any special qualities about it, but is being held in the same storage locker as SCP-XXXX in a simple white envelope.
