Item #: SCP- XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: Item is to be kept in a steel safe with 5 centimeter-thick padding, lined with microfiber cloth, in order to prevent possible damage to SCP-xxxx
Description: SCP-Xxxx is a cube-like object, made of plain stained yellow glass. This glass shows no anomalous properties, and can be damaged or scratched. All edges of the item are 10 centimeters in length. It appears to be solid, with no air bubbles or empty pockets, and weighs 16 ounces.
Despite the concrete measurements and the material it is made of having no special properties, SCP-xxxx has a physical appearance that cannot be accurately described by words in any known human language. Although it is being described as 'cube-like', it does not comply with the properties of any traditional cube. Subjects have said that SCP-xxxx possesses 32 edges, and 16 vertices. Subjects have also noted a small inscription on one of the items faces, which reads as:
"4 3 22 8 13
0
0 1 14 19 19
7 0 3
0
6 14 14 3
8 3 4 0"
SCP-xxxx was discovered in the family-run oddities shop "███ ███████ █████", located in [REDACTED] Oregon, January 14th, 18██. It was confiscated with relative ease, and class A amnestics were administered to the owners of the shop and SCP-2xxx.
Outside of its unusual appearance, tests have shown that SCP-2xxx does not have any other anomalous properties, is not sapient, and does not emit radiation.
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX must be contained in an cylindrical glass container, 22 centimeters tall and 2 centimeters in circumference. SCP-XXXX is to be rolled up so that the writing on SCP-XXXX is not visible to anyone viewing it while in containment. All instances of SCP-XXXX-2 are to be contained in a similar fashion.
Instances of SCP-XXXX-3 should be contained in 4x4x3 room, with (2) 15x15 barred glass windows, a bed, sink, and a waste disposal chute. They are to be given 3 meals a day, with water provided as consumed. If an instance of SCP-XXXX-3 has a medical condition/s, such as asthma, diabetes, allergies or any other form of disability, these should be taken into account, with meals modified to meet individual needs, and the guards assigned to them provided with needed medication/s. Only (1) guard is needed outside of the room of any instances of SCP-XXXX-3, although more guards may be assigned if one has shown violent tendencies, or has a history of escape attempts. Any guard assigned to watch an instance of SCP-XXXX-3 is to have hourly 'check-ups' on the status of their charge.
Instances of SCP-XXXX-3 should not be allowed in close proximity of one another, as no foundation staff can understand the language spoken by SCP-XXXX-3, and this lack of knowledge could be used for SCP-XXXX-3 to plan an escape or uprising.
Any discovered instances of SCP-XXXX-4 should be burned immediately, and contents on SCP-XXXX-4 should not be viewed by any personnel.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a sheet of college ruled paper, with writing in an unknown language covering about 3/4ths of the paper. This language uses the latin alphabet, and SCP-XXXX is the earliest known document to use this language. Under no circumstance should any personnel under a level 2 security clearance view the writing on SCP-XXXX, and pictures or copies of SCP-XXXX (or, by extension, instances of SCP-XXXX-2) are not permitted for any reason, without clearance from an O5, as this information could possibly be used to try and decipher the writing on SCP-XXXX[-2].
All successful attempts to translate the language originally on SCP-XXXX[-2] has lead to the person who translated the text to loose any and all knowledge and understanding of previously known languages, only speaking the language written originally on SCP-XXXX. This affect carries over to anyone who knowingly or unknowingly views a translation of the writing/s on SCP-XXXX[-2]. The people who have viewed these translations are to then classed as SCP-XXXX-3, while actual translations of the text are referred to as SCP-XXXX-4.
Due to the fact that SCP-XXXX has both a written and spoken form, many of the afflicted SCP-XXXX-4 have left audio or written records of the same language displayed on SCP-XXXX. These audio/written samples are all instances of SCP-XXXX-2, and will have the same effect of SCP-XXXX is translated.
