SCP-XXXX, within a glass container

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-XXXX is to be contained in a glass container measuring 17.5 centimeters tall, 20 millimeters thick, and 15 centimeters long. Personnel are allowed to enter the room and observe SCP-XXXX but is restricted from opening it. No food supplies or water is needed. In case of injuries caused by SCP-XXXX, first aid is to be immediately retrieved from nearest storage. If victim is deceased, personnel are to leave the body alone and protect themselves. They may use their access cards to enter the containment room when given permission to do so. Personnel is however not allowed to incite or do provoking actions that anger SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX is capable of cutting through hard materials such as steel. It also possesses the ability to handle a large amount of voltage and disabling electrical components and facilities near its 10 meters radius range.

These are some important safety measures personnel should take note of:

  • To prevent technical faults, no electronic objects are to be placed near to SCP-XXXX containment. Ultraviolet light is to be placed inside the containment to reduce the activity of SCP-XXXX.
  • Should there be any other SCP containment breaches, personnel is discouraged from entering or getting near into proximity of SCP-XXXX containment.
  • Any instances of SCP-XXXX getting provoked, and critical damages were done in the glass container, personnel must immediately report to Mobile Task Force officers to activate anesthetic gas, putting SCP-XXXX into sleep.
  • SCP-XXXX produces radio waves with 20 kHz of over 177 dB, capable of deafening human ear and even death. Wearing ear muffs is mandatory during the breach.
  • If SCP-XXXX has caused the victim to suffer life-threatening cardiac dysrhythmias, ventricular fibrillation, and pulseless ventricular tachycardia, personnel must find the nearest automated external defibrillators, or if there is none, perform Cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

Description: SCP-XXXX is an animate and sentient cardboard cut-out four-legged figure. SCP-XXXX was obtained from K████ University student carrying out a project called "Manifestation of Artificially Intelligent Lives." It appears to have a shape of four legs and have an orange strip of tail measuring 113 mm sticking behind it. Its abdomen has a rectangular hole cut-out. The "ears" of SCP-XXXX is long, approximately 40 mm long, and the sharp edges enable SCP-XXXX to cut through hard solid objects such as diamond and titanium. SCP-XXXX, however, is not capable of cutting objects made up of glass. Orange post-it stickers that is successively attached at the rear end of SCP-XXXX is found to emit large amounts of electromagnetic forces, enabling it to control electronic entities near its range.

SCP-XXXX do not behave hostile 24/7 and remains docile most of the time. SCP-XXXX does not move occasionally due to the ultraviolet rays that reduces its motion. SCP-XXXX do not show any signs of aggressiveness or violence when left alone. SCP-XXXX has remained classified under Euclid class under Site-6 classification as it does not pose a significant danger to humans or any biological entities. SCP-XXXX does not make any sound from its own self, but possesses the capability to control sounds from any electrical sources through the release of an unknown radio wave in range. SCP-XXXX can interact through using external audio sources to communicate. Because of the emission of excessive noises in the background of the radio, it is difficult to interpret what SCP-XXXX is trying to say. SCP-XXXX produces an excessive amount of radio waves measuring an amplitude of over 3.5 meters, with a frequency exceeding 20 kHz, capable of attenuating radio waves in proximity of 15 meters radius.

SCP-XXXX, however, throughout its interaction, was never heard of talking about itself. SCP-XXXX was mainly negotiating to escape the containment, or simply discussing other SCPs characteristics and behavior. Despite many attempts of bringing topics to talk about itself, researchers still could not manage to do so. SCP-XXXX is later found to be an intelligent and sentient entity capable of speaking human languages. The following is a transcript of SCP-XXXX's speech. After several conversations with SCP-XXXX, Dr. █████ found that SCP-XXXX is highly intelligent with tones and music and delivers its message through people's voices of different pieces of music and lyrics. From this record of Document #XXXX-Log41, SCP-XXXX claims that its rightful creator is D██████ R██el (Deceased).

Date:█/██/█ ███ Document #XXXX-Log41: Recorded transcript of conversation with SCP-XXXX:

Dr. █████: Hi, can you read me?
(SCP-XXXX incomprehensible radio sound)
Dr. █████: Are you alright?
SCP-XXXX: you (background noises) hi
Dr. █████: Can you speak more clearly?
SCP-XXXX: Clearing noise (incomprehensible radio sound) noise
(rapid gibberish talk of SCP-XXXX)
(beeping sound)
SCP-XXXX: what? speakin' about (noise)?
Dr. █████: Speaking about?
(beeping sound and chattering noise)
SCP-XXXX: speaking…speaking about escaping
SCP-XXXX: Now we were on live show of Talking with Paul!
SCP-XXXX: hi there! Welcome -
Dr. █████: Hi, we need to ask you several questions.
SCP-XXXX: ok, what is it, Jimmy?
Dr. █████: Ok, where do you belong to?
SCP-XXXX: you belong with me- K████ University
Dr. █████: What is the name of your creator?
SCP-XXXX: Losing him was blue like I'd never known
Missing him was dark grey all alone
Forgetting him was like trying to know somebody you never met
But loving him was red
Loving him was D██████ R██el
(At this point, SCP-XXXX disabled the radio)

The second transcript recorded on █/██/█ ███ reveals the reason for the death of SCP-XXXX's creator.

Date:█/██/█ ███ Document #XXXX-Log55: Recorded transcript of conversation with SCP-XXXX:

Dr. █████: Hi
SCP-XXXX: (static noise) Hi
Dr. █████: Can I ask you another question?
SCP-XXXX: (incomprehensible rapid yelling noise) Ok, what your question?
Dr. █████: Why did D██████ R██el died?
SCP-XXXX: (sobbing sound) He's dead
(reverse sad piano song)
SCP-XXXX: (voice lowered tremendously) He's dead
Dr. █████: Why is he dead?
(beeping sound and chattering noise)
SCP-XXXX: (storm sound followed by rapid radio tuning sound)
(long pause)
SCP-XXXX: In this farewell
There's no blood, there's no alibi
'Cause I've drawn regret
From the truth of a thousand lies
So let mercy come and wash away
What I've done
I'll face myself to cross out what I've become
Erase myself
And let go of- (static sound) what I've done
Put to rest- (beeping sound followed by tuning sound) what you thought of me
While I clean this slate
With the hands of uncertainty
So let mercy come and wash away
What I've done
(At this point, SCP-XXXX deliberately disabled the radio again)

After this record of Document #XXXX-Log55, Dr.█████ realizes that the death of D██████ R██el is caused by SCP-XXXX.12
