SCP-XXXX in the midst of its final Akiran event prior to containment. Still captured by the Omniscope at Site-74.

Item #: SCP-XXXX

Object Class: Euclid

Special Containment Procedures: Due to the sheer terrestrial inaccessibility of SCP-XXXX, few classical containment procedures are necessary.

As of the successful implementation of Operation: Star Catchers on 1/25/18, SCP-XXXX is currently being held in place by the collective anti-anomaly field generated by a fleet of thirteen Omega-class drones, each equipped with the following:

  • Three Scranton Reality Anchors
  • One fusion warp drive
  • One Geiger counter
  • One electromagnetic spectrum tool
  • Eight cameras mounted on all sides

Description: SCP-XXXX is a mobile pocket dimension, measuring 1400 km in diameter, currently located in deep space 75.84 AU from Earth. SCP-XXXX absorbs all forms of radiation, including light, gamma rays and radio waves. It does, however, constantly emit a purple glow of unknown origin. From a distance, SCP-XXXX bears a similar appearance to a star lacking a corona.

Prior to the implementation of Omega-class drones, the following would have occurred regularly: After remaining inert for a period of 109 hours, SCP-XXXX will experience what is referred to as an Akiran Event. The space around SCP-XXXX will distort, and an orange flash will pulse outwards from its core. SCP-XXXX then dematerializes from its current location, instantly reappearing at another point in the universe. The location of these new celestial coordinates seems to be completely random; however this teleportation never displaces any major astronomical bodies. The area SCP-XXXX previously occupied is "filled" by the surrounding space.

Two explorations into SCP-XXXX have been conducted, and three additional pieces of interest have been noted within the interior of SCP-XXXX:

  • SCP-XXXX-1 refers to a temple of unknown architecture and origin located at the top of a hill, and the landscape that surrounds this structure. See Document [REDACTED] for more information.
  • SCP-XXXX-2 is a crystal-like substance that overlays the sky within SCP-XXXX. It bears a striking similarity to rose quartz, although their compositions are entirely different. Several hairline cracks adorn its surface, with two massive ones arcing and overlaying in opposite directions. Dr. Sanctra and several members of MTF Alpha-7 ("Lightlords") claim these cracks form the shape of an eye.
  • SCP-XXXX-3 is, for lack of a better term, "aggressive nothingness" that is located beyond SCP-XXXX-2. This energy is constantly pressing against SCP-XXXX-2, sometimes striking it so violently that it creates a sound similar to thunder. It is likely the reason for the damage that permeates SCP-XXXX-2. Dr. Sanctra has been unable to ascertain any information concerning the makeup of SCP-XXXX-3, such as its mass or volume. Scientifically, it does not exist, although has been theorized to act similar to antimatter.
