SCP-3391

Item#: SCP-3391

Symbol

Object class : Safe

Special Containment procedures : The SCP-3391 must be contained at all times in a fireproof, high temperature resistant container with no other requirements besides standard seals to prevent leakage, and thermal isolation for a temperature rating no lower that 150 degrees centigrade. It is to be contained at all times besides experimentation purposes when personnel has to wear fireproof equipment. Access to the specimen is to be granted by the site director only, to a team of at least 2 and a maximum of 3 researchers with level 3 clearance.

Description : SCP-3391 is the remaining blood and tissue after the encounter with SCP-3391-1 at site 65. The encounter happened as described in the Activity report-23. The blood and tissue presents itself as a non coagulating substance and a soft mass respectively with a constant temperature of 100 degrees centigrade which does not drop in contact with other cooling surfaces or substances. This implies the material possesses a high amount of latent energy which for all intents and purposes may be infinite.
The soft tissue presents with markings not observer prior to the incident described in Addendum-3391-A

Experiment-1 :
Experiment purpose : measure temperature changes in contact with coolants.
Procedure : inject cooling liquid in increasing quantities ranging from 25 ml to 250 ml, in 25 ml steps.
Results : After injection of coolant liquid with a temperature of -145 degrees there is no registered temperature change measured by infrared or contact sensors, at any quantity injected.

Activity report #23/[DATA EXPUNGED] :
Two (2) hours into the first shift of today we encountered a security breach near the northern entrance to the facility located near ███████ at site 65. The security breach consisted of what seemed to be a naked human walking towards the entrance in a way which denotes inebriation. At closer inspection ,the human later named SCP-####-1, shows to be in pain. His foot prints left behind were black and denoted scorched ground and fauna. Video surveillance with thermal imaging shows that the temperature of the subject is case is in excess of six hundred (600) degrees centigrade.
The two guard on duty confront the subject. According to site procedures termination is attempted but the subject shows no visible affection from shots fired. In a short period of time the subject increases rate of walking yelling repeatedly what could be deciphered as "THEY WANT YOU…". The subject reaches a close vicinity of the two on duty guards and detonates creating a fireball circa twenty meters (20 m) in radius. The explosion renders one guard dead and severely injures the second one. The injured guard had to spend 3 months in recovery before being able to begin activity again.

Addendum 2391-A : The soft tissue retrieved from the explosion described in Activity report 23/[DATA EXPUNGED] visually resembles human skin. It is impossible for the tissue to be analyzed under a microscope because of the high temperature it presents. At the same time the tissue presents high resistance to cutting utensils. Due to high temperatures and high resistance to sharp edges samples have been impossible to attain and the only recorded data about the tissue is now attained by high resolution cameras. Because of this, data on the sample is scarce and visual at most. On the upper most layer of skin there are visible markings which are described in the artistic rendition AR-001-2931.
Further investigation methods recommendations needed as well as solutions to aquire a microscopic investigation of the sample.

** Dr. ███████ Notes : ** The tissue has high mechanical resistance and outstanding resistance to heat. The "tattoo" we found on it looks very specific, not an artistic work, but more like an identification code. this needs further investigation by forensic specialists, specifically cryptographic specialists.
