Item #: SCP-XXXX
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: Amendments to SCP-XXXX are to be examined for potential adverse effects to reality. Should an amendment be found to have non-negligible risk, an agent acting as SCP-XXXX-A's advisor will work to alter or kill it before adoption.
Description: SCP-XXXX is the constitution of SCP-XXXX-A, a student organization at the █████████ Institute of ██████████. The members of SCP-XXXX-A have been determined to exhibit no anomalous properties outside of the influence of SCP-XXXX. SCP-XXXX is incapable of affecting any individuals who are not considered an “active member” in its current revision.
SCP-XXXX manipulates reality to be consistent with itself. This is primarily seen in the behavior of active members, who act in accordance with their defined expectations. SCP-XXXX accomplishes this by affecting personality, behavior, and conformance to the laws of physics. When SCP-XXXX is amended, its effects change accordingly. SCP-XXXX has been observed to comply with its own legal limitations, and is unable to contradict the school's club policy or Robert's Rules of Order.
SCP-XXXX's anomalous effects stem from a statement in Section █, describing SCP-XXXX's scope. That statement is reproduced here for the purpose of illustration and is not legally binding: [REDACTED].
Addendum XXXX-A: Partial list of constitution statements and their effects during initial containment
Constitution text | Effect |
---|---|
"Members will strive for excellence in their academic pursuits" | Upon becoming an active member, students will immediately alter their lifestyle and study habits in a way that allows them to perform as well as they are capable in their classes. |
"All members will show the highest regard for our ideals, those of justice, valor, and chivalry" | Beginning with becoming active, members exhibited increasing preoccupation with the stated ideals, to the detriment of their ability to participate in conversation. This obsession would begin to interfere with a subject's academic performance; though continuing to do the thing where they study really, really well, a subject would ultimately only retain information which could in some way be construed to relate to their ideals. |
" (…) so that members of this organization will be seen to rise higher than their peers" | Members were capable of leaping ██ meters vertically. |