SCP-XXXX and the first instances of SCP-XXXX-2, SCP-XXXX-3 and SCP-XXXX-4 were discovered when two students at ███████████ High School, located in █████████, Virginia USA, was reported to have stopped talking to their teachers, peers, and family, instead speaking "frantically, in gibberish". When confronted by a school counselor, they showed the counselor both SCP-XXXX and what was presumably the first instance of SCP-XXXX-4. Upon viewing SCP-XXXX-4, the counselor lost all of their reported fluency in their native and learned languages. Before the foundation took note of this behavior, ███ instances of SCP-XXXX-3 had occurred, and four times as many instances of SCP-XXXX-2 had been created. However, only 3 instances of SCP-XXXX-4 were created during this period, and have since been disposed of. All family members, close relatives, and students or staff members of ███████████ High School were administered class A amnestics. All instances of SCP-XXXX-3 were wiped from school and legal records. The belongings and houses of SCP-XXXX-3 instances were seized, and all instances of SCP-XXXX-2 were removed and stored.
The origins of SCP-XXXX and causes of its anomalous properties are unknown.
Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be kept in an 10x8x8 iron safe. Access to SCP-XXXX can only be permitted by staff with a level 2 security clearance or higher.
Description: SCP-XXXX is a transparent glass pickle jar, with the label torn off in a sloppy fashion. It 100 US dollars, in the form of 75 pennies, 13 quarters, 3 20-dollar bills, 3 5-dollar bills, and 21 1-dollar bills. All forms of currency are referred to as SCP-XXXX-2.
All attempts to empty SCP-XXXX have been unsuccessful. Anyone trying to touch SCP-XXXX-2 will invariably fail, as all attempts to retrieve SCP-XXXX-2 have resulted in personnel reporting an inability to move their hand (or any other device that could be used to extract SCP-XXXX-2) close enough to SCP-XXXX-2 to grasp it. Turning SCP-XXXX upside down results in SCP-XXXX-2 falling to the opening of SCP-XXXX, but being unable to move past that threshold. If any amount of SCP-XXXX-3 is taken from SCP-XXXX, the moment is exits the line of sight of any observers, it will dissipate immediately, reappearing in SCP-XXXX. If placed under constant observation, it will not dissipate for a period of (24) hours. However, after the 24-hour threshold is passed, any observers will, in unison, start to feel intense itching on both of their eyes and on the surrounding skin, along with the urge to blink or rub their eyes. After (25) hours pass, observers vision will quickly go dark for a split second, before returning to normal. When this occurs, SCP-XXXX-3 will return to SCP-XXXX.
After SCP-XXXX-3 returns to SCP-XXXX, the person who took SCP-XXXX-3 out of the jar will report feeling an "overwhelming fear of dread", which fades at different speeds depending on how much of SCP-XXXX-3 was removed and the personality of the person afflicted. Any time between (5) minutes and (1) month after the sense of dread fades, the person will be affected by a sudden period of intense pain, suffering, or bad luck. The severity is inversely proportional to the amount of SCP-XXXX-3 taken. The less SCP-XXXX-3 taken, the more severe the after affects, and the more SCP-XXXX-3 taken, the less severe the after affects.
SCP-XXXX Test Log A - ██/██/████
Procedure: Subject removes all of SCP-XXXX-3 from SCP-XXXX
Results: Subject recovers from dread in 10 minutes. Five minutes later, when leaving the room, subject sneezes on one of the nearby researchers.
Analysis: Subject went on to have a relatively calm charge, and was terminated at the end of the month. No notable events occurred.
Procedure: Subject removes $60 from SCP-XXXX
Results: Subject recovers from dread in 28 minutes. Five minutes later, no negative events occurred. No negative events occur for 2 weeks. However, on the following Monday, subject fell from a distance of ██ meters, sustaining a compound fracture on his right ankle, knee, wrist, and ankle, and dislocating his right shoulder. Subject was terminated soon after.
Analysis: Subject displayed a delayed reaction, more severe than the last experiment. A link between the amount of SCP-XXXX-3 taken, time for the feeling of dread to fade, and time for the negative event to occur will be investigated in further testing.
Procedure: Subject removes $95 from SCP-XXXX
Results: Subject recovers from dread in 11 minutes. Five minutes later, no negative event occurred. No negative events happen for two days. On the third day, for a period of twenty-four hours, whenever subject moved past a door frame, corner, or got closer than .5 meters to a piece of furniture, he would stub his toe on said item.
