Stuff that we are doing!
(Bold stuff that is a requirement)

  • Sigma-3 Orientation (Gaffsey)

The initial orientation for the newly-reformed Sigma-3 following the botched raid on the Library. Shows the extent to which something like this is completely uncharted territory for the Foundation.

  • Frankie Says Relax (or something less terrible, idk) (Gaffsey)

A AAR for Sigma-3 tracking down a trio of death wizards who gain their power by cutting brakes and absorbing the energy from crashes. First big to-do for Sigma-3. Ends with the person who clued them in on it basically saying "I know you're Foundation, but you're alright"

  • suggestions from Dexanote will be prefaced by a [D]

1971

MTF Simga-3 ("Name") is formed with the intention of monitoring and containing anomalies associated with the GOI "Serpent's Hand" following a noticeable increase in activity and efficacy of operations. Surveillance and interrogation reveals the use of an uncontained SCP artifact ([D] anomalous space) known as "The Library."

1974

Dr. Ali Kamelov drafts a memorandum to the O5 Council entitled "The Library As A Weapon[" outlining the threat represented by the Library, both to the Foundation with regards to the Serpent's Hand, and to normalcy as a whole. Dr. Kamelov concludes that the best possible option is the containment of the Library, "by any means necessary." When asked for her opinion, MTF Sigma-3 Head Researcher Susan Barker responds "Gosh, no." Dr. Kamelov's recommendation is brought before the O5 Council, who unanimously reject it.

1978

Following the death of O5-██ on 19/3/1978, a senior Foundation employee, [REDACTED], is elevated in her place. On 25/8/1978, Serpents Hands operatives affect a containment breach at Site 82, resulting in ███ casualties and the loss of ██ SCP objects.

[D] Possible recovery of one or more individuals or artifacts. Double check timeline for the forgetful hat SCP.

The new O5-██ calls a snap vote to follow the recommendations of the Kamelov Memo. The motion passes, 7-5, with O5-█ abstaining.

(Moose: I think it works better if this is only one of several stories as to 'how this happened'. The votes did take place; they are a matter of record. Whether an O5 died, or why the vote happened, is all up in the air. Some reports say the O5 was 11, some say it was 3, others claim that 3 died long ago and only exists as a computer program anyway, etc)

Initial attempt to capture the WL

  • Some tale after the initial dust-up of Sigma-3 reaching out, awkwardly, to MCD, others, trying to get information about the WL

2014

TG: Agent Daniel Navarro becomes nominated for/joins Sigma-3. Really just a shortish character bit that I guess could provide some insight into who joins it, rather than just what those already in it actually do.
